Abstrak. Wheelbarrow adalah salah satu alat angkut material yaitu gerobak sorong, wheelbarrow pada awalnya merupakan alat angkut yang sangat berguna bagi masyarakat yang melakukan aktivitas pengangkutan hasil perkebunan ataupun juga barang-barang bangunan yang lain sebagainya, jika dilihat dari definisinya wheelbarrow adalah alat angkut yang didorong dengan tangan, memiliki 1 buah roda, dan didorong oleh satu orang operator melalui handle. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut telah banyak pengembangan-pengembangan yang dilakukan terhadap sistem dan metode penunjang untuk mempermudah semua aktivitas tersebut. Salah satunya alat bantu angkut meterial yaitu gerobak sorong (wheelbarrow). Gerobak sorong atau wheelbarrow pada awalnya merupakan alat angkut yang sangat berguna bagi masyarakat untuk melakukan aktivitas pengangkutan hasil perkebunan ataupun juga barang-barang bangunan dan lain sebagainya,  Hasil perhitungan persentil yang dilakukan didapat panjang 29,02 cm dengan pembulatan menjadi 30 cm. jadi, panjang hendle perancangan yang ergonomis berdasarkan antropometri pekerja kebun kelapa sawit adalah sebesar 30 cm, dihitung dari titik las, diameter handle wheelbarrow sebesar 3,03 cm, dan lebar hendle 9,04 cm dengan pembulatan menjadi 9 cm. Hasil penelitian setelah dilakukan perancangan ulang Wheelbarrow yang berbasis Quality Function Deployment (QFD) adalah memiliki aspek-aspek quality, ergonomi yang lengkap yaitu efektif, nyaman, aman, sehat, dan efisien (ENASE). Keluhan muskuloskeletal karyawan Perkebunan mengalami penurunan sebesar  31,79%. Design Handle Wheelbarrow to Reduce Musculoskeletal Complaints Method Using Quality Function Deployment (QFD) in Oil Palm Plantation Bagan Jaya District, Indragiri Hilir, RiauAbstract. Wheelbarrow is one means of conveyance of material, namely a wheelbarrow, wheelbarrow initially a conveyance which is very useful for people who transport activity plantation crops or also goods buildings, etc., when seen from the definition wheelbarrow is a means of transport that is driven by hand , has 1 piece wheels, and driven by an operator through the handle. In line with this has been a lot of developments done on the system and methods of support to facilitate all those activities. One of these tools is the wheelbarrow transport meterial (wheelbarrow). Handcart or wheelbarrow to haul awalnyamerupakan a very useful tool for people to do activities or also the transportation of farm goods and other buildings, performed percentile calculation result obtained by rounding length of 29.02 cm to 30 cm. so long hendle ergonomic design based anthropometric oil palm plantation workers is 30 cm, calculated from the point of welding, wheelbarrow hendle diameter of 3.03 cm, and width hendle 9, 04 cm with rounding to 9 cm. Results of the study after the redesign Wheelbarrow based Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is to have the aspects of quality, ergonomics complete that is effective, convenient, safe, healthy, and efficient (ENASE). Musculoskeletal complaints plantation employees decreased by 31.79%.

Existing transportation systems have been extensively developed to serve a variety of needs. While most systems of agricultural product transportation are designed for multi-purpose functions, farming activities and agro-processing industries may need specific types of transportation. The main focus of this study was to find a design to fulfil customer transportation requirements for oil palm fresh fruit bunches (FFBs). Since more than 70% of Thai oil palm farmers operate at a small scale with an average oil palm plantation area of 3 to 5 ha, the challenge is not to further develop advanced technology to transport FFBs, but to develop a new design approach that fits the basic needs of farmers. Kano model, based on customer requirements for the oil palm FFB transportation processes, was integrated with quality function deployment method to identify significant design attributes and vehicle specification details. Three dimensions of cost structure—the economic monetary value, time required to complete each step, and product quality—were further considered to compare new transportation design with an existing one. The results verified that the proposed design showed a substantial potential to reduce the cost and processing time of transportation and to increase product quality. Quality function deployment (QFD) is a design method that can be used to improve the quality of products. A QFD application aimed at improving the ergonomic quality of pruning shears is presented. User needs for pruning shears, as well as the design aspects which have the greatest influence on the ergonomic quality of pruning shears were defined. This information was entered in the house of quality (HOQ), which is a QFD tool. The HOQ results are represented in the form of relative importance of design aspects. The results of HOQ and user interviews show that both the approaches give the most important design aspects that are same. QFD is considered a suitable method for the ergonomic design of hand tools. The QFD application provides valuable information in the design process for hand tools and it can be used in the decision-making process during the design of hand tools.

The aim of this paper is to describe the use of Quality Function Deployment - methodology in designing the ergonomic properties of pruning shears. Ergonomic design is an essential part of product design. To join ergonomic design successfully to the design process, it is necessary to follow good design tradition and to take into account the special characteristics of ergonomics. QFD is a planning tool which can be used to identify user requirements and to interprete these requirements into product characteristics. QFD can be used for improving ergonomics and usability of products, and it has also features similar to participatory ergonomics. Both methods and approaches tend to integrate the end-user into the design process. This application of QFD - methodology described in this paper is at the moment at the stage where it can be used as a design help when aiming for more ergonomic pruning shears. It is especially suited to the initial steps of the design process when the first concepts of a new pruning shears are being developed. This application does not give any new information for the technical design, but it gathers the existing knowledge together into a form in which it is easily available. This way available resources can be allocated for those tool characteristics where they might give the most promising results. This application can be used during the whole design process e.g. in the form of a checklist or to compare prototypes with products already on the market. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah peningkatan kualitas layanan konsumen CV. Sinar Jaya Agung dengan metode servqual dan quality function deployment dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi konsumen dengan metode servqual, untuk menentukan nilai gap servqual antara persepsi dan harapan konsumen, dan untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen dengan menggunakan metode quality function deployment. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi nilai customer satisfaction performancemaka semakin tinggi pula tingkat persepsi konsumen terhadap atribut oleh responden, nilai gap servqual diperoleh nilai tertinggi sebesar 0,35 pada atribut karyawan memiliki kompetensi dan profesional dalam melayani pelanggan. Dengan demikian dapat diartikan bahwa kualitas layanan konsumen yang diberikan sudah bisa dikatakan baik. Hasil pengujian quality function deployment menunjukkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen, maka perusahaan harus melakukan beberapa perbaikan, antara lain: lokasi perusahaan harus mudah dijangkau oleh konsumen, penyediaan checklist pembersihan, pemberian pelatihan rutin kepada karyawan, serta service yang baik dari karyawan pada konsumen.

Kelapa sawit merupakan salah satu tanaman meningkat paling pesat di dunia, dan mencakup lebih dari 13 juta ha di Asia Tenggara. Sumatera memiliki sejarah yang relatif panjang budidaya kelapa sawit komersial, dan banyak perkebunan telah menggantikan hutan hujan. Biasanya ini perkebunan monokultur mendukung spesies lebih sedikit daripada hutan, namun ada sangat sedikit informasi yang tersedia untuk kelelawar. Kami mencicipi kelelawar pemakan serangga di Sumatera Barat dalam perkebunan kelapa sawit matang di mana beberapa tutupan hutan dipertahankan di fragmen hutan di bukit-bukit dan di sepanjang sungai. Menggunakan total 180 kecapi perangkap malam kami dibandingkan dengan komunitas kelelawar dalam tiga jenis habitat: patch hutan, zona riparian dan perkebunan. Total kami ditangkap 1108 kelelawar yang mewakili 21 spesies dan 5 keluarga, dan mayoritas ini (dalam hal spesies dan kelimpahan) ditemukan di fragmen hutan. perkebunan kelapa sawit ditemukan menjadi habitat miskin untuk kelelawar - hanya empat orang dari dua spesies ditangkap. daerah pinggiran sungai didukung keanekaragaman menengah, dan mungkin penting sebagai koridor satwa liar antara fragmen hutan. Kata kunci : Biodiversitas, keleawar Microchiropteran

The aim of this study is to analyse the relationship between vegetation indices of Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and soil nutrient of oil palm plantation at Felcra Nasaruddin Bota in Perak for future sustainable environment. The satellite image was used and processed in the research. By Using NDVI, the vegetation index was obtained which varies from -1 to +1. Then, the soil sample and soil moisture analysis were carried in order to identify the nutrient values of Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K). A total of seven soil samples were acquired within the oil palm plantation area. A regression model was then made between physical condition of the oil palms and soil nutrients for determining the strength of the relationship. It is hoped that the risk map of oil palm healthiness can be produced for various applications which are related to agricultural plantation.
