IoT is an emerging technology nowadays and it has many applications in our day to day life. Through Internet of Things, millions of devices can be connected to the internet which can communicate each other by exchanging the data. For efficient transmission of packets, proper routing and scheduling alga- rhythms are required. Efficient routing and scheduling strategies ensure proper resource allocation in the network. Most of the IoT system uses the effective packet scheduling and routing concepts to enhance the performance of the network. This paper describes the concepts of various routing and scheduling protocols used in Internet of Things. Working of different protocols and its merits ands merry serial sodas sled in this art icle.

The Cost

With the recent rise in the cost of transactions on blockchain platforms, there is a need to explore other service models that may provide a more predictable cost to customers and end-users. We discuss the Contract Service Provider (CSP) model as a counterpart of the successful Internet Service Provider (ISP) model. Similar to the ISP business model based on peered routing-networks, the CSP business model is based on multiple CSP entities forming a CSP Community or group offering a contract service for specific types of virtual assets. We discuss the contract domain construct which encapsulates well-defined smart contract primitives, policies and contract-ledger. We offer a number of design principles borrowed from the design principles of the Internet architecture.

Since 2004 the term “Web 2.0” has generated a revolution on the World Wide Web and it has developed new ideas, services, application to improve and facilitate communications through the web. Technologies associated with the second-generation of the World Wide Web enable virtually anyone to share their data, documents, observations, and opinions on the Internet. The serious applications of Web 2.0 are sparse and this paper assesses its use in the context of applications, reflections, and collaborative spatial decision-making based on Web generations and in a particular Web 2.0.

The Information Technology (IT) has suffered many advances in recent years due to the development of new hardware and software solutions. These major changes have been noted in recent times in how we interact with applications and services in IT. Cloud computing provides services and applications over the Internet with the promise of infinite capacity and service models of “pay-as-you-go”. In this chapter we describe the main characteristics of Cloud computing, future expectations and analyzes the state of knowledge and implementation in Portuguese companies.
