A clear and insightful introduction to the world of business enterprise and the inner workings of the firm. It explores the role of entrepreneurs, consumers and businesses to understand how their roles affect the production and allocation of good and services and provides a solid base from which those new to the study of business can develop their own interests in relation to the most powerful economic and entrepreneurial forces shaping the world in which we live.

Recently, prospective direction of the combustion theory development is the preparation of fuel compositions and study of the composite fuels ignition characteristics, for example, in the form of emulsions and suspensions. Such fuels and their combustion processes are characterized by higher environmental, energy, economic, and operational properties. Of great interest is the use of gel fuels prepared by thickening emulsions and suspensions to the state of elastically deformable materials for the aerospace industry and thermal power engineering. Gel fuels have advantages over widespread liquid fuels in environmental and fire safety aspects of storage processes, transportation, and combustion.

Abstract ATI 425 was originally developed for hot-rolled armor plate to provide ballistic protection comparable to Ti-6Al-4V and has been evaluated against a variety of projectile threats for use as armor. While processing the alloy for armor plate applications, it was observed that the material exhibited very good hot workability, permitting a more lenient window of processing parameters than necessary for Ti-6Al-4V. Versatility then expanded, and applications now exist in the chemical process industry (CPI) and in the aerospace industry. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and fatigue. It also includes information on corrosion resistance. Filing Code: TI-133. Producer or source: ATI Wah Chang, Allegheny Technologies. Originally published March 2004, revised July 2004.
