In the article the authors analyze the essence of propaganda as a means of implementing ideological function of the state. It is noted that propaganda is a mechanism of spreading information persuasive influence in the interpretation and estimation of state power representatives. The structure of propaganda is determined: beneficiary of propaganda, subjects of propaganda, content of propaganda, channels of realization of propaganda, addressee of propaganda, feedback system. Types of propaganda are distinguished: political, axiological, educational, preventive. The authors come to the conclusion that the basic directions and the propaganda content are established in normative acts and the programs and organizational actions accepted according to them. Along with the implementation of propaganda, the ideological function is implemented by prohibiting or restricting propaganda or other dissemination of information that endangers the foundations of the constitutional order and is otherwise aimed at destabilizing the political situation in the State, as well as prohibiting the propaganda of ideas that may harm the foundations of morality and morality. The mass media are essential in carrying out propaganda. The State widely uses this resource on an equal footing with other actors to disseminate ideas of public importance and uses the services of various communication agencies. However, the state forms a legal framework for the mass media, their rights and limitations, which still determines the special position of the state in this process.

AbstractThere are many questions we can ask about time, but perhaps the most fundamental is whether there are metaphysically interesting differences between past, present and future events. An eternalist believes in a block universe: past, present and future events are all on an equal footing. A gradualist believes in a growing block: he agrees with the eternalist about the past and the present but not about the future. A presentist believes that what is present has a special status. My first claim is that the familiar ways of articulating these views result in there being no substantive disagreement at all between the three parties. I then show that if we accept the controversial truthmaking principle, we can articulate a substantive disagreement. Finally, I apply this way of formulating the debate to related questions such as the open future and determinism, showing that these do not always line up in quite the way one would expect.

With the help of the concepts ‘aura’ and ‘autopoiesis’, the relationship between poetry and natural phenomena can be defined as a ‘translation from nature’. Gennadij Ajgi translates his auratic manner of perceiving into poetry. For him, the poem becomes an epistemic medium transcending the sensory perception of nature for a hidden, spiritual level. Les Murray, conversely, demonstrates an autopoietic understanding of nature: The poet himself becomes the medium of the living being. Christian Lehnert takes up impulses from both orientations. He combines the opposing concepts so that they correspond to the hierarchical levels of his religious and metaphysical vision of the world. The three authors all aim to alter the attitude of humans towards nature through their ‘translation from nature into poetry’ so that humankind will open itself towards nature and raise it from an object which can be instrumentalised to an autonomous subject on equal footing with humanity itself.

Periyar’s Self-Respect Movement challenged the ideological hegemony of the Indian Independence struggle by demanding that equality between sexes and eradicating caste be put on an equal footing with national liberation. The author analyses a chapter in a novel written by Muvalur Ramamirthammal, a reformer from a devadasi community, who joined the Self-Respect Movement and became an ardent abolitionist of the devadasi system. In a dialogue between an ex-devadasi, who is represented as a Self-Respect activist, and a Brahmin man with Indian nationalist views, the former devadasi highlights the Self-Respect Movement’s definition of modern citizenship based on the principles of self-respect and dignity of all beginning with women. The article concludes by discussing the novel's wider connection to the Self-Respect Movement and why further research on both respectively is crucial.

A survey of the literature implies that neurotics are unable to compete on an equal footing with non-neurotics under normal working conditions. 12 Hypotheses relating to the relative effectiveness of neurotics versus non-neurotics in the work situation are formulated. Results indicate that neurotics are not significantly poorer workers than non-neurotics, except in respect of 3 of the 12 criteria used, i.e. reporting for duty late, sickness records, amenability to discipline. Conclusions are drawn that a fresh orientation to the problem of neurosis is necessary and that neurotic workers should be judged objectively on work ability and not on their personality shortcomings. Opsomming'n Oorsig van die literatuur dui daarop dat dit nie verwag kan word dat neurote op gelyke voet met ander werkers onder normale werksomstandighede kan meeding nie, en dus minder effektiewe werkers behoort te wees. 12 Hipoteses oor die relatiewe effektiwiteit van neurote en nie-neurote in die werksituasie is geformuleer en getoets. Daar word gevind dat neurote nie beduidend swakker werkers as nie-neurote is nie, behalwe ten opsigte van 3 van die 12 kriteria wat gebruik is, nl. ten opsigte van stiptelikheid, siekte rekord en dissiplinering. Die gevolgtrekking word gemaak dat 'n nuwe oriëntasie tot die probleem van neurose en die neuroot noodsaaklik is en dat neurotiese werkers objektief met betrekking tot werksvermoë beoordeel behoort te word en nie met betrekking tot persoonlikheidstekortkominge waar laasgenoemde nie ter sake is nie.

One of the most promising directions of solving the satisfying constantly growing problem of Ukrainians residents tourist, business and migration activity is the diversification of the rail transport activity in the international passenger transportation market. In the conducted studies, the analysis of possible variants of passenger transportation logistics from Eastern Ukraine (in particular from Kharkiv) to Krakow was made. For comparison, seven possible variants of transportation and a new project solution (direct passenger train Kharkiv - Kiev - Lviv - Mostiska II - Krakow with the perspective of continuation of the route to Prague or Vienna) is selected. Based on the SWOT analysis, as well as marketing and logistics research on project variants, it has been proved that the proposed direct rail rout between Kharkiv and Krakow can compete on an equal footing with existing variants of transport.

For the founders of Hasidism, its fundamental principle is a spiritual practice that ensures an unceasing connection between the believer and his Creator. This doctrine is not purely theological: it serves as a rationale behind the societal hierarchy proposed by the Hasidim. The leader, having achieved the highest point of unity with the Lord, sets a pattern to be followed by the community members in their relationship with him as the one who rules over them, thus justifying the all-encompassing power of the Tsaddiks. The paper discusses three basic concepts of God-man unity. The essence of the first is the perception of the believer as immersing himself in the deity and dissolving there like a water drop in an ocean. The other two envision the unity as a peculiar interpersonal communication. The paper argues that within the Hasidic doctrine all three concepts are on an equal footing and shows the principles of their coexistence.

We develop a new version of the superfield Hamiltonian quantization. The main new feature is that the BRST-BFV charge and the gauge fixing Fermion are introduced on equal footing within the sigma model approach, which provides for the actual use of the quantum/derived antibrackets. We study in detail the generating equations for the quantum antibrackets and their primed counterparts. We discuss the finite quantum anticanonical transformations generated by the quantum antibracket.
