Peculiarities of infringement of the vegetative status in children, suffered concussion of brain are revealed. Disintegration of activity of vegetative systems was displayed by suppression of ergotropic link, causing insufficient vegetative reaction and inadequate vegetative provision of activity. Interrelation of character of vegetative reaction with terms of remote period was observed. Influence of age of the children, character of medical history, degree of clinical compensation was shown.

Peculiarities of infringement of the vegetative status in children, having had concussion of a head brain are revealed. Infringements of vegetative systems activity was displayed by an oppression of eigotrops link, causing unsufficient vegetative reaction and inadequate vegetative maintenance of activity. Interrelation of character of vegetative reaction with terms of remote period was shown. Influence of age of the children, character of perynatal anamnes, degree of clinical indemnification were revealed.

In the process of ontogenesis, individual organs and systems mature gradually completing their development in different periods of life. This heterochrony of maturation determines the features of organism-functioning in children of different ages. However, the data in scientific literature do not reveal the features of the vegetative status of preschool children. Therefore, the goal of our work was to determine the level of vegetative homeostasis, which indicates the ratio of sympathetic (YANG) and parasympathetic (YIN) functional activity of the autonomic nervous system in preschool children. The methodology of functional-vegetative diagnostics (FVD) elaborated by Professor V. G. Makats (2016) allowed identifying acupunctural channels and discovered a previously unknown human functional-vegetative system. The diagnostic complex “BIOTEST-12M” (Diagnostic complexes VITA-01-M and computerized system VITA-01-Biotest) serves as the technical tool of the FVD. The specific dynamics of increasing systemic-functional stabilization indicates the formation of age-related mechanisms of functional-vegetative homeostasis and the peculiarities of physiological development of preschool children. We found 28.5% of the surveyed preschool children in the zone of vegetative equilibrium, and 50% have parasympathicotonia. The sympathetic orientation of the levels of vegetative equilibrium by the years of life of preschool children in the female group (FG) is identical and indicates the multi-directional activity of individual systemic complexes.

2 groups on 35 patients from 32 till 52 years which have transferred an easy fighting craniocerebral trauma. It is spent electroencephalographic (EEG) research, the computer analysis with definition of indexes of the basic rhythms, the vegetative status under the program of variability of a rhythm of heart is studied, functional classes (FC) on D.I. Zhemajtite are defined. At all patients changed types EEG prevailed. It is noted low FC at patients with I, II, V types ЭЭГ. Correlation of type EEG with level FC is revealed: at patients with V type EEG prevailed IV and V, with I and II types EEG — higher (II, III) FC. The high index of an alpha rhythm correlates with high II FC, and a beta rhythm with III FC. Decrease in adaptable mechanisms of vegetative regulation defines necessity of medicament correction.

This article discusses the construction of tasks used to elicit vocal responses from preschool children. Procedures to elicit valid and reliable responses are proposed, and a sample assessment protocol is presented.

Healthcare professionals require a thorough understanding of stuttering since they frequently play an important role in the identification and differential diagnosis of stuttering for preschool children. This paper introduces The Preschool Stuttering Screen for Healthcare Professionals (PSSHP) which highlights risk factors identified in the literature as being associated with persistent stuttering. By integrating the results of the checklist with a child’s developmental profile, healthcare professionals can make better-informed, evidence-based decisions for their patients.

Although a general limited availability of expository texts currently exists in preschool special education classrooms, expository texts offer speech-language pathologists (SLPs) a rich context for addressing the language goals of preschool children with language impairment on their caseloads. Thus, this article highlights the differences between expository and narrative texts and describes how SLPs might use expository texts for targeting preschool children's goals related to listening comprehension, vocabulary, and syntactic relationships.
