Several years ago, I published articles in Russian and German languages about the influence of music on humans and animals. Then, in 1897, I again published in Russian The Influence of Music on Man and Animals. In this 2nd edition there is a more detailed description of the structure of the auditory organ, the human larynx and the hearing aid of some animals; a few remarks about notation, about more well-known musical instruments, about the meaning of music in educational, medical and social relations.

As a result of the research, it was shown that complex treatment with the preparation of cytoflavin leads to an improvement in cerebral circulation and coronary blood flow, activates metabolic processes in the central nervous system, contributes to a more pronounced regression of neurological symptoms in the main group 2 to 3 times compared to the control group.

The present paper offers a subjective overview of approaches to affect. Research on affect accelerated in the last two decades within several disciplines, in response to different concerns and research questions, energized by new research in psychology and, more recently, neuroscience. But while affect studies scholars agree that emotions, amplified by the media, course through all social relations and electrify our entire bodies, scholars attracted to specific clusters of theories have little to say to each other. To remedy this situation, I attempt to bridge several seemingly incompatible strands of research on affects in psychology, cultural studies, and media studies, in order to bring out commonalities and patterns that may prove useful for reading literature and other cultural artifacts. Defining affects, I refer to the practice of tuning musical instruments to a specific pitch as an analogy for the way affects resonate from the macro to the micro levels of social life.

The purpose of this paper is to study the art of culture Banyumas oriented to the wider community by bringing up simple traditional musical instruments that have value and high quality. The combination of a musical instrument with other musical instruments make a variety of rhythmic harmonization. It is able to make art Kenthongan and Hadroh Bersholawat (Kenthosh) synergize each other. In this modern era the fastest thing faded eroded is a culture. Both culturally in terms of ethics, morals, social relations or art that is summed up in a tradition. Therefore, the reason the author chose the theme of culture as a means of Islamic propaganda is relevant because it is known that religion and culture is one element in the unity of complementary and memeiliki chemistry. Religion without culture is a void, and vice versa. The diversity and characteristic of a region is seen in the surrounding natural and human resources. This is what makes the collaboration between art Kenthongan and Hadroh Bersholawat (Kenthos) popular around the community and broad. Therefore, the author tries to interpret a student’s achievements as well as students in developing the science of lectures that have been in its presence to the surrounding community through kentongan and hadroh bersholawat in Islamic dakwah.

This chapter reviews evidence for relationships between acoustics and rock art by examining the antiquity and nature of such relationships, then examining evidence for music depicted or engraved in rock art. This is followed by a summary of the remains of actual musical instruments found at rock art sites, including lithophones found at or close to rock art. The sonority of rock art landscapes is then assessed, first in those cases where natural elements can unleash special sonorous effects and then in places where exceptional acoustics have been selected for the creation of artworks. The authors conclude that a consideration of sound is common in the placement of rock art and that it should therefore be more routinely considered when recording rock art. The significance of sound in social relations and religious activities makes this aspect of rock art sites essential for understanding the societies that produced it.

Abstract Some neurotropic enteroviruses hijack Trojan horse/raft commensal gut bacteria to render devastating biomimicking cryptic attacks on human/animal hosts. Such virus-microbe interactions manipulate hosts’ gut-brain axes with accompanying infection-cycle-optimizing central nervous system (CNS) disturbances, including severe neurodevelopmental, neuromotor, and neuropsychiatric conditions. Co-opted bacteria thus indirectly influence host health, development, behavior, and mind as possible “fair-weather-friend” symbionts, switching from commensal to context-dependent pathogen-like strategies benefiting gut-bacteria fitness.
