Introduction. The phenomenon of “tradition” is a key link in understanding the specifics of the current cultural processes. The problem of preserving and developing the ethnocultural tradition has acquired a new impetus for comprehension against the background of the emergence at the turn of the XX–XXI centuries of the so-called ethnic revival, the increased attention of peoples, including the Finno-Ugric ones to their own cultural and historical roots. This is facilitated by the strengthening of the integration of cultures within the Finno-Ugric community in the context of the formation of a new socio-cultural paradigm. Materials and Methods. The theoretical material of the study was the work of scholars in the field of studying the modern socio-cultural process, in particular on the example of the cultural heritage of the Finno-Ugric peoples. The reliability and research validity of the results is provided by the sociocultural approach, as well as by comparative and typological research methods. Results and Discussion. In the process of being an ethnocultural tradition in modern society, the process of festivization of the cultural process plays an important role, among other circumstances. It is characterized by the use of the phenomenon of ethnoculture as an external attribute, the functioning of which is reduced only to entertainment, creating the effect of festivity of the action, which leads to the devaluation of its value. However, the analysis of the new picture of the world that took shape at the turn of the XX–XXI centuries allows us to conclude that the idea of the integrity of the world, the understanding of space and time that underlie it, as well as the ecological and adaptive potential of the ethnocultural tradition remain consonant with the modern world, and this gives grounds for their preservation and development in the modern era. These conclusions fully apply to the cultural practice of the Finno-Ugric peoples at the present stage. Conclusion. On the basis of the studied material, a conclusion was made about the change in the functioning of the Finno-Ugric ethnocultural tradition in accordance with the objective conditions of its existence.

The article problematizes the characteristic of modern society as a Smart Society. As the evalua-tion criteria, the motives of human activity are suggested, which find their embodiment in the form of cultural objects. The consequence of the transformation of motives is presented by a change in cultural paradigm. The application of the term “paradigm” in relation to the phenomenon of culture allows focusing the attention on its components: axiological system to which the subjects of a particular cul-ture are oriented; algorithms of human behavior within the framework of culture and, accordingly, the prediction of his behavior; the formation of social mechanisms for typical problems solution. These elements of cultural paradigm present the criteria for the analysis of smart society. The analysis of various approaches to understanding the smart society allows concluding that the smart society pre-supposes continuous creation and development of new technologies, which accordingly requires continuous development and creation of knowledge, environment and infrastructure for its production and transmission. Thus, the author draws the conclusion that a smart-person is necessary for the functioning of the smart society. The comparison of philosophical concept of an intelligent person, formulated by Plato and modern social trends, makes it possible to distinguish the following characteristics of a smart per-son: a smart person makes smart decisions based on mathematical models and accurate calculations and competently uses smart devices. The formation of a smart-person is possible through an appropri-ate educational system which forms the appropriate characteristics and a cultural paradigm that trans-mits the corresponding axiological system. The contradictions within the smart paradigm are revealed: 1. Smart education aimed at the formation of open and responsible person finally creates only the skills of task performance, rather than problem statement of software products usage, without under-standing of the principles of their work; interaction with educational content, but not with a single person. 2. Absolute reliance on figures and statistical data leads to the leveling of the significance of hu-man being as imperfect against the background of the possibilities of accurate and rapid calculations and the error-free operations of artificial intelligence. The indicated contradictions are possible within axiological system formed by the smart para-digm: openness to perception of new components, continuous change, and elimination of emotional aspect. The condition for the existence of the presented values is the leveling of the transcendental component. In this context, the limitations of human existence are interpreted in a new perspective: a person is limited by his needs, which is an obstacle to economic growth; a person is limited to every-day life, as a result of which the process of self-determination is carried out only through the things and events that surround a person. This reduces the process of the formation of meanings to the pro-cess of continuous minor changes in material reality. A person does not become a goal for the world of smart technologies; he becomes a means of its existence. As a result, the conclusion is made that the actualization of human being within the framework of the smart paradigm requires the modification of some cultural landmarks, first of all, in the system of education, gender identity and religious affiliation.

The periodical press reflects modern reality, and the newspaper text becomes that integral element of modern society, which influences on social behavior, forms mass consciousness creates some myths and deconstructs the others. With the development of the Internet and the means of communication, the publicist text began to develop a new “environment”, gradually assimilating in the virtual space, creating a new phenomenon, a media text, which is of special interest for researchers. The headline in the publicist media text serves as an attraction that makes the recipient pay attention to the proposed publication, go over the hyperlink and create a motivation to get acquainted with the main material of the article. In this vein, special attention is paid to the use of artistic means-irony, language games, metaphors, allusions, etc., since in the context of publicist discourse they become the main style-building components and attractive triggers. In our study, we consider allusion as one of the key components of the headline of publicist media text, as it reflects the culture layer that is common to the addressee and the recipient, thereby marking a certain cultural paradigm that dominates the given society. Thus, the aim of our research is to analyze and systematize the basic principles of functioning of allusion in the headlines of publicist texts from the positions of media linguistics.

The development of the system paradigm in economic science leads to the formulation of a number of important questions to the political economy as one of the basic directions of economic theory. In this article, on the basis of system introspection, three questions are considered. The first is the relevance of the class approach to the structuring of the socio-economic space; the second is the feasibility of revising the notion of property in the modern world; the third is the validity of the notion of changing formations as the sequence of “slave-owning system — feudal system — capitalist system”. It is shown that in modern society the system approach to the structuring of socio-economic space is more relevant than the class one. Today the classical notion of “property” does not reflect the diversity of production and economic relations in society and should be replaced by the notion of “system property”, which provides a significant expansion of the concepts of “subject of property” and “object of property”. The change of social formations along with the linear component has a more influential cyclic constituent and obeys the system-wide cyclic regularity that reflects the four-cycle sequence of the dominance of one of the subsystems of the macrosystem: project, object, environment and process.

Freedom, autonomy and responsibility are the ends of every educational process, especially in the modern society: globalized, rapid, in transformation; society in which each one of us is called to make numerous choices. Therefore, it is urgent to educate to choose and educate to the choice, so that young people can emancipate themselves from possible conditionings. To this end, the Montessori method represents a privileged way: child is free to choose his own activity and learns "to do by himself" soon; the teacher prepares the environment and the materials that allow the student to satisfy the educational needs of each period of inner development. Then, Montessori gives importance to adolescence because it is during this period that grows the social man. Consequently, it is important to reform the secondary school in order to acquire the autonomy that each student will apply to the subsequent school grades and to all areas of life
