One of the important features of patients in chronic critical illness is their need for prosthetics of vital functions. The provision of specialized medical care to all patients in need is impossible without resolving the issues of transportation to a specialized medical center. Inter-hospital transportation of resuscitated patients is one of the tasks of the Federal Research and Clinical Center of Intensive Care Medicine and Rehabilitology. The greatest difficulty is the transportation of patients with unstable hemodynamics. The transportation service created in the Federal Research and Clinical Center of Intensive Care Medicine and Rehabilitology is engaged in the development of issues of safe transport, including this category of patients by attracting organizational resources, forming a specialized team and equipping it. Medical and diagnostic, additional assessment of the patients condition on the spot. This approach makes it possible to increase the efficiency of intensive care during transportation and to eliminate mortality in this category of patients during transportation. Our experience of inter- and intra-hospital transportation of resuscitation patients was widely discussed at conferences, congresses and today is used in the work of mobile resuscitation teams.

76.72% of patients admitted to the ICU of the Federal Research and Clinical Center of Intensive Care Medicine and Rehabilitology (FRCC ICMR) in a chronic critical condition (CCC) associated with various types of damage to the brain were diagnosed with decubitus ulcers (DU), or bedsores, of 3rd and/or 4th stage. 33.41% of them were planned to undergo invasive rehabilitation procedures (neurosurgical intervention) that cannot be done while the patient has DU. This report describes a complex technique used to treat a 4th-stage sacrum DU in a CCC patient that needed ventriculoperitoneal shunting. We have covered contraindications to the exclusively surgical DU closing and the successful and rapid healing of the 4th-stage sacrum DU after application of the treatment technique.

Primary retroperitoneal cysts are rare benign growths that are often random findings during diagnostic examinations or surgical treatment. The classification, etiology and clinical manifestations of retroperitoneal cysts are the subject of interdisciplinary debate. The most reliable test for their detection is ultrasound and computed tomography. Based on the available literature data, primary cysts of the retroperitoneal space are subject to complete removal within healthy tissues. We present a clinical case of intraoperative detection of a large-sized retroperitoneal cyst in a 42-year-old woman hospitalized in the gynecological department of the Federal Research and Clinical Center for Specialized Medical Care and Medical Technologies, Federal Medical and Biological Agency of the Russian Federation, for surgical treatment of uterine myoma. During the planned surgical treatment revealed the presence of cystic formation of large sizes in the right anterior pararenal space. The final diagnosis was made after a pathological examination. Histologically, the inner epithelial lining of the cystic formation contained multiple ciliary cells, forming papillary structures similar in some areas, with folds of the mucous membrane of the fallopian tube.

Reanimatology (the science of resuscitation) represents the science of critical illness, terminal and postresuscitation conditions, originated within the walls of the V. A. Negovsky Research Institute of General Rean-imatology, Federal Research and Clinical Center of Intensive Care Medicine and Rehabilitology, turns 85 years old on October 19, 2021. The article describes the model of complex rehabilitation of children treated for cancer, developed by specialists of the Research Clinical Rehabilitation Center "Russkoe Pole" Federal Research Clinical Center of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology named after D.Rogachev. Two areas of assistance have been proposed: a retrospective based on identifying potential health risks posed by anamnestic events and a prospective one that reflects the identification of relevant factors related to health and social functioning, the impact on these factors and the tracking of future effects. Methods batteries are described that allow studying and influencing different aspects of the health-related quality of life of patients: physical, psychological and social functioning, as well as an algorithm for directed diagnostics of toxic effects.
