Industry 4.0 is a term that was introduced by the German government at the time of the Hannover Fair in 2011 in relation to an initiative brought forward to support German industry in addressing future challenges. It refers to the 4th industrial revolution, in which disruptive digital technologies, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, virtual reality (VR), and artificial intelligence (AI), are exercising a notable impact on industrial production.Industry 4.0 takes the emphasis on digital technology of recent decades to a whole new level with the help of interconnectivity through the Internet of Things (IoT), real-time data access, and the introduction of cyber-physical systems. This paper focuses on the design of an educational module for higher education mechatronics students. Introducing Industry 4.0 into a mechatronics curriculum will reinforce the integration of student competences in flexible and rapid manufacturing. The module includes notions of machine learning and deep machine learning, which are essential in robotics and behavioral robotics and closely interact with control theory. The results of a pilot training activity in the field are also illustrated and discussed.

Industry 4.0 is a technology-driven manufacturing process that heavily relies on technologies, such as the internet of things (IoT), cloud computing, web services, and big real-time data. Industry 4.0 has significant potential if the challenges currently being faced by introducing these technologies are effectively addressed. Some of these challenges consist of deficiencies in terms of interoperability and standardization. Semantic Web technologies can provide useful solutions for several problems in this new industrial era, such as systems integration and consistency checks of data processing and equipment assemblies and connections. This paper discusses what contribution the Semantic Web can make to Industry 4.0.

In this study, the periodical differences of industrial revolutions, which is one of the effects of technological developments in the industrial field, and the last stage of it are mentioned. With the latest industrial revolution called Industry 4.0, machines work in harmony with technology at every stage of industrial areas. This period, known as Industry 4.0 or the fourth industrial revolution, refers to the system in which the latest production technologies, automation systems, and the technologies that make up this system exchange data with each other. In addition to the information technologies and automation systems used in Industry 3.0, industrial production has gained a whole new dimension with the use of the internet. With internet networks, machines, operators, and robots now work in harmony. At this point, the concept of internet of objects becomes important. Therefore, another focus of the study is the concept of internet of objects. There are some assumptions about the uses, benefits, and future status of the internet of things.

Industry 4.0 is being presented as the fourth industrial revolution in which intelligent machines, advanced sensors, and smart logistic networks and suppliers will be connected to the internet of things. Such an intelligent network would create a cyber-physical system that scan store all of the supply chain data in the cloud and allow access to these data through different devices connected to the internet. Thus, the factory of the future could be established. This project proposes the creation of a manufacturing cell at the shop floor level based on the concepts of Industry 4.0. The effects on production of industry 4.0 emerging with this mind is very important.  Therefore, the impacts in production of industry 4.0 are examined in this paper.

Introduction. Industry 4.0 is a concept that is considered a new phase in the Industrial Revolution, closely related to the application of information technologies and the digital transformation of manufacturing. The main purpose is to be created a more holistic and more connected ecosystem, focused on supply chain management in industrial companies. Implementation of solutions in Industry 4.0 is mostly related to the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT). Mass deployment of this type of technology in industrial enterprises is the basis of the so-called Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Achieving interoperability in the IIoT requires the combination of two technologies: the Internet of Things and the Internet of People. Aim and tasks. This article describes the implementation of the concept of the Internet of Things in industrial enterprises, as a key technology factor for developing Industry 4.0. Results. A brief overview of the evolution of industrial production - from the beginning of the Industrial Revolution to the emergence of Industry 4.0 is made. The main principles for implementing Industry 4.0 solutions ensure that the entire production process is computerized. Industry 4.0 solutions are mostly associated with the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT) whose definition and essence are obtained in this article. Based on the various concepts of the IoT are presented solutions that can be used in the industry, namely: in consumer devices in technology used in public organizations in infrastructure applications in industrial applications, also called the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Therefore, we can say that there is a significant potential for improving production processes as regards: optimization of operations, forecasting equipment support, inventory optimization, improving workers' security, shipping chain optimization, etc. Conclusions. The application of the Internet of Things in enterprises is an important and decisive step in the process of their digital transformation and transition to Industry 4.0. The interaction between humans and machines, carried out through Internet technologies, leads to the emergence of the Internet of Everything, which will be a basic concept in industrial production in the coming years. However, the role of man in the production process should not be completely eliminated, but solutions should be sought that support and intellectualize his work.

The last point reached in today's technology revolutions is the fourth level industrial revolution. This revolution is called Industry 4.0. Many new generation technologies such as the internet of things, artificial intelligence, internet services, augmented reality, smart objects, and business sector branches have been included in human life. Industry 4.0 technologies have an effective use in many areas of our lives. The tourism sector, which is in constant interaction with people, is also affected by these technological developments. For this reason, businesses should perceive the internet of things well and need to introduce various applications to their businesses to provide the best service to their potential customers. In this chapter, after giving information about the internet of things, cultural heritage, digital transformation practices in the tourism sector, and smart tourists are discussed.

Purpose of the study. The aim of the study is the formation of the modular architecture of an intelligent system for solving the problems of the Internet of things. For this, modern trends in the development of technologies are considered, among which the most significant, promising areas and events in the field of information technologies are highlighted. Among these areas, events highlighted: the introduction of Industry 4.0 technologies; use of cloud, fog computing; machine learning; cognitive approach in the field of artificial intelligence; development of cognitive computing. The main content of these areas is disclosed. In the context of the Internet of things, the modular architecture of an intelligent system is considered and its modules for solving tasks of purposeful behavior are described. As part of the development of the Internet of things, approaches to the management of innovative processes are considered. Emphasis is placed on the use of cognitive maps. With an increase in the volume of information, problems arise in making effective decisions. For this, intelligent systems focused on the use of conceptual representations and scripting concepts are considered.Materials and research methods. When solving problems within the framework of the Industry 4.0 concept (the Internet of things), new approaches and methods are required. System Industry 4.0 represents many technologies, including the creation of devices, sensors, and many protocols for their interaction. One of its main directions is the Internet of things, which represents a new step in improving the Internet. For the development of the Internet of things, fog computing is used that extends and complements cloud computing. One of the central places on the Internet of things is machine learning. A brief description of the basic methods of machine learning is given. The use of a cognitive approach in the context of understanding and using mechanisms that allow a person to decipher information about reality and organize it for comparisons, decision making and many new tasks that arise in everyday life is shown. The developing directions of cognitive computing are presented.Results. The modular architecture of an intelligent system for solving the problems of the Internet of things is proposed: modules of an intelligent system for solving the problems of the Internet of things using sensory images; intelligent system modules for solving the problems of the Internet of things using conceptual representations; intelligent system modules for solving the problems of the Internet of things using concept scenarios. Significant, promising areas and events in the field of information technology are presented and their main content is disclosed. Approaches to the management of innovative processes are considered.
