Purpose – The purpose of this case study is to examine the rationality for taking an enterprise approach towards metadata’s development. It outlined and discussed the benefits and challenges involved from both theoretical and practical perspectives. Methodology – The data for this case study is collected through a one on one interview method. The findings were discussed and analysed with other literature. Findings – Taking an enterprise wide approach towards the development of metadata offers both short-term and long-term benefits to the Ministry. In particular, the short-term benefits include efficiency in time to answer, re-use and re-purposing of existing information. The long-term benefits are the ability to operate at a strategic level with its data and information. On the other hand, the different level of understanding towards the concept of metadata at present, in addition to a lack of a clear guardianship from a data perspective has lead to challenges in gaining a level of active contribution and ongoing maintenance. This report suggested that it is essential for the Ministry to maintain a constant marketing style of communication to promote the understanding of the metadata and to incorporate the principle of data stewardship in managing the component of metadata mapping. Value – This case study provides value by explaining the concept and outlining the key benefits and issues involved to those organisations discovering the topic of metadata management for the first time. This case study adds additional value by offering rare insights into taking an enterprise approach towards the development of a business metadata, offering practical learning and suggestions for other organisations that are embarking on a similar journey.

The increasing of energy supply trend in Indonesia seems to be a serious problem in the implementation of sustainable development. This study case research aimed to determine the potential of energy efficiency in school environment. The subject of this research was SMA N 1 Ambarawa, located on Semarang Regency of Central Java, Indonesia. The data collection was done by used documentation, observation and interview method. The results showed that the average of electrical energy consumption in this school reached 11022.008 kWh/month, which resulted in the emergence of secondary emissions of CO2 by 9644.257 kg CO2/month. Overall, the consumption of electrical energy in this school was very efficient, with an Intensity of Energy Consumption (IEC) average 1.7957 kWh/m2/month. In this case, the implementation of short-term no cost, long-term no cost, middle-cost, short-term high cost and long-term high-cost recommendation could save electricity energy sequent by 3.159%; 7.536%; 9.499%; 35.278% - 36.626%; and 42.084%. In conclusion, the school environment had a big potential of energy efficiency that could reduce the energy consumption and CO2 gas emissions.

The Dark Triad of personality has gained much attention in the literature, while the lighter side of personality has not received comparable attention. This study aimed to examine how the Light Triad of personality traits (Faith in Humanity, Humanism, and Kantianism) differs between Tinder users, and how these personality traits are related to motivations to use Tinder for short- and long-term mating. Cross-sectional data from current Tinder users ( n = 130), past Tinder users ( n = 56), and people who have never used Tinder ( n = 121) were examined. The results revealed that compared to Tinder users, nonusers have higher scores on Kantianism, which might be related to Kantians not emphasizing attractiveness, a factor that has a role in online dating success. Further, Tinder users with higher total scores on the Light Triad were found to show higher motivation to use Tinder for long-term mating, whereas a significant relation was not found motivation to use Tinder for short-term mating. Long-term mating requires establishing a cooperative relationship with someone, and the motivation to use Tinder to find long-term mates may be due to the cooperation-promoting nature of the Light Triad.

To what extent are personality traits and sexual strategies linked? The literature does not provide a clear answer, as it is based on the Sociosexuality model, a one-dimensional model that fails to measure long-term mating (LTM). An improved two-dimensional model separately assesses long-term and short-term mating (STM; Jackson and Kirkpatrick, 2007 ). In this paper, we link this two-dimensional model to an array of personality traits (Big 5, Dark Triad, and Schizoid Personality). We collected data from different sources (targets and peers; Study 1), and from different nations (United States, Study 1; India, Study 2). We demonstrate for the first time that, above and beyond STM, LTM captures variation in personality.

The limited possibilities of understanding the inner reality of people with profound intellectual and multiple disabilities (PIMD) pose strong barriers for the development of a therapeutic relationship. Based on reflection on practice this contribution describes how music can be used for the realisation of continuous, attuned and harmoniously intertwined interactions that enable to gain deeper understanding of the person with PIMD and identify his/her positive personality traits. These reflections may be grounded in the theoretical framework of intersubjective communication. The author describes the role of music in both short-term and long-term interactions and discusses the benefits of music therapy for people with PIMD as well as for the interdisciplinary team support.

Abstract. Tinder is the leading online dating application. This study ( N = 271) explored the Dark Triad personality traits (i.e., Machiavellianism, narcissism, and psychopathy) and sociosexuality as correlates of Tinder use. The results revealed that Tinder users had higher scores on the Dark Triad traits and sociosexuality, compared to non-users. Also, Tinder users with higher scores on the Dark Triad traits and sociosexuality significantly showed greater motivation to use Tinder for short-term mating; however, there was no significant relation with Tinder use and motivation for long-term mating. This finding supports the idea that Tinder can be a new venue for people high on the Dark Triad to pursue their short-term mating strategies.

This study aimed to further investigate the perceived attractiveness of the Dark Triad (DT) personality in different types of relationships (i.e. friendship, short-term and long-term relationship) controlling for basic personality traits from the HEXACO model. The participants were 167 female students (M = 20.82 years, SD = 1.54) who rated personality and attractiveness of a man with highly expressed DT characteristics (n = 91) or a low-scoring DT character (n = 76) presented in a vignette. In line with recent findings, we observed a high negative correlation between the Honesty-Humility factor and DT personality (r = -.88, p < .001). As hypothesized, there was a significant difference in attractiveness ratings for the two characters in the context of different interpersonal relationships, with high DT character rated as significantly more attractive than the low DT character in the context of short-term mating. Furthermore, the hierarchical regression analysis showed that DT personality had a unique contribution in predicting attractiveness in the context of short-term relationship, after controlling for the basic personality traits.

Introduction Personality traits are stable and create an individuals’ behavior as well as allows to predict what kind of exercise type, intensity and frequency they might choose (Allen, Greenlees, & Jones, 2011). Involvement in physical activity can predict the dimension of such personality traits as extroversion and consciousness (Gallagher, Yancy, Denissen, Kühnel, & Voils, 2013). Research indicates that aerobic excercise promotes a healthy aging process as aerobic activity improves heart and respiratory system, by increasing the oxygen circulation as well as the heart and respiratory rate (WHO, 2009). The main objective of this study was to explore personality traits associate with long-term aerobic physical activity in seniors. Methods Participants were 26 adults, aged from 65 to 80 years (M = 72,65, SD = 4,8). The participants were divided into three groups based on the level of aerobic physical activity in their daily lives. In the first group we included seniors with regular long-term aerobic physical activity experience, in the second group we included seniors with short-term regular aerobic physical activity experience and in the third group we included seniors that do not engage in aerobic physical activity. The data were obtained with four questionnaires – „Latvian Personality questionnaire”(LPA-v3, Perepjolkina, Reņģe, 2013),a modified version of „Social Determinants of Health Behaviours” (FINBALT, 2014), „The International Physical Activity Questionnaire – modification for elderly „ (Hurting-Wennolof, Hagstromer, & Olsson, 2010) and Demographic Data questionnaire ( age, sex, native language). Participation in the study was voluntary and all patients signed Informed Consent Form before participating in the study. Results: Between the three groups significant differences in neurotism scale were observed (F = 4,624, P < 0,05). There were no significant correlations across all groups and the six personality dimensions. Conclusions: One of the main limitations of the study is the lunequal distribution of groups basd on gender. Another and possibly more significant limitation is the lack of more regular and vingorous exercise in the group with long-term aerobic physical activity experience, witch is higher in some of the participants with short-term experience. This creates a challlenge in creating objective physical activity groups.
