This article establishes and discusses a series of morphosyntactic features of the indefinite tot ‘whole, all’ in old Romanian, relating them to modern Romanian: forms that disappeared from the language, a wider variety of singular and plural genitive-dative markers (synthetic, analytic and mixed), the more permissive word order and the possibility to occur in a structure with an undetermined noun. The description of the grammatical characteristics of the quantifier tot highlights a great variation: (i) between the synthetic, analytic and mixed realization of the genitive-dative case (toatei all.F.SG.GEN≡DAT ‘of/to the whole’ + genitive-dative noun, a/la/de toată A/LA/DE all.F.SG.NOM≡ACC ‘of/to the whole’ + nominative-accusative noun, a toată A all.F.SG.NOM≡ACC ‘of/to the whole’ + genitive-dative noun); (ii) between the (pronominal and adjectival) form with the final particle –a and the one without –a (tuturor, tuturora ‘of all / to all’; tuturor oamenilor ‘of/to all the people’, tuturora fraților ‘of/to all the brothers’); (iii) between the postposition and anteposition of tot relative to certain pronouns (ei toți, toți ei ‘all of them’); (iv) between structures with a determined and an undetermined noun (toate zilele, toate zile ‘all the days’). The comparison with the modern language shows that, in some cases, this variation has been eliminated, and in other cases, it is preserved.

Starting from the cry of the seraphim in Isaiahʹ s prophecy, this article aims to follow the rhythm of the sacred harmony, transcending the symbols of the angelic world and of the divine names, to get to the face to face meeting between man and God, just as the seraphim, reflecting their existence, stand face to face. The finality of the sacred harmony is that, during the search for God inside the human being, He reveals Himself, which is the reason for the affirmation of “I Am that I Am.” Through its hypnotic cyclicality, the profane temporality has its own musicality. Its purpose is to incubate the unsuspected potencies of the beings “caught” in the material world. Due to the fact that it belongs to the aeonic time, the divine music will exceed in harmony the mechanical musicality of profane time, dilating and temporarily cancelling it. Isaiah is witness to such revelation offering access to the heavenly concert. He is witness to divine harmonies produced by two divine singers, whose musical history is presented in our article. The seraphim accompanied the chosen people after their exodus from Egypt. The cultic use of the trumpet is related to the characteristics and behaviour of the seraphim. The seraphic music does not belong to the Creator, but its lyrics speak about the presence of the Creator in two realities, a spiritual and a material one. Only the transcendence of the divine names that are sung/cried affirms a unique reality: God. The chant-cry is a divine invocation with a double aim. On the one hand, the angels and the people affirm God’s presence and call His name and, on the other, the Creator affirms His presence through the angels or in man, the one who is His image and His likeness. The divine music does not only create, it is also a means of communion, implementing the relation of man to God and, thus, God’s connection with man. It is a relation in which both filiation and paternity disappear inside the harmony of the mutual recognition produced by music, a reality much older than Adam’s language.

Abstract: The longstanding effort to develop a people-based regionalism in Southeast Asia has been shaped by an inherent tension between the liberal inclination to privilege the individual and the community under formation, on the one hand, and the realist insistence on the primacy of the state, on the other. This article explores the conditions and constraints affecting ASEAN’s progress in remaking Southeast Asia into a people-focused and caring community in three areas: disaster management, development, and democratization (understood here as human rights). Arguably, the persistent gap in Southeast Asia between aspiration and expectation is determined less by political ideology than by the pragmatic responses of ASEAN member states to the forces of nationalism and protectionism, as well as their respective sense of local and regional responsibility.Resumen: El esfuerzo histórico para desarrollar un regionalismo basado en las personas del sudeste de Asia ha estado marcado por una tensión fundamental entre la inclinación liberal de privilegiar el individuo y la comunidad y la insistencia realista sobre la primacía del estado. Este artículo explora las condiciones y limitaciones que afectan el progreso de la ASEAN en la reestructuración de Asia sudoriental en una comunidad centrada en el cuidado de las personas en: gestión de desastres, desarrollo y democratización (i.e., derechos humanos). La brecha persistente en el sudeste asiático entre la aspiración y la expectativa está determinada por las respuestas pragmáticas de los miembros de la ASEAN sometidos a las fuerzas del nacionalismo y proteccionismo, así como su respectivo sentido de responsabilidad local y regional.Résumé: L’effort historique pour développer un régionalisme fondé sur les peuples en Asie du Sud-Est a été marqué par une tension fondamentale entre l’inclination libérale qui privilégie, d’une part, l’individu et la communauté et, d’autre part, l’insistance réaliste sur la primauté de l’État. Cet article explore les conditions et les contraintes qui nuisent aux progrès de l’ANASE dans le cadre d’une refonte de l’Asie du Sud-Est en une communauté centrée et attentive aux peuples dans trois domaines : la gestion des désastres, le développement et la démocratisation (en référence aux droits humains). Le fossé persistant en Asie du Sud-Est entre les aspirations et les attentes est vraisemblablement moins déterminé par l’idéologie politique que par les réponses pragmatiques des États membres de l’ANASE soumis aux forces du nationalisme et du protectionnisme ainsi que par leur sens respectif de la responsabilité locale et régionale.

This chapter distinguishes between “vertical” and “horizontal” egalitarianism. The vertical and horizontal metaphors differentiate primarily between two types of relationship in which equality is said to play an important role—the “vertical” relationship between state and citizen, on the one hand, and the “horizontal” relationship between or among the people of a society, on the other. But the distinction may be used in a wider way to track several issues around which egalitarian theories tend to diverge: about what a commitment to equality ultimately means; about to whom or what egalitarian principles are meant to apply; about how equality is achieved and what its achievement looks like, and about how theorizing on equality is properly or most promisingly undertaken.

Most critiques of edificatory perfectionism concentrate on the detrimental effects that will be undergone by the people whose lives the edificatory perfectionists are seeking to improve. Chapter 6 shifts the focus to the officials who formulate and implement the policies that produce such effects. On the one hand, Rawlsians and other contractualists quite rightly demur at the disrespect that is shown by edificatory perfectionists toward the putative beneficiaries of the measures which the perfectionists advocate. On the other hand, the contractualists largely neglect to take account of the ways in which the edificatory-perfectionist measures degrade the whole system of governance wherein they occur. Chapter 6 highlights that degradingness as it draws attention to the quidnunc mentality that is evinced by the officials who adopt and administer the laws for which the edificatory perfectionists have called.

It will be suggested in this article that Slovene, a South Slavonic language, is on the way to acquiring verb-second (V2) word order. In providing evidence in support of this view I shall compare Slovene, on the one hand, with the closely related language Serbo-Croat and, on the other hand, with relevant details from the history of the Germanic languages. The point of comparing it with Serbo-Croat is to discover the respects in which the word order of these two languages has diverged. Taken together with what is known about the word order of Common Slavonic, the facts emerging from this comparison allow us to identify one major respect in which Slovene has changed and two respects in which it is still changing. At the same time, they reveal a major respect in which Serbo-Croat word order is also changing. The point of comparing Slovene with the Germanic languages is twofold. First, since all the present-day Germanic languages either have or have had V2 word order (Haiman, 1974), it is possible that their history can help us to understand the changes currently taking place in Slovene and to predict how Slovene might change in the future. Secondly, where details of the history of the Germanic languages are poorly understood, the possibility exists of gaining fresh insight into them in the light of the changes that have taken place more recently, or indeed are still taking place, in Slovene. In this connection we shall assess the plausibility of two theories concerning the adoption of V2 word order by the Germanic languages, those of Vennemann (1975) and Wackernagel (1892).

Sahih al-Bukhari is considered the most important hadith reference among Sunnis, and by this the importance of the study related to it appears, and the sahih has been of high standing throughout the ages. But in the modern era, he began to delve into it in terms to the inappropriateness of his hadiths in protest, and this scientific paper will monitor the features of contemporary readings by stating their methods, types, and derivation. The importance of the study: on the one hand the need to know these contemporary reading to monitor them and highlight their role in challenging the Sahih and the Sunnah in general. Methodology of the study: the paper relied on the inductive analytical method by collecting data and analyzing it according to the nature of the study. With the use of the deductive method by taking a comprehensive view of these contemporary readings. Problem the study: what are the most important contemporary readings of Sahih al-Bukhari as a stab and insult? What are types, methods, and derivation of these readings? What are the applied images outlined in the appeal against Sahih al- Bukhari? To answer this, it was necessary to develop five sections. Namely: the status of Sahih al-Bukhari among the people of hadith, the emergence of contemporary readings of Sahih al-Bukhari, the most important contemporary schools of contention in Sahih al-Bukhari, pictures of conclusion with findings and recommendations. The results of the paper are represented in the necessity to pay attention to all the sciences of the Sunnah, to intensify studies on Sahih al- Bukhari, and the call to establish a global scientific center to monitor and confront contemporary readings of the Sunnah.

В настоящей статье рассматривается проблема изучения музейной коллекции буддийского изобразительного искусства Калмыкии, а также сохранения художественного наследия в условиях глобализации культур. Автор ставит цель создать научно обоснованные информационные ресурсы на базе исследования музейных коллекций и экспонатов. Информация составляет суть музейного дела, в основе которого лежит научно-исследовательская деятельность, объединяющая сферы комплектования, учета и хранения фондов, с одной стороны, с другой коммуникативная, связанная с экспозиционно-выставочной деятельностью. Исходными в работе музея являются не только сохраняемый фонд, но и сведения об экспонатах, собираемые в процессе комплектования фонда и создания каталога музейного собрания, состоящего из коллекций. Основываясь на богатой традиции описания и каталогизации предметов искусства, а также применяя современные технологии и искусствоведческие методы, стало возможным подготовить и издать научный каталог коллекций основного фонда Музея традиционной культуры имени Зая-пандиты Калмыцкого научного центра РАН. This article discusses the problem of studying the museum collection of Buddhist fine art in Kalmykia, as well as preserving the artistic heritage in the context of globalization of cultures. The author aims to create scientifically based information resources that include research on museum collections and exhibits. Information is the essence of museum business, which is based on research activities that combine the fields of acquisition, accounting and storage of funds, on the one hand, and on the other hand, communicative activities related to exposition and exhibition activities. The initial work of the museum is not only the preserved fund, but also information about the exhibits collected in the process of acquiring the fund and creating a museum collection catalog consisting of collections. The Zaya-Pandita Museum of Traditional Culture of the Kalmyk Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences stores and presents in the educational sphere multidisciplinary and largely unique information about the cultural heritage of the people. Based on a rich tradition of describing and cataloging objects of art, as well as using modern technologies and art criticism methods, it has become possible to prepare and publish a scientific catalog of the collections of the main fund of the Zaya-Pandita Museum of Traditional Culture.

There are many ways of diagnosis in Ayurveda but one of them is Nidan panchak . Nidan panchak is the one of the most important method to diagnose disease, its causes and prognosis. Nidan panchak is consist of five sub types which are Nidan  (causes), Purvroop  (symptoms), Roop (signs), Upshaya  (examination methods) and Samprati  (pathogensis). The diagnosis of disease in Ayurveda is done by Prakriti of the patient. Prakriti of the patient depends on the Dosha  (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) Diagnosis of disease depends on Tridoshas which are Vata, Pitta, Kapha. By the imbalance of these Tridoshas disease occurs in the body. These imbalances in the body Doshas is due to lifestyle, diet and eating habits of the people. Diagnosis is the important component for the treatment of disease. In Ayurveda there are many techniques other than Nidan panchak which are used for the diagnosis of the disease they are Naadi pareeksha, Dashvidh pareeksha, Asthvidh pareeksha but in this article importance of Nidan panchak is explained.

Among the philosophical schools of ancient China, the Nung-chia ‘School of the Tillers’ is the one of which we know least. The surviving information has been assembled by Feng Yu-lan , who identifies it as the one school which reflects the aspirations of the peasants. He finds only one recognizable spokesman, Hsü Hsing, the teacher of ‘the words of Shen-nung’ who came with his followers to settle in the small state of T‘eng , probably about 315 B.C. A disciple named Ch‘en Hsiang visited Mencius, and we have a report of the conversation from the Confucian point of view. Ch‘en Hsiang says of the Duke of T‘eng:‘A worthy ruler feeds himself by ploughing side by side with the people, and rules while cooking his own meals. Now T‘eng on the contrary possesses granaries and treasuries, so the ruler is supporting himself by oppressing the people’.

Abstract In this paper, I discuss the attempt by all right-wing populist parties to create, on the one hand, the ‘real’ and ‘true’ people; and on the other, the ‘élites’ or ‘the establishment’ who are excluded from the true demos. Such divisions, as will be elaborated in detail, have emerged in many societies over centuries and decades. A brief example of the arbitrary construction of opposing groups illustrates the intricacies of such populist reasoning. Furthermore, I pose the question why such divisions resonate so well in many countries? I argue that – apart from a politics of fear (Wodak 2015) – much resentment is evoked which could be viewed as both accompanying as well as a reaction to the disenchantment with politics and the growing inequalities in globalized capitalist societies.
