The paper describes the concept of augmented reality. Based on literature analysis, the authors claim that augmented reality technology enriches human experiences with digital data. The introduction of augmented reality applications and services provides an opportunity to increase the realism of research, while also offering an enhanced emotional and cognitive experience. Therefore, it can be an effective tool for the organization of learning in schools, colleges and universities.Augmented reality technologies can be interesting as an object of study as well. To do this, scientists need to design, develop and test appropriate methodologies. This paper explores one of the components of such techniques. The authors analysed several platforms for creating augmented reality applications. Unity, Vuforia and 3d-Studio were chosen for the purpose of analysis. Using them, the authors developed a fragment of the content of education. It contains instructionsfor creating an augmented reality application. The paper contains the author’s account of the process of training future teachers of computer science at Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University (Ukraine). Based on the conducted study, the authors claim that students showed considerable interest in augmented reality technologies and the content of their training.

The classifications of pedagogical tasks are analyzed, and revealed the peculiarities of their use in the system of methodical training of future teachers. The methodical task in which the pedagogical situation in the plane of studying of a subject is modeled is allocated. The expediency of professional training of future computer science teachers with the use of educational and methodical tasks at all stages of higher education is substantiated, examples of such tasks are considered and the stages of their solution are generalized.

Studying pedagogical sciences for Computer Science subject nowadays does not meet with great interest of students in Slovakia. Education of young generation in this area is strongly affected by small number of well qualified teachers as well as lack of high-quality teaching materials resulting to deplorable knowledge of the pupils. The very same situation is also with preparation of future teachers. They have only limited possibilities of direct contact with pupils during their studies, what leads to weak experience of the future teachers and low motivation of the children for Computer Science subject. This contribution gives a positive example of extracurricular educative activity for pupils from lower-secondary schools, where students of Teaching of Computer Science program and Applied Informatics program were involved as lecturers or tutors. In this activity we used various motivational tools for teaching programming and Computer Science as well. The contribution describes our experience with these tools for programming, which we used in our extracurricular activity – so called “Informatics club” and also in the two primary schools and three secondary schools in the region of Banská Bystrica. Motivational devices, which were used are:  education board bbc micro:bit with accessories (IoT set, gamepad, micro:bit cars), didactic devices – robots (Airblock, mBot Ranger, Phiro Pro) and board game Scottie Go!.

The cognitive, developing, illustrative potential of three-dimensional computer graphics actualizes the training of future teachers in its technologies. The future teacher of computer science should be able to develop three-dimensional models and animations of the studied objects (phenomena and processes) in computer science, physics, mathematics and other academic disciplines, create copyright electronic educational resources with three-dimensional illustrations, apply augmented reality and 3D printing in professional activities. The article describes the features of teaching three-dimensional computer modeling and visualization of future informatics teachers, identified on the basis of an analysis of the training system for students studying in specialty 1–02 05 02 Physics and Informatics at the Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University. The main directions for improving the learning process of three-dimensional computer graphics of future informatics teachers are indicated. Questions on three-dimensional computer modeling and visualization will pass through the content line through the content of six academic disciplines («Computer graphics and multimedia», «Computational methods and computer modeling», «Programming Technologies and Algorithmization Methods», «Information Technologies in Education», «Methods teaching informatics» and «Architecture and software of computer systems»). This will ensure consistency in the introduction and study of concepts, the choice of forms and methods of teaching, the development of teaching and methodical support. For the implementation of interdisciplinarity, it is proposed to carry out practice-oriented interdisciplinary educational projects in the framework of the study of academic disciplines in three subject areas «Computer Science», «Physics» and «Mathematics». The development of a methodical system of interdisciplinary education will ensure the formation of readiness to teach three-dimensional graphics at the stage of general secondary education and to realize its didactic possibilities in organizing educational and research activities of students.

This article reviews the research of scientists on general information and intellectual competence and gives a definition of information and intellectual competence. The possibility of digitization of education for the formation of information and intellectual competence of future teachers of computer science was studied. The structure of the information and intellectual competence of the future teacher of computer science is theoretically substantiated and formulated. The information and intellectual competencies of students were determined by the criteria of knowledge, skills and potential and presented in tabular form. The sample questions to determine the information and intellectual competence of students are based on knowledge mobility, method flexibility and critical thinking. To perform the situational task, we divided the level of performance of students into informational, improvisational, heuristic, considered laboratory work at the information level, independent work of the student with the teacher at the improvisational level and independent work of the student at the heuristic level. A generalized algorithm for the formation of information and intellectual competencies of students in the context of digitalization of education has been developed.
