With the rapid development of multimedia technology and internet, video surveillance technology has been widely applied to various fields of people's daily life, and it is important to study the application of video surveillance in intelligent traffic . Object: The design is for traffic video monitoring, and the traffic lights can be controlled through the video processing technology. Studying the relevant information obtained from the traffic video, the traffic lights can be controlled. Step: First, use the improved frame difference method, which is called as finite difference method, to pick up moving vehicle. Then, remove the noise using dilation and corrosion algorithm, which belong to mathematical morphology operation. Finally, count the vehicle data using the virtual loop method, and return the traffic flow information which acts as reference information of traffic lights controlling.

The article presents the methods that allow to solve the problem of choosing the type, design and installation location of a control terrain feature (CTF) – a passive radio reflector for a passive location complex that implements the angle measuring-range-difference method. The CTF module must reflect the signal at angles from 0° to 180° (upper hemisphere). The rationale for choosing the CTF module and base geometry will allow receiving signals from jammers from any direction relative to the main receiving point

Original difference method based on three sequential frames is a common method in the moving objective detection. After the introduction of the original method, the formation cause of the internal cavity in vehicle region was analyzed. Then, an improved difference method based on three asymmetric frames, which were abstracted according to the judgment rule of optimal frame interval, has been proposed in this paper. The area of the moving vehicle region is assumed as the criterion to calculate the best frame interval. In the improved method, the best benchmark frame and the best auxiliary frame were firstly abstracted out and used to subtract the current frame separately. Subsequently, the two difference images were transformed to binary images separately. Lastly, the final moving vehicles were detected in the current frame after logical "and" operation was carried out between the two binary images. The experimental results showed that the improve difference method based on three asymmetric frames can effectively reduce the internal cavities in the vehicle region, comparing with the original one.

Based on the computer vision technology and the digital image processing technology, the video moving vehicle detection and tracking algorithm is made to be on research; with the base of each characters of the background difference method and the inter-frame difference method, a revised comprehensive difference method is used, and combined with the special traffic video background, a background updating method revised from Surrender Algorithm is proposed. The moving object tracking algorithm based on matching matrix is explained to focus on the problem of failure of tracking moving objects when each of them are kept out. The application of software demonstrates that the method cited in this paper proves to be right and feasible and meet the need of highway operation monitor.
