The article describes a methodological approach to monitoring and analyzing attacks of a highly qualified football team. The aim of the research is to develop a methodology for monitoring and analyzing attacks of highly qualified football teams, taking into account various models of the game tactics. Material and methodology. The competitive activity of the national football teams at the 2018 World Cup was studied. Research methodology: analysis and generalization of the literature sources, lesson observation, video analysis of competitive activities, methods of mathematical statistics. Results. A protocol for registration attacks of the football team has been developed. The estimated scale of penetrating attacks and playing off of standard positions of the football team is identified. A different correlation of positional and fast attacks of national football teams, which used different tactical models of the game, has been established. In one half: for the tactical model "A", positional attacks were 32.3±4.35 (61.8%), fast attacks – 20.0±1.78 (38.2%); for the tactical model "B" – positional attacks – 25.2±4.32 (52.7%), fast attacks – 22.6±4.32 (47.3%); for the tactical model "C" – positional attacks – 32.5±3.49 (67.7%), fast attacks – 15.5±3.96 (32.3%); for the tactical model "D" – positional attacks – 19.2±2.87 (41.9%), fast attacks – 26.6±2.87 (58.1%). At the 2018 world Cup, out of 169 goals, 111 (65.4%) were scored as a result of completing positional attacks, 35 (20.7%) – after playing off of the standard positions, and 23 (13.9%) – after implementing penalty kicks. Conclusions. Monitoring and analyzing the attacks of a football team allows managing persistently the competitive activities of football players both at the operational level during a single game and at the current level during a competitive tournament.

During the training process before the competition, the athlete often shows a high result similar to, and sometimes exceeding, his previously achieved record. However, in the conditions of the following competitive activity, especially in tough sports competition, there is a decrease in effectiveness. This circumstance is often explained by a poor shape of a sportsman. While a more correct objective indicator of the decrease in effectiveness during the competition, as many experts claim, is the psycho-pedagogical mobilisation unpreparedness of an athlete. The aim of this research was to mobilise the strong-willed qualities of highly qualified swimmers, which allow a sportsman to demonstrate his or her best or equal to previously achieved sporting results during important competitions, involving psychological and pedagogical methods. During the implementation of this goal, methods helping to form person’s strongwilled qualities were used, including psychological and pedagogical methods. The results were obtained. They positively characterize applied psychological and pedagogical methods, which effectiveness was proved by the higher level of record achievements shown by the overwhelming majority of participants in the pedagogical experiment during the competitive activities implementation, as well as in the moral and volitional state rise when overcoming the competitive distance. It has been shown that the use of psychological and pedagogical activities together with autotraining contributes to the formation of an internal mood, the state of assemblage and eagerness to achieve one’s best result.

At present, a significant amount of research has been performed to study the motor activity of football players in the conditions of competitions, as a result of which data on the nature and scope of players' actions both with and without the ball have been obtained. The article considers the structure of technical and tactical actions of qualified football players in competitive activities at the stage of preparation for higher achievements, taking into account the role of the game. The technical and tactical actions of football players in competitive activities are analyzed, taking into account the game role. The results of the study of the structure of technical and tactical actions of qualified football players at the stage of preparation for higher achievements in competitive activities, taking into account the role of the game allowed to establish a high level of performance of almost all techniques, largely due to team functions. It is determined that the maximum possible indicators at the stage of preparation for higher achievements are largely due to the course of natural age development. In the process of attacking actions, players use from 2 to 14 passes. Tactical combinations in 2-4 passes more often lead to taking the goal. As the number of passes increases, the effectiveness of the attacks decreases. Work on improving the relevant physical qualities can be effective only if the time coincides with purposeful intense training with the peak of age development of a certain quality. It is proved that at this stage it is necessary to gradually increase the level of general and special physical training of football players aged 19-20, taking into account individual characteristics and game role.

Professional football players, coaches, and researchers have discussed additional substitutions in football to reduce player load for a while. However, the effects of additional substitutions on the game have not yet been investigated in detail. The aim of this paper is to determine whether an additional substitution in (1) extra time and (2) regular time would be beneficial and would lead to (a) greater tactical influence of coaches on the match, (b) load reduction during one match, and (c) load reduction during one season. The methodological approach adopted includes two studies, both of which involve data analysis of substitution times (Study 1: n = 3060; Study 2: n = 1153) as well as a survey of football coaches (Study 1: n = 37; Study 2: n = 25). For assessing the effect of an additional substitution in regular time and in extra time, the substitutions made in the Bundesliga, U19-Bundesliga West, DFB-Cup, and 2018 World Cup were evaluated. The findings of this research clearly indicate the potential of an additional substitution by enabling almost 50% of additional load reduction in regular time and 27% in extra time. However, in practice, the findings showed the limits of an additional substitution in extra time on long-term load reduction.

Background and Study Aim. To determine the influence of the level of static balance on the competitive activity of athletes aged 17-21 in beach volleyball. Material and Methods. The study involved athletes aged 17-21 years, who play beach volleyball in the Kherson region. The research was focused on the main indicators: the total number of serves, passes, tactical strikes, blocks, and how the development of static balance affects the level of their performance. Results. Acrobatic exercises in training activities for special physical training positively contributed to the increase in the samples of Bondarevsky (p <0.05), Romberg (p <0.05) and Yarotsky (p <0.05). Samples with different nature of the work performed reflect different aspects of static equilibrium: samples of Bondarevsky and Yarotsky most reflect the nature of the work performed during the competitive activities of athletes; Romberg's test only partially corresponds to these indicators. Conclusions. The proposed methodological approach significantly affects the performance of competitive activities and is directly related to the quality of tactical strikes, high-level performance in defense and the number of serves. The results of the study indicate the difference in samples with different nature of the work. Overstrain of the vestibular centers can negatively affect the quality of tactical strikes in the attack and blocking.

Therefore, the purpose of this research is to determine the features of the organization and conduct of the process of sports selection and game orientation of Belgian football players. The Belgian Royal Football Association has created a well-thought-out and structured system of education, upbringing, training, improvement and development of playing opportunities for young footballers from the age of 6. The use of game and competitive methods of "nurturing" football talents is the basis of the Belgian theoretical and methodological approach. Simultaneously with the development of creative game potential, the emphasis is on the harmonious growth of football personalities. Clear structuring of training and competitive requirements - the basis of successful performances of the national teams of Belgium in the international arena. The success of the Belgian national football team in recent years is undeniable. The country of 11 million people with only 34 professional football clubs has managed to nurture the "golden football generation".

AbstractThis study aimed to analyse the influence of the FIFA Quality PRO certification of artificial turf pitches on the physical, physiological performance and muscle damage in soccer players. Fifteen healthy male players (21.2 ± 1.4 years; 178.2 ± 4.3 cm; 79.1 ± 8.3 kg) from a university football team were selected to participate in the research. Mechanical properties related to surface–player interaction were assessed on the two surfaces selected for this study. A randomized design was used and the players performed the Ball-sport Endurance and Sprint Test (BEAST90) on the different artificial turf fields. Average time of the 20 m sprints was longer on the FIFA Quality Pro surface than on the non-certified pitch (+ 0.13 s; p < 0.05; CI 95% − 0.01 to 0.27; ES: 0.305). The players’ perceived effort was higher in the first (+ 2.64; p < 0.05; CI 95% 0.92 to 4.35; ES: 1.421) and the second half (+ 1.35; p < 0.05; CI 95% − 0.02 to 2.72; ES: 0.637) of the test on the FIFA Quality Pro field. Comparative analysis between surfaces showed no significant differences in the time spent in each of the heart rate zones and higher concentrations of CK (+ 196.58; p > 0.05; CI 95% 66.54 to 326.61; ES: 1.645) were evidenced in the non-certified pitch surface. In response to a simulated match protocol, markers of post-exercise muscle damage may be reduced on accredited artificial turf fields. These insights can provide the opportunity to maximize the efficiency of training sessions and reduce the risk of injury during the season.
