Mandibular full-arch restoration is a good and successful treatment option for totally edentulous patients. In the past years, several studies have described the placement of 4 to 6 implants to restore this type of case; however, an option using 3 dental implants placed in strategic and specific positions could also be an alternative. Therefore, this case report describes a full-arch rehabilitation on 3 straight, immediately loaded implants after 8 years of follow-up. The restoration presented no biological or technical complications during this follow-up period, showing that an adequate treatment plan was able to allow good results using this treatment option.

Introduction: External cervical resorption (ECR) is a physiological or pathological event usually detected on radiographic examination, since there are no symptoms in its initial and intermediate phases. Objectives: This case is an important finding because the early detection of this lesion allowed an effective multidisciplinary approach to be carried out. Case Report: Radiography was taken in a 55-year-old male and revealed a radiolucent area on the distal surface of the permanent mandibular left first molar, suggesting ECR with impaired pulpal vitality. Based on the clinical and radiographic examinations, a multidisciplinary approach was established involving endodontic treatment, periodontal surgery and indirect restoration that provided an option for preserve the affected tooth. The early diagnosis of ECR was essential for the successful treatment in order to maintain the satisfactory function for five-year follow-up. Conclusion: Despite the procedures performed, the idiopathic etiology of the lesion contributed to the appearance of recurrences; however, monitoring and maintenance of the affected tooth proved to be important for the longevity of the treatment.

AbstractObjective:We report a case of lymphangioma circumscriptum of the tongue, a very rare site of occurrence, which was successfully managed with intralesional bleomycin therapy.Method:We present a case report and review of available literature regarding lymphangioma circumscriptum of the tongue and the role of bleomycin therapy.Results:The patient was a 19-year-old man with a long-standing lesion involving the tongue, who presented with spontaneous, episodic bleeding over the previous few months. A diagnosis of lymphangioma circumscriptum was established on biopsy. Intralesional bleomycin injection resulted in successful resolution, and the patient remained asymptomatic over more than one year's follow up.Conclusion:Lymphangioma circumscriptum is usually seen in the extremities and genitals. This case had a very rare site of occurrence, the tongue, and was successfully managed with conservative treatment, using intralesional bleomycin alone.

Introuduction: The prognosis of hepatoblastoma has changed since effective adjuvant chemotherapy had been introduced in 1980's. There is a general agreement that complete resection is the cornerstone of treatment for children with hepapatoblastoma and the only way for eventual cure. Case report: We describe a boy with relapsed hepatoblastoma presenting with elevated-fetoprotein (AFP) and no visible tumor by ultrasound and computed tomography (CT). The relapse was treated with chemotherapy. Second relapse occurred shortly after therapy was completed, but this time we waited for tumor mass to appear. Combined surgery and chemotherapy resulted in remission status with 48 months of follow up. Conclusion: Hepatoblastoma relapse without evidence of tumor is not unusual but its treatment remains controversial. Radiological investigations should be repeated until site of relapse is identified. Based on our experience it seems of no benefit to treat isolated elevation of AFP.

Background. Renal epithelioid angiomyolipoma is a rare tumour which involves kidneys in most cases. It is known for its aggressive behaviour as a significant number of cases have been associated with metastatic epithelioid angiomyolipoma. Usually, radical treatment with systemic therapy is recommended. Only a small number of cases of epithelioid angiomyolipomas have been reported with the standard treatment being radical or partial nephrectomy. We present a case report showing that partial nephrectomy can be a successful treatment option for renal epithelioid angiomyolipoma. This is the first case of this nature in Lithuania. Case presentation. In this case, a 40-year-old male with epithelioid angiomyolipoma of the left kidney is presented. In 2012, a cystic left renal mass 40 × 41 mm in size was diagnosed incidentally while performing ultrasound and later confirmed by MRI. Due to the size of the tumour and the possibility of renal cell carcinoma, surgery was scheduled. Left partial nephrectomy was performed successfully. Final pathology report came back with the diagnosis of renal epithelioid angiomyolipoma. The patient had yearly follow-up for six years by CT scan, and neither recurrence nor progression were observed. Conclusion. Early detection and diagnosis are crucial for treatment as the tumour tends to have malignancy potential. With early diagnosis, partial nephrectomy can be performed with yearly follow-up and no systemic treatment required.

This case report describes the successful treatment of a five year-old girl with phobic reactions to thunderstorms. Treatment consisted of six components: self-statements; positive reinforcement; peer modelling; exposure to a videotape of a weather report and exposure to an audiotape of storms; and, exposure to a school weather project. Ratings of the girl's behaviour were provided independently by the girl's mother and her teacher at pre- and post-treatment, and at a seven and twelve month follow-up. These ratings showed a decrease in fear behaviour at the end of treatment, and this decrease was maintained over the follow-up period.
