Capital structure is one of the central themes in corporate finance studies. In addition to the development of theories aimed at explaining how firms adjust and choose the financing sources of investments, a broad range of empirical research has also been developed to verify the behavior and determinants of the capital structure. Despite this interest in the subject, few studies have focused on the characteristics of this academic production, especially work on female participation. Thus, this paper aims to analyze the female participation in academic production on capital structure in Brazilian periodicals. The collection of articles that dealt with the theme of capital structure was done through the portals Portal Periódicos / Capes, SciELO and SPELL. The non-probabilistic sample, obtained from the search in the databases, comprised 195 articles, written by 412 authors from 97 different institutions, published by 66 journals. Through the bibliometric analysis of the characteristics of these articles, it was observed that the female participation is smaller than the male participation in the scientific production on capital structure in the research sample. The main findings of the research identified that only 29% of the authors of the articles are women; that historically female participation is lower than male participation; that authors prefer to produce their articles in partnership, the more authors there are in an article, the greater the presence of women in this article; the highest titers had a smaller contingent of female detainers; of the most productive authors, only three are women; female participation was higher than male participation in only two of the 11 most representative institutions; even in the geographical distribution, the male participation surpasses the female participation.

Abstract Background: Antimicrobial resistance is a serious public health problem that has become a global threat. Special attention should be given to polymyxins (polymyxin B and colistin) which, since their reintroduction into clinical practice, are considered "last resort" drugs. The objective of this study is to perform a bibliometric analysis of scientific research on polymyxin resistance. Methods: Scopus database was used to retrieve documents relevant to polymyxin resistance. At the beginning, all kinds of documents without year restrictions were included. Subsequently, the study period (2009-2018) was limited and analyzed using SciVal. Specifically, the 10 institutions and countries with the highest production, authors, journals, and most cited articles were analyzed. The growth of publications and citations was graphed, in addition to an analysis of the keywords using VOSviewer. Results: A total of 1,306 documents were retrieved (1947-2019). Original articles (76.95%) and letters to the editor (15.47%) were the most frequent types of documents. English was the predominant language with 1,270 documents (97.2%). In the period 2009-2018, there was a significant growth in publications (p-value < 0.001) retrieving 833 (64%) documents. The received citations were 23,974, with a peak in 2016 (8,033 citations). The United States and China lead the scientific production with 146 (17.5%) and 137 (16.4%) publications, respectively. University of Fribourg (Switzerland) was the most productive institution on the subject (44 documents), although University of Zhejiang (China) has caused the greatest impact (73.5 citations/article). Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy ranked first with 140 documents. Most of the documents were published in quartile 1 journals (82.7% and 69.1%, according to Scimago Journal & Country Rank and CiteScore, respectively). Conclusions: The number of documents on polymyxin resistance has increased significantly in the recent years. In the last few years alone, 64% of all documents have been published. The United States and China lead the scientific production. Greater efforts are still needed to tackle this global problem.

This study analyse the evolution and characteristics of scientific production on intervention programmes with gender violence perpetrators performed in Spain. The standard bibliometric indicators were applied to 148 studies identified. The greatest productivity is focused between 2008 and 2010 and the largest number of records corresponds to articles in specialised scientific journals. As far as authorship is concerned, an analysis of the number of studies per person indicates that the results obtained are only initially consistent with Lotka’s Law, that is, there are a majority of not very productive authors and a minority who publish frequently, but the data do not fit this law. An analysis of collaboration between authors enables us to determine the existence of one “Social Circle” or “Invisible College”, at least. Most of the records analysed focus on the description of one or several intervention programmes with men who abuse their partner. Results show that there are progressively more evidence based studies on batterers and their treatment.

Aim: Despite the increase in international research in art therapy, few studies have been developed with a bibliometric approach which describe the situation regarding this area of knowledge. Thus, the aim of this study is to describe and contextualize international scientific production in the visual arts modality in the context of artistic therapies, to offer a broader and more in-depth vision of the structure of this area of knowledge through of a bibliometric analysis of the publications indexed in the core collection of the Web of Science. Methods: This is a retrospective, exploratory and descriptive, cross-sectional study to analyze the bibliographic data retrieved from the databases of the core collection. The analysis parameters included the data corresponding to the production according to type of document, country, journal, and institution. In addition, the main lines of research were located and classified and the subject matter of the most cited articles in each of them was summarized. Four periods were selected, between 1994 and 2020, to facilitate the thematic analysis and offer an evolutionary perspective of art therapy research. Results: A total of 563 works were published, in 250 journals, in the 63 years between 1958, when the first document was published, and April 2021. The annual growth rate was 7.3% with a mean average of 8.7 publications per year, and 83.13% of the published works were articles. A total of 1,269 authors from 56 countries were counted. The mean number of citations per document was 5.6 and the mean number of citations per document and year was 0.6. The main research domains were psychology and/or rehabilitation and the highest production on this topic was concentrated in only three journals. In general, a high degree of variability was observed in the study topics and numerous theoretical and methodological articles. The most used visual arts modalities were in the main drawing, painting and photography. Conclusion: This work did not find previous existence of any bibliometric analysis on the international scientific production in art therapy. In general terms, there has been a substantial growth in the number of publications on the subject over the last decade. However, this research area does not appear to have peaked, but, on the contrary, is still growing and progressing despite its long history in clinical practice.

Palavras-chave produção científica; análise bibliométrica; coautorias; rede de colaboração científica; indicadores de análise de redes sociais; GT7Abstract The aim of the present research is to analyse Ancib’s scientific production in the workgroup GT7 named Production and Communication of Information in ST&I, between the years of 2003 and 2009, through bibliometric indicators, from which it is possible to indicate what is more important or significant within a scientific field or context, so as to therefore analyse trends, existing relations or processes. The bibliometric studies are an approach method for the analysis of science behaviour in a given field. More specifically, by means of production and connection indicators, it aims at revealing and portraying the most productive authors, the kind of authorship present in this group, the most recurrent themes, most productive institutions, and the collaborative network determined by the institutional coauthorships and their indicators, so as to map and visualize the main researchers and institutions of the present GT, within the period of time in question. The research procedure derived from studying the 94 research project results presented in the period, where the paper reference, summary and corresponding key words can be found. Analysis concerning the most productive authors, most recurrent themes, kinds of authorship and most productive institutions have been carried out from the variables under review. The collaborative network between the institutions was built using the Pajek software, and, with the help of the Ucinet software, indicators of degree centrality, betweeness centrality, and closeness centrality have been reached, besides the calculation of density. The results point to 11 researchers and 9 institutions as the most productive ones. The collaborative institutional network was shown to be fragile, presenting low density, and in general the participating institutions have presented low centrality indexes. As a conclusion, it has been observed that the themes focus, in general, on bibliometric analysis and their indicators, using regional and national data as their universe. Keywords scientific production; bibliometric analysis; co-authorships; scientific collaboration network; social network analysis indicators; GT7

Bibliometric analysis of 3105 publications retrieved from the Scopus database was conducted to evaluate bibliographic content of scientific output on social sciences in Vietnam, for the 2000–2019 period. Our main findings show that the number of publications on social sciences from Vietnam has increased significantly over the last two decades, and there was a spike in the scientific output for the recent three years when the number of publications accounted for 53.76% of the collection. The most productive authors came from a few public research institutes with strong resources as the top 10 institutions participated in 44.22% of the collection. Vietnamese scholars tend not to submit their works to high-ranking journals since five Q1 journals in the top 10 publishing journals published only 6.17% of the collection. For international collaboration, Australia and the United States ranked first and second based on the number of publications and citations. Other countries in top 10 mostly located in Europe and Asia. Research topics were diverse focusing on gender, poverty, HIV, higher education and sustainable development. We suggest that supporting policies and funding need to be provided to help Vietnamese scholars improve their works, and to boost their scientific production in the future.

Film tourism is a segment whose main motivation is to visit places linked to audiovisual production, mainly films produced for cinema and television series. It is an expanding segment all over the world that gains attention from the localities due to its possibilities of spreading the image of the city and improve economic benefits. Thus, both the creation of new tourism products related to the audiovisual productions that had the locality as scenery for the filming, as well as the implementation of strategies to capture new productions capable of attracting more visitors. In spite of the worldwide trend of growth of the sector, in Brazil there is still an institutional and scientific gap on the subject, which leads to a low utilization of the potential of cinematographic tourism in the national scenario. Based on the above considerations, this research seeks to understand the state of the art of film tourism in Brazil, based on the analysis of the national scientific production.
