With the increasingly serious environmental problems, how to achieve the sustainable development of environment and economic has become a widespread concern at home and abroad. Through the research and analysis of clean production and clean production evaluation index system of domestic and foreign, and according to statistical theory, the reasonable and effective sampling method was determined. By researching the printing equipment manufacture and equipment applied enterprise of domestic, the data contained printing equipment energy use, emissions and product characteristic was obtained. By using the method of expert advice and factor analysis, clean production evaluation indicators and index system was determined.

Strategic emerging industry development has important relations with national economic security and strategic changing. One of the most important national economic developments is training and developing strategic emerging industry. Tax revenue is very important to developing emerging industry, which cant be replaced by other measures. But, the emerging industry is obstructed by the national current tax policies. And some tax policies which used to encourage emerging industry also have shortages. In this paper, we have summarized developed countries tax policies which used to encourage strategic new-type industry efficiently. On the basis of analysis, we have concluded some proposals about constructing our countrys strategic new-type industry tax policies. And all the proposals are focused on such aspects as homegrown innovation, training market and absorbing talented people.

Since the late 1930s, gas turbine has begun to develop rapidly. To improve the economic and safety of gas turbine, new types were generated frequently by Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM). In this paper, a hybrid GRA-SVM prediction model is established to predict the main design parameters of new type gas turbines, based on the combination of Grey Relational Analysis (GRA) and Support Vector Machine (SVM). The parameters are classified into two types, system performance parameters reflecting market demands and technology development, and component performance parameters reflecting technology development and coupling connections. The regularity based on GRA determines the prediction order, then new type gas turbine parameters can be predicted with known system parameters. The model is verified by the application to SGT600. In this way, the evolution rule can be obtained with the development of gas turbine technology, and the improvement potential of several components can be predicted which will provide supports for overall performance design.

Drilling equipment is the key of oil and gas drilling development. Its manufacturing quality and service performance have important influence on oil and gas drilling development safety. The application of high strength grade steel plays an important role in improving drilling equipment manufacturing level and service performance. In this paper, the chemical composition, microstructure, tensile properties, impact properties and hardness of TMCP Q550D and Q-T Q550D high-strength low-alloy steel were tested and compared, and the application feasibility for drilling equipment manufacture was analyzed comprehensively. The experimental results show that the mechanical properties of Q550D by two different methods were obviously higher than the requirement of national standard. Q550D steel had excellent plasticity and toughness, which meets the requirement of drilling equipment manufacture. The main difference between different steel lied in their chemical composition and micro-structure. Carbon content of TMCP Q550D steel plate was lower than that of QT Q550D, and TMCP Q550 was mainly depend on TMCP technology and micro-alloy elements, whose micro-structure was mainly granular bainite. Q-T Q550D was mainly depend on Q-T technology, and its microstructure was tempered sorbite with obvious banded structure and slightly low toughness.

The offshore pilot test of Exxon’s Submerged Production System (SPS) has reached a successful conclusion. This pilot test encompassed the entire spectrum of SPS equipment, spanning from the well completion intervals to, but not including, common surface processing and storage facilities. Since the SPS is designed to meet all the life cycle needs of a subsea field, one of the objectives of the pilot test was to evaluate both the techniques and the equipment used to install, operate, and maintain a prototype version of the SPS. The equipment under test was designed for use in water depths up to 2000 ft, but with minor modifications it is capable of operating in significantly greater depths. Evaluation of pilot test results has shown that the deep water installation techniques are practicable and that the deep water maintenance machinery is competent to repair any failures likely to occur in an operating system. One of the most significant problems in conducting the pilot test was achieving adequate quality control during equipment manufacture. The test results have demonstrated that, with relatively minor modifications, the SPS is suitable for commercial application.

Cecil Court is a small pedestrian passageway in the London Borough of Westminster. Under its more famous name of Flicker Alley, it is also the mythic birthplace and romantic heart of the early British film industry. This essay sets aside romantic myths and adopts the economic theory,of agglomeration, using the film businesses moving in and out of Cecil Court as a case study to demonstrate the changing patterns within the industry. In doing so it charts the growth patterns and expansion of the British film industry from 1897 to 1911. It shows its development from its origins,in equipment manufacture, through to production and finally to rental and cinema building and outfitting, marking the transition from its small-scale artisan-led beginnings into a large and complex network of distinct but interlocking film businesses.

Utilizing the information recorded in the mid-tenth century Byzantine document known as De Ceremoniis, this paper will examine labour requirements for armament production in the context of a naval expedition to Crete launched by the Byzantines in AD 949. A series of interviews was conducted with experienced blacksmiths with the intention of exploring time requirements for equipment manufacture. The information provided by the De Ceremoniis, as well as that produced through the interviews, has allowed for the assessment of overall trends in the tenth century arms production industry, including labour investments, thematic and imperial production capabilities, and transportation logistics.
