The objective: to study the effect of immunocorrecting therapy on the state of blood lipid spectrum in pregnant with intrauterine infection. Patients and methods. The study involved examination of three groups of pregnant with viral, bacterial and mixed infection. Each of the groups was divided into 2 subgroups: with subsequent implementation of infection in newborns and without it. Control group included patients with physiological pregnancy. The pregnant received immunocorrecting therapy. Blood serum was assessed to determine the levels of total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), high, low and very low density lipoproteins (HDL, LDL, VLDL). Results. The study implied the assessment of the effect of the elaborated immunocorrecting complex on the state of blood lipid spectrum in pregnant with intrauterine infection. In the group of patients with viral infections, regardless of its subsequent implementation, the use of the developed therapeutic complex triggered activation of cholesterol metabolism and reduction of hypertriglyceridemia to normal TG content in blood. In patients with bacterial infection, regardless of its implementation, the performed treatment resulted in cholesterol metabolism normalization. In the subgroup with mixed infection in its implementation, the treatment neutralized triglyceridemia and normalized TG level. In the subgroup with mixed infection without its implementation, the treatment allowed to normalize the level of TG and VLDL and increase HDL. Conclusions. The use of the elaborated immunocorrecting therapy has a positive effect on the metabolism of lipids, which reflects the lipid profile of blood. The main effect of the treatment is the normalization of the levels of triglycerides in pregnant and their carriers VLDL, and this effect is manifested with all the variants of infection under investigation. The detected increase in the level of HDL is indicative of an increase in the reverse transport of cholesterol and activation of its metabolism. This allows us to consider that the use of this therapeutic complex stimulates compensatory metabolic processes in the body of pregnant women, despite the presence of infection. Key words: intrauterine infection, lipid spectrum, immunocorrecting therapy.

Background:Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is the most common pathology from the group of systemic diseases of the connective tissue. Currently, the problem of deadly complications in patients with SLE is progressively shifting towards vascular catastrophes, such as strokes and heart attacks. If a few years ago, patients mainly died at a young age from renal failure as a complication of lupus nephritis, now thromboses of various localization are in first place. Objectives:The purpose of the study was to determine the state of lipid peroxidation and antioxidant protection, the main indicators of the lipid spectrum and the state of hemostasis in children with SLE.Methods:25 children with SLE and 20 healthy children were examined in the rheumatology department of the 4th city children’s clinical hospital in Minsk. The lipid spectrum, lipid peroxidation (LPO) and serum ACL, ACW were determined in the Central Research Laboratory of the Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. Results:In children with SLE a significant increase in the content of total cholesterol (5.56±0.36 mmol/l) and a decrease in HDL-cholesterol levels (0.94±0.18 mmol/l) were found in comparison with the control group (3.71±0 69 mmol/L and 1.29±0.33 mmol/l, respectively).A significant (p <0.05) decrease in the concentration of ApoA (85.1 [59.8; 94.9] mg/dl), ApoE (2.1 [1.2; 3, 7] mg/dl) and an increase in ApoB (59.8 [51.9; 67.8] mg/dl) in children with SLE were found compared with the control group (127.2 [122.1; 132.3] mg/dl, 3, 2 [2.3; 5.9] mg/dl and 32.1 [19.9; 50.8] mg/dl, respectively). ApoB / ApoA> 1 was established in 7 (28%) children with SLE.The study found a significant (p <0.05) increase in the level of intermediate (DK233, DK278) and final (MDA) LPO products in the blood serum of children with SLE in comparison with the control group, which indicates the activation of LPO processes in these patients. During the correlation analysis, a positive correlation was established between the levels of DK233, DK278 in blood serum and CRP (rs= 0.87, p <0.001). When studying the main indicators of the blood lipid spectrum in children with SLE, a significant increase in the serum concentration of total lipids (p <0.01) and triglycerides (p <0.001) was revealed when compared with the control group. When determining indicators of coagulation hemostasis, in children with SLE, a predominance of hypercoagulation was detected, accompanied by a significant increase in serum fibrinogen level (5.08 ± 0.14 g/l) and an increase in platelet level (479.57 ± 8.01*109/l) in peripheral blood compared with the control group (3.24 ± 0.07 g / l and 294.23 ± 5.39*109/l, respectively). These indicators correlated with serum CRP concentration (rS = 0.62; p <0.01) and ESR level (rs= 0.73; p <0.01). A relationship was established between elevated serum levels of fibrinogen and disease activity indicators (rs=0.74; p <0.01).Conclusion:The atherogenic orientation of the blood lipid spectrum, characterized by hyperlipidemia, hypertriglyceridemia, hypercholesterolemia and dyslipoproteinemia in the form of a decrease in HDL-cholesterol and an increase in LDL-cholesterol, as well as an increase in ApoB/ApoA ratio> 1 and a decrease in ApoE, the activation of LPO processes and a significant decrease in ACW and ACL in the serum of children with SLE are cardiovascular events risk factors (pulmonary thromboembolism, myocardial infarction and brain).Acknowledgments:This study would not have been possible without the collaboration of numerous Belarusian pediatric rheumatologists, patients and their parents.Disclosure of Interests:None declared

Summary. The disbalanced feeding and the uneven distribution of micro- and macroelements in the environment leads to a trace element, in particular hypomelanosis. To accelerate the growth and preservation of young farm animals include in the diet of various biological additives and drugs, which include selenium. For stimulation of weight gain in the livestock industry, as well as for the prevention and treatment of pathological processes in addition to micro - and macrouse amino acids, primarily methionine. The aim of this work was to study the influence of composition of DAFS-25+Polizon on morpho-biochemical parameters of blood and functional state of the liver in fattening bulls of black-motley breed in the conditions of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Experiments using were conducted on bull-calves of black-motley breed of the properties in the properties age from 6 to 15 months. The first experimental group during the experiment was additionally given the composition of DAFS-25+Polizon at a dose of 2 mg/kg, the animals of the control group received a standard diet. To assess the impact of the composition DAFS-25+Polizon on metabolism cattle studied morphological and biochemical indicators of blood and conducted histological examination of the liver. It is established that the use of the composition of DAFS-25+Polizon at a dose of 2 mg/kg increases the number of erythrocytes and hemoglobin in the experimental group and reduces the amount of white blood cells. The serum content of total protein, phosphorus and calcium increases in the group of experimental animals. Microscopic examination of the liver revealed no changes in the structure of the organ and hepatocytes in the experimental group, whereas in the control group hemodynamic disorders and dystrophic changes in liver cells were observed. Thus, the use of the composition DAFS-25+Polizon at a dose of 2 mg/kg of live weight in fattening bulls black-and-white breed contributes to the increase of redox processes in the body, stimulation of metabolism, prevent the development of liver disorders of cellular mechanisms of metabolism, optimizes the structure of the liver, which generally provides higher productivity.

AbstractObjectivesTo assess the state of phospholipid bilayer of red blood cells (RBCs) in rats orally exposed to gadolinium orthovanadate GdVO4:Eu3+ nanoparticles (VNPs) during two weeks using fluorescent probes − ortho-hydroxy derivatives of 2,5-diaryl-1,3-oxazole.MethodsSteady-state fluorescence spectroscopy: a study by the environment-sensitive fluorescent probes − 2-(2′-OH-phenyl)-5-phenyl-1,3-oxazole (probe O1O) and 2-(2′-OH-phenyl)-phenanthro[9,10]-1,3-oxazole (probe PH7).ResultsNo significant changes are detected in the spectra of the fluorescent probes bound to the RBCs from the rats orally exposed to nanoparticles in comparison with the corresponding spectra of the probes bound to the cells from the control group of animals. This indicates that, in case of the rats orally exposed to nanoparticles, no noticeable changes in physico-chemical properties (i.e., in the polarity and the proton-donor ability) are observed in the lipid membranes of RBCs in the region, where the probes locate.ConclusionsNo changes in the physical and chemical properties of the erythrocyte membranes are detected in the region from glycerol backbones of phospholipids to the center of the phospholipid bilayer in the rats orally exposed to VNPs during 2 weeks.

69 young men with obesity manifesting at puberty have been examined. The average age was 19,22±0,26. 17 healthy young men, whose average age was 22 ± 0,72 years old, constituted a control group. The examined were divided according to their blood pressure (BP): the first subgroup included 36 young men with normal blood pressure, the other subgroup included 33 young men with arterial hypertension. Levels of blood lipid spectrum, levels of leptin, resistin, adiponectin, insulin in serum, urinary metanephrine excretion were measured. We obtained the following results: young men with obesity identified atherogenic changes in lipid metabolism, insulin resistance and compensatory hyperinsulinemia. Regardless of the level of blood pressure they showed a significant increase in leptin levels. In the subgroup of patients with hypertension we found increased urinary excretion of metanephrine, indicating increased activity of the sympathoadrenal system and its involvement in the formation of hypertension. The level of adiponectin in the surveyed tended to decrease, more pronounced in the combination of obesity and hypertension.

The study of the problem of water exchange and issues of the pathogenesis of edema (Starling, Krog, Beilis, Schade, Gover, Shabanier, Kilin, etc.) made it possible to establish the colossal significance in the pathogenesis of nephrosis of a number of factors associated with the state of the body's proteins. To one degree or another, depletion of blood plasma proteins, sharp changes in the ratio of protein fractions with a shift towards the coarse-dispersed phase (globulins), an increase in the hydrophilicity of tissue colloids (McClure and Aldrich test) characterize pathological shifts in the protein economy of the body. The osmotic pressure of nephrotic plasma proteins drops sharply due to an increase in osmotically much less active globulins and fibrinogen (Schade, Shabanier, Gover, Kilin, Malkin, etc.). This decrease can in some cases reach a value of 10-14 cm of water column in comparison with the normal value of 30-40 cm (Gover, Golikov). According to modern views, these violations of the protein constant due to changes in the salt balance, in the state of permeability of the capillary wall and the state of tissue colloids are a common cause of the hydropic state of the body. Along with the violation of protein metabolism, changes in the state of lipoid-cholesterol metabolism occur in the body with nephrosis. The absence of contraindications for giving nephrotic protein is well known.

Abstract Heat stress continues to be a challenge for feedlot producers, forcing physiological adaptations in beef cattle that can have a negative impact on gain and carcass quality. Feedlots may want to incorporate systems that aid in mitigating heat stress, including sprinkler systems, which are commonly found on dairies. The objective of this study was to determine the impact of sprinkler systems on the body temperature of growing feedlot steers applied at three different temperature thresholds. Thirty-two Angus-cross beef steers (298 ± 15 SD days of age) were randomly assigned to 8 pens. Treatments were assigned to pens according to location to avoid drainage issues, with one replicate located on the eastern side of the feedlot and the other replicate located on the western side. Treatments including no sprinklers (C), high temperature threshold sprinklers (HT), moderate temperature threshold sprinklers (MT) or low temperature threshold sprinklers (LT). Sprinklers (flow rate: 5.11 L/min) were activated at 33°C (HT), 28°C (MT), and 23°C (LT) for five minutes at corresponding temperatures every thirty minutes for 57 days. Rectal temperature of steers in their pens was measured in the morning (0800 h), afternoon (1500 h), and evening (1900 h) three days each week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) for a total of 19 experimental days. Weather measurements, including ambient temperature, windspeed, humidity and solar radiation were recorded at each measurement time along with the maximum values for each day. The change in body temperature (ΔBT) between the morning and afternoon was affected by ambient temperature (P < 0.01); MT (P = 0.02) and LT (P = 0.02) – different than C. There was no significant difference between sprinkler treatments and the control group (P > 0.05). Day affected (ΔBT) between the morning and afternoon (P < 0.05) and the afternoon and evening (P < 0.05). When averaged by day, the control group was significantly higher than MT (P = 0.04) between the morning and afternoon. The control group was also significantly higher than LT between the morning and afternoon (P = 0.03) and the afternoon and evening (P < 0.01). The change in steer body temperature between afternoon and morning was affected by ambient temperature, and averaged across days, lowering the temperature threshold for sprinkling decreased in the afternoon and evening body temperature increase in steers.

The purpose of study was to assess the efficacy of a 16-week Baduanjin qigong training intervention in promoting physical fitness and health for adults. An experimental design was adopted, and subjects were assigned randomly into an experimental group (n=55) and a control group (n=55). In the intervention group comprised of adults, there were no significant variations in blood glucose, blood lipid, blood pressure, heart rate variability, and vital capacity indices. The body weight and body mass index (BMI) dropped in the intervention group. Compared with the control group, the skinfold thicknesses decreased at lower corner of scapula, triceps brachii, and abdomen, with a statistical significance (P<0.001;P=0.005;P=0.003). By comparing the physical fitness indices, it was found that the increase of the results of sit-and-reach test in the intervention group had statistical significance (P=0.001). In conclusion, it was found by our trial that Baduanjin exercise could significantly improve the physical flexibility and subcutaneous adipose accumulation in the healthy adults.

Due to the impact of adverse environmental factors, unsatisfactory conditions of pig population, deterioration of food supply, abuse of antibiotics, lack of preventive measures, leads to the development of diseases among pigs, especially young, which leads to a decrease in resistance, body performance, reproduction and reduction of livestock, as well as large economic losses. The use of bacterial preparations from living microorganisms can significantly reduce or even eliminate the use of antibiotics and hormones in the cultivation of healthy animals, to obtain high-quality and safe high-grade products. The aim of the work is to study the effect of probiotic EM – 1 on the physiological state and productivity of young pigs of large white breed. The experiment was conducted on two groups (6 heads each) of animals-analogues, starting from 60 days of age, for 2 months. Animals of the control group received feed produced in the farm. Piglets of the experimental group in addition to the main diet received 5% of feed fermented with em-1. Evaluation of the physiological state and productivity of young pigs was carried out on 60, 90 and 120 days of experience according to the methods adopted in clinical practice. Hygienic, hematological, biochemical, zootechnical and statistical methods of research were used in the performance of the work. The use of probiotic EM-1 in animals of the experimental group led to an increase in hemoglobine concentration by 7.7%, an increase in the number of red blood cells by 13.7%, the total number of leukocytes by 9.52%, and glucose concentration by 11.4%. The advantage of the viability of these pigs for the content of total protein (P < 0.05), γ–globulins by 18.6%, the activity of aminotransferases (AlАT, AsAT; P < 0.05), the average daily gain increased by 12.3% at the end of the experiment. For feeding piglets feed with probiotic EM-1 increased metabolic processes, resistance and productivity of the body, which indicates a higher level of redox reactions in their body.

The article presents the results of clinical examination of periodontal tissues in adolescents against the background of alimentary-constitutional obesity. The aim of the study – to investigate the features of the course of diseases of the periodontal tissue according to clinical indices in persons with alimentary-constitutional obesity.Materials and Methods. As a result of the survey, 95 adolescents aged 16–18 years old were included to study the features of the course of infl ammatory diseases of periodontal tissues in adolescents with alimentary-constitutional obesity 76 adolescents and 19 adolescents with harmonious physical development. To clarify the diagnosis, «excessive body weight» was determined by weight and height of the patient, and measured the circumference of the waist and hips. In the future, the body mass index (BMI) was calculated as the ratio of body weight in kg to square of growth in m2. Diagnosis of excess body weight was confi rmed with BMI less than 30kg/m2. The evaluation of the condition of periodontal tissues was carried out according to subjective and objective criteria (clinical parameters, index score). For the verifi cation of the pathological process in the periodontium, the classifi cation of M. F. Danilevskyi (1994) was used. The state of periodontal tissues was described using a traditional index score. Statistical processing of the results was carried out using commonly used methods of variation statistics with a help of personal computer using a statistical software package «Statistica 8.0» («Statsoft», USA). The probability level was estimated at 95 % (p<0.05) using Student’s t criterion.Conclusions. Consequently, the clinical indicators of the state of periodontal tissues in the context of alimentaryconstitutional obesity (Fedorov-Volodkin’s index, Green-Vermillion index, Sillness-Loe index, CPITN index) signifi cantly deteriorate compared with the corresponding indicators in the control group of adolescents without AKO, indicating the effect of alimentary-constitutional obesity on the clinical course, the severity and severity of theinfl ammatory process and the feasibility of timely and effective pharmacotherapy.
