A Lens-Free and Mirror-Free Fiber Integrated Optical Magnetic Field Sensor Using Bi-Substituted Garnet

AbstractWe have developed a novel lens-free and mirror-free fiber integrated optical magnetic field sensor. The use of a bent optical fiber and chip optical components allows easy assembly with no alignment. The linearity error and temperature dependence of the sensitivity of this sensor were less than ±1% and +2%, respectively.
