AbstractThe well-known 0.15-eV Hall-effect center appearing in bulk, n-type GaAs quenches under IR illumination and recovers via an Auger-like process at a rate similar to the Auger rate of EL2. On the other hand, the 0.15-eV VAs-related center produced by 1-MeV electron irradiation does not quench at all. Based on these data and a detailed theoretical analysis by Baraff and Schluter, we argue that the bulk 0.15-eV center is related to the AsGa-VAs defect or a related complex.

The article reveals the conceptual, meaning-forming role of the categories of the unconditional and conditional in law. At the same time, their dialectical relationship with each other and with other categories is put in the center of attention. The dialectic of the unconditional and conditional is revealed by achieving the unity of the three stages of theoretical analysis, which allows us to present the unconditional and conditional, on the one hand, as the content of all concepts, through which the idea of law is generally expressed in various aspects and elements; on the other hand, the entire set of categories subject to dialectical analysis appears as elements of the content of the unconditional and conditional as semantic units that Express the universal characteristics of law in its features, isolation from other forms of social life.

This paper  describes the importance of the raw materials Inventory supervision for production process. The concepts described in this paper was studied using the descriptive theoretical analysis. It is concluded that (1)  Raw Materials Inventory control is highly needed by both small and big companies to take care of the production process stabilization; (2) The production process will find problems when there is no good control of the Inventory. This causes anstable production process effecting finnace of the companies. The long period of materials inventory causes campany loss. On the other hand, small amount of inventory will also cause the production processes stop. Such situation will also influence marketting and the supply to the consumers; (3) Unstable producation process will cause unstable product supply in the market, and (4) To ensure that the consumers’ needs are continuously completed, control of the raw materials inventory needs to be done and maintained.

The design of mass diffusion columns operated with partition membranes, for the separation of light gaseous isotopes, is discussed. A theoretical analysis of experimental results obtained indicates that a good agreement between experimental results and theory is only obtained at low column pressures and moderate countercurrent flow rates. At fairly low countercurrent flow rates mixing effects due to viscous dragging and gas solubility by the condensate appear to be considerable whereas excessively high countercurrent flow rates, on the other hand, also seem undesirable. Some suggestions are proposed to obviate impairing effects at least to some extent.

This article provides a study of the modalities and legal effects of the termination of the functions of members of the Congolese Constitutional Court. It offers a detailed analysis based mainly on the relevant provisions of Ordinance No. 16/070 of August 22, 2016 on the special status of members of the Constitutional Court. This Ordinance was adopted in application of the Congolese Constitution of February 18, 2006 in conjunction with organic-law No. 13/026 of October 15, 2013 on the organization and functioning of the Constitutional Court. Distinguishing on the one hand the normal cause of cessation of functions - the expiry of the mandate - and on the other hand the so-called exceptional causes - the resignation, dismissal and death of a member -, the study shows that the enumeration thus retained from the ordinance is incomplete with regard to the above-mentioned organic law. Thus, the list must be supplemented with the "nullity of the appointment" of a member in accordance with articles 2 and 3 of that organic law. The law is silent, however, on the issue of the voluntary retirement of members, although the implementation of this right inevitably has an impact on the end of their functions. The study therefore continues by an examination of both the general and the specific legal effects of these different modalities of ending the functions of a member of the Constitutional Court. Finally, in order to support and complete this essentially theoretical analysis, the article also looks at the question that remains most topical in Congolese constitutional law, namely the legal nature of the 'power' of the President of the Republic to appoint members of the Constitutional Court to other Courts or functions during their term of office. It concludes that such a power is not justified in the current framework of Congolese constitutional law. Indeed, it is inconceivable that such appointments should be imposed on the Constitutional Court members, their acceptance being the only exception to the principle of irremovability that governs them. Such a case should be considered one of voluntary resignation and a subsitute member should therefore only be appointed after this situation has been ascertained and established by the Constitutional Court.

The paper addresses the problem of theoretical determination of the presence and quality of the necessary and steady interrelation between the consciousness and the giftedness of schoolchildren. It is argued for the need of a social philosophic approach to the solution of this problem in the perspective of subjective action. The problem is tackled by means of the theoretical analysis of speech functions in the performance of subjective action by a social individual. The study reveals, on the one hand, which subjective action elements the acting individual is necessarily aware of. On the other hand, it is shown which elements of self-concept, when purposefully and artificially developed, are an obstacle for the performance of subjective action

This research examines how conversational implicature and relevance in communication contribute to the elicitation of verbal humor in Total Women, and it discusses whether the pragmatic theoretical analysis of verbal humor can eventually be induced to a hierarchical two-stage processing like Incongruity-resolution. It is shown that (1) The fun-making character Fannie’s statements which flouted different maxims of conversation all built up and led to the elicitation of verbal humor; (2) Relevance-eliciting verbal humor resembled to Incongruity-resolution with the oppositeness between the first interpretation and the retrieved one communicating the presumption of optimal relevance on the one hand and the humorous inference on the other hand.

AbstractWe have developed a model for theH2OandOHevolution in a comet outburst, assuming that together with the gas, a distribution of icy grains is ejected. With an initial mass of icy grains of 108kg released, theH2OandOHproductions are increased up to a factor two, and the growth curves change drastically in the first two days. The model is applied to eruptions detected in theOHradio monitorings and fits well with the slow variations in the flux. On the other hand, several events of short duration appear, consisting of a sudden rise ofOHflux, followed by a sudden decay on the second day. These apparent short bursts are frequently found as precursors of a more durable eruption. We suggest that both of them are part of a unique eruption, and that the sudden decay is due to collisions that de-excite theOHmaser, when it reaches the Cometopause region located at 1.35 × 105kmfrom the nucleus.

We have become accustomed to differentiating between the scanning microscope and the conventional transmission microscope according to the resolving power which the two instruments offer. The conventional microscope is capable of a point resolution of a few angstroms and line resolutions of periodic objects of about 1Å. On the other hand, the scanning microscope, in its normal form, is not ordinarily capable of a point resolution better than 100Å. Upon examining reasons for the 100Å limitation, it becomes clear that this is based more on tradition than reason, and in particular, it is a condition imposed upon the microscope by adherence to thermal sources of electrons.
