The results of the impact of soy lecithin and sunflower on productivity and quality slaughter calves geese. Experimental studies were conducted with 200 geese breed «Danish lehart» which formed 5 groups. Since days old, I (control) group of geese received during the research period, complete feed is made in terms of private enterprise «Orbita», II, III, IV and V (experimental) group received a complete feed with the addition of its composition of different doses of lecithin sunflower instead of a similar amount of soybean meal. Experimental young geese fed complete ration that was balanced in essential nutrients. Over the entire period of growing the highest average increase in body weight observed in geese II experimental group, which was 95.2 g, which is 9.7% higher compared with the control. Advantage geese III, IV and V of experimental groups fed 0.3%, 0.4% and 0.5% soy lecithin, this indicator was 0.3%, 4.8% and 7.4% compared to analog control group. A similar trend was observed in terms of the absolute increase in body weight, where the highest increase was observed in the experimental group of geese II – 5711 g, which is 9.6% higher compared with the control. Feeding soy lecithin III, IV and V of the experimental group also tended to increase in absolute growth, namely 0.3%, 4.8% and 6.4% relative and 0.5% – 0.8%. To assess meat quality of young geese for the use of sunflower lecithin and soybean aged 60 days was held control slaughter to determine slaughtered parameters. In terms of pulp output young geese II experimental group exceeded by 16.3% (P < 0.01), analogues control group, the experimental group III geese by 4.4%, geese IV experimental group 6.4% (P < 0.05) and the experimental group geese V 8.5% respectively. By weight of skin with subcutaneous fat geese dominated research groups geese control group 12.3%, 7.1%, 5.2% and 9.9% respectively. Calculation of meat and osteal index showed that in II experimental group the figure was 1.86 and was 7.5% higher than the control at 3.5%, III research group – on 2.7%, IV group – to 1.6% and 0.5% V group respectively. Analyzing the findings can assert about the appropriateness of sunflower lecithin in the composition of complete feed young geese in an amount of 0.4%. Prospects of further research is to study the effects of different amounts and sources of sunflower lecithin in feeding breeder geese breed «Danish lehart».

The work aims to study the effect of different doses of the experimental probiotic preparation “Plantarum” when fed to pregnant animals on their reproductive qualities, as well as on the growth and development of young animals. To obtain young animals, four groups of goats were formed in the type of the Saanen breed, 20 heads each. In the first (control) group, the animals received a standard diet, in the diet of the animals of the second, third and fourth groups in the second half of pregnancy, the probiotic preparation “Plantarum” was additionally introduced, containing Lactobacillus Plantarum, Propiobacterium freudenreihii, in dosages from 0.4 to 0.8 ml/kg of body weight per day. From the offspring of the goats of the experimental groups, four groups of 12 goats were formed. The highest percentage of preservation (94%) and the highest business output of kids per 100 queens (150%) were observed in the fourth experimental group (0.8 ml). The goats of the second, third and fourth groups exceeded the body weight of their contemporaries from the control group by 3%, 6.3%, and 8.8%. The highest indices of the absolute increase in body weight by age periods were noted in the fourth group of goats. There were no significant differences in body build indices during the experiment between the goats of the control and experimental groups. Thus, the maximum positive effect was observed with the introduction of a probiotic preparation into the diet of pregnant goats at a dose of 0.8 ml/kg of body weight per day.

The situation following anti-obesity drug termination is rarely investigated, eventhough a decrease in body weight needs to be sustained. Therefore, this study examined the impact of twice-daily peripheral administration of 5 mg/kg [N-palm-γGlu-Lys11] prolactin-releasing peptide 31 (palm11-PrRP31) in mice with diet-induced obesity (DIO from consuming a high-fat diet) after 28 days of treatment (palm11-PrRP31 group) and after 14 days of peptide treatment followed by 14 days of discontinuation (palm11-PrRP31 + saline group). At the end of the treatment, cumulative food intake, body weight and subcutaneous fat weight/body weight ratio and leptin plasma level were reduced significantly in both the palm11-PrRP31 group and the palm11-PrRP31 + saline group compared to the saline control group. This reduction correlated with significantly increased FOSB, a marker of long-term neuronal potentiation, in the nucleus arcuatus and nucleus tractus solitarii, areas known to be affected by the anorexigenic effect of palm11-PrRP31. Moreover, activation of leptin-related hypothalamic signaling was registered through an increase in phosphoinositide-3-kinase, increased phosphorylation of protein kinase B (PKB, AKT) and enhanced extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 phosphorylation. Besides, lowered apoptotic markers c-JUN N-terminal kinase and c-JUN phosphorylation were registered in the hypothalami of both palm11-PrRP31-treated groups. This study demonstrates that palm11-PrRP31 positively affects feeding and leptin-related hypothalamic signaling, not only after 28 days of treatment but even 14 days after the termination of a 14-day long treatment without the yo-yo effect.

The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of toxocariasis invasion on protein-synthesizing function and functional state of the liver of dogs. For experimental studies, 12 dogs aged from two to four months were used and two groups of six animals were formed in each: control and experimental. Puppies of the experimental group were experimentally infected with the pathogen toxocariasis at a dose of 5,000 invasive eggs of T. canis per kg of body weight. The control puppies were clinically healthy. Protein-synthesizing function of the liver of dogs in experimental toxocariasis was studied by the level of total protein and its fractions. It was found that on the 25th day of the experiment the level of total protein in the blood of the experimental group of dogs was 56.9 ± 1.47 g/l, while in the control group – 63.8 ± 2.92 g/l. The lowest level of the studied indicator was on the 30th day of the experiment in the blood of the experimental group of dogs, where it decreased by 9.6 %. The results of a study of protein fractions in the blood of dogs infested with toxocara showed that the percentage of albumin is likely to decrease. However, in the blood of infected dogs in this period of research there was a probable increase in globulin levels. The study of the effect of toxocariasis invasion on the activity of enzymes in blood serum is a test for the morphological and functional state of tissues and organs. Based on the studies, it was found that with the development of toxocariasis invasion in dogs there is an increase in alanine aminotransferase in their serum. On the 25th and 30th day of the experiment, the activity of the enzyme in the serum of infected dogs was the highest, where compared with the control group of dogs, the activity of ALT increased by 51.2 and 59.1 %, respectively. Similar changes in activity were observed in the determination of aspartate aminotransferase, where, respectively, on the 15th, 20th and 25th day of the experiment, the activity of AST in the serum of infected dogs increased by 19.3, 27.5 and 39.1 %.

The article considers the impact of changing training aids during weight training in the gym, without changing the amount of load and intensity. The study involved twenty-eight visitors to the gyms of the city of Kharkov, from 18 to 32 years and experience of one year. The study was conducted in two stages, the duration of each was 2 months. The control group was engaged without changing the exercises, and the experimental group with changing the exercises in the second stage. The volume and intensity of the load did not differ between the groups. Results. Anthropometric indicators were studied at the beginning and end of the second stage of the study. The equipment used Tanita RD 545 scales, an application for the My tanita mobile device, and an elastic band for measuring circles. The experimental group improved their results in the following indicators: body weight, fat percentage, muscle mass, shoulder circumference, chest and thigh circumference. At the end of the study, the experimental group surpassed the control group as a result of the following indicators: body weight, fat percentage, and muscle mass. The results of the circles of the muscle groups at the end of the study did not differ between the groups. Conclusions. Changing such factors of training influence as exercises has a positive effect on the result of fitness training in the gym. Despite the invariability of the amount of load and its intensity, the change in exercises led the participants of the experimental group to a significant improvement in performance, both in comparison with the beginning of the study and in comparison with the control group.

Zinc is necessary for maintaining the immune status, and its deficiency in the organisms of animals is usually accompanied by the condition of immune deficiency. The objective of the study was determining the effect of different amounts of zinc on the immune-biological reactivity and productivity of the organism of rabbits after their weaning on the 50th and 86th days of life. For the study, rabbits with the weight of 1.2–1.4 kg were selected and divided into four groups (control and three experimental). The rabbits of the control group were fed with unlimited balanced granulated compound feed, and had free access to water. The animals of the I, II and III experimental groups were watered with zinc nanoaquacitrate in the amounts of 0.25, 0.50 and 0.75 mg of Zn/kg of body weight. Compared with the control group, watering of the animals of the experimental groups with zinc nanoaquacitrate to a greater extent affected the content of phagocytic activity, lysozymic and bactericidal activities of the blood serum as integral factors of non-specific cellular and humoral resistance of the organism, which manifested in the increase in their content in blood on the 12th, 24th and 36th days of the experiment. Use of organic supplement in the diet of rabbits had a stimulating effect on the functioning of the immune system of their organism, which was seen in the higher content of total immunoglobulins, sialic acids and ceruloplasmin in the blood of animals watered with zinc nanoaquacitrate in the quantities of 0.50 and 0.75 mg of Zn/kg of body weight on the 24th and 36th days of the experiment. Use of organic compound of zinc in the diet caused high parameters of growth of the organism of rabbits during the period of 36 days, which manifested in the highest parameters of average-day increments and body weight on the 86th day of the life of the rabbits from the III experimental group, which received zinc nanoaquacitrate in the amounts of 0.75 mg of Zn/kg of body weight compared with the control group. Watering rabbits with zinc nanoaquacitrate during the study was accompanied by probable changes in the number of erythrocytes, concentration of hemoglobin and erythrocyte indices, which could indicate a positive effect of the employed additives on the hematopoietic function of the rabbits’ organism. The data of the performed experiment suggest that watering with larger amounts of organic compound of zinc has a positive effect on the processes of formation of immuno-physiological reactivity of the rabbits’ organism and increase in their productivity. The practical purpose is the study of the impact of watering with zinc nanoaquacitrate on the immuno-biological reactivity of the organism of rabbit dams during the period of lactation.

Modern research shows that several plant extracts containing tannins can improve the nutrition and the health status of farm livestock. In view of the fact that there is a certain dependence of the tannin activity on the source, geographical distribution, the assessment of their effects on changing the intestine microbiota is poorly studied. Experimental studies were conducted on 120 heads of 7-day-old broiler chickens (4 groups, n = 30, 4 replications). The control group received the main ration (MR); the first experimental group – MR + extract 1 (1 ml/kg of live weight); the second experimental group – MR + extract 2 (2 ml/kg of live weight); the third experimental group – MR + extract 3 (3 ml/kg of live weight). An extract from Quercus cortex was additionally included in the composition of experimental groups’ rations. Sequencing the content of samples from the small and cecal intestine was carried out at the second generation sequenator MiSeq Illumina (the United States). As the concentration of the extract increased, micro-organisms of phylum Bacteroidetes shrunk (I) and then disappear (II, III). The maximum concentration found a decrease of phylum Firmicutes (p ≤ 0.05) and an increase of Proteobacteria (p ≤ 0.05). This group also revealed a decline of representatives of class Bacilli (p ≤ 0.05). In groups I and II, representatives of class Clostridia decreased by 14.6-50.5% in comparison with the control. The ratio of representatives of microorganisms in the intestine depends on the number of tannin-containing substances in the extract, which reveals the need for a more detailed examination of this factor as a source of such substances.

The article presents the results of experimental studies on the influence of various levels of methionine in feed on the productivity of growing rabbits. The research was conducted in the conditions of the problematic research laboratory of feed additives of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. Experiment was carried out on young rabbits HYLA hybrids of the French company EUROLAP, of which, on the principle of analogues, four groups were formed – control and 3 experimental, with 20 heads (10 females and 10 males) in each. The experiment lasted 42 days. Every week we conducted individual weighings of the experimental animals, calculation of weight gains and feed costs. For feeding of the experimental rabbits were used diets, which were balanced by energy and main nutritional elements, but differed in the content of methionine – the rabbits of the control group consumed feed containing methionine 0.29%, the second – 0.41%, the third – 0.54%, the fourth – 0.66%. Diet consisted of wheat bran, sunflower meal, sunflower hulls, alfalfa grass meal, premix and bone concentrate. At the 84th day of age, the largest body weight was in rabbits, which consumed feed containing methionine 0.41% – 3005.4 g, which is on 3.2% (P < 0.01) more than in the control. Over the entire period of the experiment largest absolute increase was observed in rabbits of second group (0.41% of methionine) and preponderated the indicator of animals of control group at 5.7% (P < 0.001). The average daily gain for the entire period of the experiment was the highest in rabbits of the second group, which was on 5.8% (P < 0.001) more than in control. Calculations of feed costs for the period of growth 42–84 days indicate that the rabbits that consumed a feed containing 0.66% methionine per 1 kg of body weight gain consumed it by 2.3% less than control, and those who consumed feed with contents 0.54% methionine – by 1.5% less, 0.41% methionine – by 1.2% less. According to experimental results, we can conclude that for maximum increases in body weight with moderate cost of feed per unit of weight must use diet containing methionine 0.41%.

The paper explores the impact of monochromatic illumination on replacement chickens of Decalb White cross-breed in the conditions of the Amur region. The chickens were grown from 1 day to 115 days age. The research was conducted in the conditions of the poultry farm “Belogorskaya”. The authors arranged four groups according to the principle of steam-analogues; each group contained 200 chickens and the experiment was carried out in the production unit. The researchers used luminous tube lamp with different colour temperatures for lighting. White lighting was used in the control group, yellow - in the first experimental group, green - in the second experimental group and blue - in the third experimental group. The researchers made blood test of chickens aged 30, 60 and 90 days for morphological and biochemical analysis. The authors carried out control weighing of the poultry at that time. At the end of the experiment, three pullets from each group were slaughtered in order to study the organs. The paper highlights morphological and biochemical blood parameters of replacement chickens at the white light had lower deviations from the physiological rate than at yellow, green and blue lamps. At the beginning of growing under yellow lamps, the concentration of gamma-globulin fraction of protein in the blood serum of chickens was higher than the age rate and the content of albumins was lower. Compared to the control group, the amount of bilirubin (P<0.05) and the activity level of asparagine aminotransferase (P<0.001) were higher under green and blue lamps. In the middle and at the end of the growing period, the number of leukocytes, creatinine, uric acid and asparagine aminotransferase may have increased in chickens under green and blue light. The difference among the results of blood tests of chickens grown under white light was, mostly reliable. When controlling the growth and development of replacement chickens aged 30 and 60 days the authors observed that the average body weight of chickens in white light was 1.5-3.9% higher than in the poultry of experimental groups. The average body weight of the chickens aged 90 days from all the groups was at the same level. The results of the control slaughter of pullets aged 115-days and grown under different lighting conditions were similar, and their sexual maturity was the same.
