he article presents information about new finds of desmid Bambusina borreri (= B. brebissonii Kütz. ex Kütz.) in Ukraine and analysis of its distribution in the country. Peculiar features of the genus are cylindrical or barrel-shaped cells arranged in slightly twisted non-mucous filaments. Bambusina borreri is cosmopolitan with a disjunctive rangeж its distribution is limited by pH and trophic level of water bodies. Environmental selectivity determines its low frequency of occurrence. The species was included in the third edition of the Red Data Book of Ukraine. The authors first discovered B. borreri in the swamp protected by the Chornolisky Landscape Reserve of National Importance (Kirovohrad Region, Ukraine). In the Maliovanka Regional Landscape Park (Khmelnytsky Region, Ukraine) this species was confirmed to inhabit Rusalchyne Lake and first found in three more lakes. In all cases B. borreri occurred in typical habitats: oligotrophic reservoirs with low pH. A list of locations and a map of the distribution of B. borreri in Ukraine has been compiled. Among 22 localities cited for this species five sites are currently dissappeared. Most of the B. borreri localities are situated in the Pripyat-Desna Algofloristic Subprovince and only two belong to the Middle Dnieper and Carpathian-Danube algofloristic subprovinces; this is due to ecological preferences of the species. It is important to note that 10 of the 17 still existing habitats of B. borreri are located within the objects of the Nature Preservation Fund of Ukraine, which is an important aspect of its conservation.

AbstractRecords of 20 species of lichens from Belarus are presented. Of these, 12 species (Bacidina egenula, Dimelaena oreina, Jamesiella anastomosans, Psilolechia clavulifera, Rhizocarpon lecanorinum, Rinodina bischoffii, Steinia geophana, Thelidium zwackhii, Thelocarpon intermediellum, Trapeliopsis pseudogranulosa, Vezdaea aestivalis and V. leprosa) are new to Belarus. Biatora ocelliformis and Dermatocarpon miniatum were known only from literature data in the country. New localities for little known in Belarus species such as Cliostomum corrugatum, Cyphelium tigillare, Fellhanera subtilis, Scytinium lichenoides, Schismatomma pericleum and Umbilicaria deusta are provided. Two of these (Scytinium lichenoides and Umbilicaria deusta) are included in the Red Data Book of Belarus. The records are briefly discussed.

According to the results of the study of the flora of the natural monument of regional natural monument «Pe-trovskoe swamp» (Russia, Bryansk Region, Mglinsky district), carried out in 2018–2019, annotated lists of vas-cular plants and bryophytes were compiled. The flora of vascular plants includes 367 species from 80 families. The largest number of species is found in the families Asteraceae (40 species), Poaceae (34), Rosaceae (25), Fabaceae (19), Cyperaceae, Lamiaceae and Apiaceae (17), Caryophyllaceae (13), Ranunculaceae (15), Brassi-caceae and Scrophylariaceae (10). 5 of these species are listed in the regional Red Data Book (Krasnaia..., 2016): Diphasiastrum complanatum, Juniperus communis, Lathyrus pisiformis, Pulsatilla patens, Sanicula europaea. Alien species were recorded, including those spreading from cultivated coenoses in nearby settlements: Acer negundo, Amelanchier spicata, Echinocystis lobata, Helianthus tuberosus, Hemerocallis fulva, Hesperis pycnotricha, Levisticum officinalis, Oxalis stricta, Rudbeckia laciniata, Saponaria officinali, Sorbaria sorbifolia. Bryophytes belong to 107 species in 41 families. New localities of mosses listed in the regional Red Data Book were discovered: Homalia trichomanoides, Neckera pennata, Sphagnum jensenii. Indicator species of old-growth forests were noted: Anomodon longifolius, Homalia trichomanoides, Hypnum cupressiforme, Neckera pennata, Stereodon pallescens.

The article presents new data on the distribution in the territory of Western Altai of 20 species of vascular plants from the families Asteraceae, Betulaceae, Boraginaceae, Crassulaceae, Huperziaceae, Grossulariaceae, Lamiaceae, Onagraceae, Orchidaceae, Papaveraceae, Polygonaceae, Ranunculaceae, Rosaceae, Saxifragaceae и Violaceae. All of them were collected in the highlands of the Korgon Range within the Altai Territory. Of these, Potentilla crebridens is reported for the first time for the Altai Territory and Western Altai; for other species, new localities are indicated. For the first time for the Korgon Range within the Altai Territory, Saxifraga terektensis, Viola tigirekica are presented, and the exact location of Potentilla nivea is noted. New localities of rare and protected species were discovered: Callianthemum sajanense, Huperzia appressa, Pyrethrum alatavicum, Saussurea baicalensis, Scutellaria altaica. For each species, the general distribution, ecology data are given, for some species, notes on the difference and differentiation of them from the closest taxa are indicated. If necessary, the locations of the species previously registered in the Western Altai are indicated. For the species included in the “Red Data Book of the Altai Territory”, we provide an information on the approximate number of individuals in the found populations. Based on the analysis of herbarium material, we exclude Potentilla nervosa from the list of flora of the Altai Territory.

The article contains generalized information about distribution of Muscari botryoides (L.) Mill. in Ukraine. It listed in the third edition of the Red Data Book of Ukraine with the conservation status "disappearing". It is protected in the «Mocharka» and «Shyiania» nature reserves. The Red Data Book of Ukraine contains information that the studied species grows only in the Zakarpattia region. A small number of publications dated after 1960 concerning to M. botryoides attest about the necessity of studying this species in order to obtain information about its current distribution in Ukraine. The work purpose was to generalize the literature and herbarium data about M. botryoides distribution in Ukraine. After processing literature data and herbarium materials (LWS, CHER, UU) a list of localities and a distribution map of M. botryoides in Ukraine have been compiled. It is established that the species exist not only in the Zakarpattia region, but also grows in the Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi and Ternopil regions. M. botryoides grows in light xerothermic oakerys, outskirts, secondary forest cenosis on rich warm brown soils, formed on deluvium of igneous rocks, in Querco-Fagetea and Quercetea pubescentis communities, occasionally in the communities with Robinia pseudoacacia. Species also grows in meadow steppes, steppe and after-forest meadows, on karsts outcrops. It prefers xeremosephytic environmental conditions. In general, 15 localities of the species have been found in Ukraine. Over the past 20 years only 3 sites have been documentally confirmed: in Bushtyno Urban-type settlement (Tiachiv district of Zakarpattia region), Kholmovets village (Vynohradiv district of Zakarpattia region) and between Drachyntsi and Kostyntsi villages Chernivtsi regions. Also 5 new localities have been found: in Probabyn village (Horodenka District, Ivano-Frankivsk Region), in Vyshnivka and Krasnostavtsi villages (Sniatyn District, Ivano-Frankivsk Region), in Onok village (Vynohradiv District, Zakarpattia Region) and in the NNP "Synevyr" (Mizhhirsky and Khust districts of Zakarpattia region).
