The paper analyses the problem which is relevant both theoretically and practically, since it tries to disclose family as an economic institution credited with important financial advantages, and it provides different economic and social benefits such as tax exemptions, inheritance, child and spouse maintenance, social security and immsigration. This position is revealed analysing the regulation of legal property relations between spouses by laws, various scientific and legal literary works related to this topic as well as court practice. At the moment of marriage commencement, property relations used to acquire a significant value in a major part of traditional societies: in some countries, bride’s parents would award their daughters with dowry, the size of which very often determined the groom’s choice; in other countries, especially in the East, a groom would pay a ransom for his bride. In some countries such customs are extant to the present day and constitute a traditional part of a marriage settlement. In different cultures the bride’s parents must give away part of their property to the newlyweds (known as a dowry). The dowrygiving practice is similar in such countries as Greece, Egypt, India, and China. The type of property called wife’s property exists in the countries of different religions and customs. For instance, the Hindu law entitles the wife’s property as Stridhanam.

Mass production of fiberglass boats begun in the mid-50s of the 20th century. Over decades, a large number of such boats accumulated throughout the world. Since the lifespan of these boats is 30 to 50 years, at the moment many fiberglass boats simply arived to the end of their life and need to be appropriately disposed in a safe and environmentally friendly way. It is expected that the disposal of boats will become a more pronounced problem, in which the basic issue is the relatively high cost. The main problem is the fiberglass laminate which constitutes the major part of the boat. As of today, there are no economically viable methods. Many countries do not have special programs for the disposal of worn out fiberglass boats, which would undoubtedly provide the answers to many questions. The paper gives an overview of the disposal conditions of worn out recreational fiberglass boats over the world as well in the Republic of Croatia.

Crimes against marriage and family are a particular group of social relationships that the law has defended properly in view of the high public significance and value they enjoy. At the moment they are regulated in Chapter VI, Section I, of the specific part of the Penal Code the Republic of Bulgaria. The subject matter of this Statement will, however, be the legislative provisions concerning these criminalized acts in retrospect. The purpose of the study is to show by historical method and through the comparatively legal method the development of these criminal groups during the periods of various criminal laws in Bulgaria. This will also provide a basis for reflection on possible de lege ferenda proposals. This report from a structural point of view will be divided into three distinct points, marking each of the penal laws in the Republic of Bulgaria, which were in force before 1968.

The moment unfolded in this book unravelled in the following decades, partly because its students moved on, partly because Lefèvre took up a controversial role in the French Reformation. But his circle’s books continued to cultivate a particular approach to learning, and especially to the cultural place of mathematics, through the sixteenth century. This epilogue picks out a specialist strand of this influence in Lefèvre’s edition of Euclid, often reprinted and used in the republic of letters. A second strand is discernible in the pragmatic stance towards the utility of mathematics held by their heirs, Oronce Fine and Peter Ramus, which came to define European culture.

Local and foreign scientists are now paying growing attention to various issues of property and the philosophical and ethical, political, economic, institutional, social, psychological, and other aspects of its formation, taking into account the requirements of large-scale transformation, which primarily concern post-industrial areas of social development. In consequence, as modern studies rightfully point out, considering property relations, two general restrictions should be taken into account: this is an attempt to explain the absoluteness of their roles, the presence and content of all aspects of socio-economic relations by property relations; and the denial of the role of property as one of the most important factors determining the direction of social development in the present and future. This situation forces a new look at the economic policy of the state in this area, because any financial and monetary measures taken by the government will be doomed to failure if their implementation will be without interaction with the mechanisms of the private property system. The article defines the entrepreneurial sector of the region, its interaction with the institutions of the market system operating in all sectors and spheres of the region's economy, and also shows the influence of the development of property relations on the institutions of entrepreneurship.

The commented ruling of the Constitutional Tribunal concerns the constitutionality of the provision of Article 70(1) of the Family and Guardianship Code, which provided that the time limit for a child to bring an action to deny the paternity of his or her mother’s husband is three years and runs from the moment the child reaches the age of majority, regardless of the child’s know-ledge of his or her biological origin, i.e. regardless of whether the child within that time limit acquired knowledge that he or she did not come from his or her mother’s husband and whether the child could decide to bring an action. The expiry of the three-year period resulted in the expiry of the child’s right to claim the denial of paternity of the mother’s husband and, consequently, precluded the possibility of a positive determination of the paternity of a man other than the mother’s husband. The Constitutional Tribunal found this provision to be inconsistent with Article 30 in conjunction with Article 47 in conjunction with Article 31(3) of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland. The author agrees with the position expressed by the Constitutional Tribunal in the judgment in question, which in this case provides a basis for consideration of the relationship between the right to know one’s biological origin and the value of stabilising the civil status of a child and persons remaining in an established family relationship with him or her.

This chapter deals with the circumstances leading to the first of three Anglo-Dutch wars. Beginning with a proposal for political union, the chapter addresses the growing animosity between the English and the Dutch through two major themes. In the first place, from the moment of its foundation the English republic was, and behaved like, an empire. Second, it was the product, as in the Netherlands, of a rebellion and fiscal/military revolution which built the state. More than its Dutch model, the English republic entailed a sharp, indeed spectacular, break with the past, accompanied by a revolutionary as well as an imperial ideology.

The main purpose of the article is to identify the features of the sociological study of «folk» Islam. The article shows the differences between sociological approaches to the study of this phenomenon from ethnographic, historical and philosophical ones. The analysis of the concepts of «folk» Islam, mass religious consciousness, religiosity of ordinary believers, religiousness of the population shows that they are not identical and have independent significance for the researcher. The text of the article shows the differences in the meaning of these concepts. The author, basing on the data of sociological surveys, interprets the features of «folk» Islam, which are not identical to the "normative", bookish Islam. This kind of attitude of religious people, not being fully consistent with the principles of the "normative" Islam, creates a positive predisposition in the sphere of mass religious consciousness to tolerant attitude toward representatives of different cultures and worldviews. The opinion polls also showed that there are some components of pagan beliefs in the religious consciousness of followers of "folk" Islam. Data comparison of opinion polls by ethnic groups suggests that «folk» Islam among representatives of different ethnic groups of the Republic of Daghestan does not have principle differences from the general Daghestan indicators of such kind. Sociological surveys show that, despite some inconsistency regards the provisions of the "normative" Islam, in "folk" Islam, the basic values of the Islamic religion are understood and preserved in accordance with universal human values. The study shows that "folk" Islam has a high adaptive potential to the conditions of globalization processes. This adaptation, as a rule, does not correspond to Islamic normativity.
