Abstract— This research is aimed to produce a prezi multimedia based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) in Basic Law of Chemistry material and to determine the level ov validaty and practicality based on media’s function. This research is Researc and Development (R&D) which applies 4-D madel: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research is done until development stage. Determining the level of validity and practicality are done by Chemistry lecturer, Chemistry teacher, and students of class XI IPA SMAN 1 Bukittinggi. The research instrument is questionnaire which consists of validity questionnaire and practicality questionnaire. The technic of data collection is done by distributing questionnaire. The data is analyzed by using moment kappa. From the data analysis,it is found that Prezi Multimedia based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) in Basic Law of Chemistry material has moment kappa validity about 0,85 with very high level of validity, moment kappa practicality from teacher’s evaluation about 0,86 with very high level of practicality, and moment kappa practicality from student’s evaluation about 0,80 with high level of practicality. The learning media that have been developed is proved valid and practical, so it can be used on Chemistry learning process in class X IPA at SMAN 1 Bukittinggi.

The research aimed to (1) describe the process of developing the Indonesian Student Workheet using Problem Based Learning Model, (2) show the quality of the Indonesian Student Work Sheet using Problem Based Learning Model, including: (a) the product quality of the Student Worksheet and (b) the using quality of the Student Worksheet. The type of the research was research and development using 4-D model, those are definition, design, development, and dissemination. The data collection used instrument of validation sheet from the expert, questionnaire sheet, observation sheet. The technique of data analysis divided into three, the technique of data analysis of student worksheet quality and the implementation of student work sheet using Problem Based Learning. The results showed that the development process consisted of two stages: (1) the analysis phase of the writer’s understanding about the Student Worksheet and it’s need, and (2) the design phase which produced the summaries of the materials in each basic competences. The product quality based on the expert gained the score in average of 72.48%, good, the using quality based on the questionnaires to the teacher and observation to the students gained the score in average of 75, 65, good.

In the next decade, high energy physicists will use very sophisticated equipment to record unprecedented amounts of data in the hope of making major advances in our understanding of particle phenomena. Some of the signals of new physics will be small, and the use of advanced analysis techniques will be crucial for optimizing signal to noise ratio. I will discuss new directions in data analysis and some novel methods that could prove to be particularly valuable for finding evidence of any new physics, for improving precision measurements and for exploring parameter spaces of theoretical models.

THE EFFECT OF ANALYTICAL THINKING SKILLS ON PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING TOWARDS STUDENTS’ LEARNING OUTCOME OF THE KNOWLEDGE DOMAIN AbstractThis research aims to discover the influence of analytical thinking skill on problem-based learning towards students' learning outcomes of the knowledge domain. This research was conducted in SMP 1 Jaten in the academic year of 2018/2019. The research method used in this research was quasi-experimental. The researcher used simple random sampling to take a sample of this research. The sample of this research was 64 students of SMPN 1 Jaten. The researcher collected the data using objective tests in the form of 18 multiple choice questions to get data of the knowledge domain and 12 questions to get data of analytical thinking skills. The data analysis technique used by the researcher was a parametric test using the ANOVA test. Based on the data analysis, it was got that the sig value was 0.539. If the sig value was > 0.05, it could be concluded that H0 was accepted. It means that the students analytical thinking skill does not influence significantly towards students learning outcomes of the knowledge domain.

This study aimed to determine the difference in the improvement of students' mathematical representation ability in problem-based learning (PBL) and regular learning as well as to determine the difference in the improvement of  students' self confidence in PBL and regular learning. In addition, to find out whether there was an interaction between learning and students'  early mathematical ability toward the improvement of students' mathematical representation ability and whether there was an interaction between learning and students' early mathematical ability toward  students' self confidence. The population was all students of SMP Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe. The sample was taken randomly as many as 2 classes which were consisted of 60 students. Data analysis was conducted by using Two way ANAVA. The conclusion were (1) the ability improvement of mathematical representation of students given a PBL model was higher than students given regular learning. (2) the improvement of students' self confidence given a PBL model was higher than students given regular learning. (3) There was no interaction between the learning model and students' early mathematical ability toward the improvement of students' mathematical representation skill. (4) There was no interaction between learning model and students' early methematical ability  toward the improvement of students' self confidence. Keywords: Problem based learning model, regular learning, mathematical representation, and self confidence.

The Problem-Based Learning (ABP) methodology requires an evaluation approach in which a series of specific and transversal competencies are evaluated. This evaluation must be formative allowing students to identify and correct mistakes in time. Therefore, it is necessary to have tools in order to evaluate suitably the learning outcomes and established competencies. In the subject of Corrosion which belongs to the second course of the Master of Chemical Engineering, the ABP has been evaluated through a report to be handed after each ABP session, where the main conclusions are collected after the cooperative resolution of the proposed problem and, on the other hand, by means of the notes taken by the teachers and students (co-assessment and self-assessment), after the oral presentation of the results and conclusions of the practice. In this work, for each of these evaluation activities, specific rubrics have been developed. From the different evaluation activities, it can be affirmed that the rubrics used are effective for the evaluation of the ABP methodology activities. In addition, it was possible to verify that the students have reached the learning results and it was also possible to detect the corrosion issues that pose the greatest difficulty to the students.
