The article is devoted to various philosophical genres, such as the treatise, essay, fragment, tale, letter, and dialogue. These are not treated as comfrotable and transparent means by which to express philosophical thought: on the contrary, they are closely related to the form through which such thoughts are expressed. The author does not limit himself to describing these written forms of philosophy, but confronts two fundamental types of thought, which are expressed in two distinct types of writing. One of these is “priestly”: authoritative, systemic, based on monologue, on a single, self-confident subject, while the other is “ecumenical” thought: based no dialogue, rooted in the here and now, closer to the fragment. The former type is artificial thought, aware of the temptations of totalitarianism or “thought imperialism”; the latter, on the other hand, is based on a living and natural train of thought. Systemic thought finds expression in a writing style whose aim is clear from the outset, where the act of writing is merely a conduit for absolute meanings; by contrast, dialogue thought treats writing as an adventure, as a road without a previously defined goal.

Apart from his political and educational work, and from his controversial autobiography, José Vasconcelos is known for his Ibero-Americanist thought. The Cosmic Race, Indology and Bolivarism and Monroeism gather all the ideas that are attributed to his theoretical point of view. His philosophy is what we know less of and what is most criticized. Nonetheless, is there a connection between his philosophical thought and his Ibero-Americanist ideas? Abelardo Villegas says that Vasconcelos’s philosophy is the product of a racial and cultural message. Therefore, according to Villegas, his philosophy is subordinated to his Ibero-Americanist ideas. Patrick Romanell, on the other hand, states that the Ibero-Americanist ideas make up the popular and illusory side and, hence, must be separated from the philosophical thought. The aim of this paper is to elucidate this problem. In order to clarify it, we will follow Villegas viewpoint to the bitter end. His reasoning invites us to look closely at the history of Ibero-American thought as well as at Vasconcelos’s first works. Precisely by analyzing these two aspects and the point where they meet, we might be able to find an answer.

In his paper "The Influence of Normative Reasons on the Formation of Legal Concepts", German legal philosopher Lorenz Kähler offers a very interesting approach to normativity for the Russian theory and philosophy of law. L. Kähler, considering various normative reasons that influence on the formation of legal concepts, puts forward original and sometimes unexpected conclusions. On the one hand, this can be attributed to the peculiarities of his writing style, but on the other hand, it sometimes seems that he deliberately provokes the reader to questions, involving him in a discussion. In L. Kähler’s approach, there are at least two arguments that require serious clarification and discussion. First, the fact that all the concepts used in legal norms are legal, and, secondly, that the legislator can use lexical, stipulative and real definitions to disclose a content of these concepts. The counterarguments and criticisms offered in this article are based on the statements that the definition is one of the ways of forming legal concepts, and that the question of what is meant by concepts is closely related to the question of which definitions the legislator can use. This led to the following conclusions. First, that in the formulation of legal norms, non-legal concepts, legal concepts and concepts of the law can be used, and this use does not entail that all these concepts become legal. Second, that three types of definitions (lexical, stipulative, and real) are clearly not enough to define these concepts. Moreover, not all of these definitions can be effective and productive, and only some of them are normative in nature. Therefore, it is necessary either to expand the list of definitions, or to significantly modify them in accordance with the specifics of the field of application.

Filosofia. Fé. Racionalidade. Writers often use metadiscourse markers to express their messages compellingly and persuasively. The current research explores the frequency of metadiscourse markers in Pakistani and American Newspapers using corpus linguistics methods. Opinion articles from both The News and The USA Today were collected, cleaned, and analyzed using the AntConc software. The primary focus of the research was on two interpersonal features: hedges and boosters. The findings of the study suggest that American writers tend to use more metadiscourse markers than Pakistani writers do. The findings also suggest that the frequency of hedges is higher than that of boosters in both Pakistani and American articles. The findings also suggest that writers prefer to use hedges to convey doubt, uncertainty, and lack of confidence. On the other hand, writers prefer to use boosters when writing about facts that make their writing style more confident and assertive.

Lives at the borders of the present: from the attempt at curricular control to the difference ABSTRACT My goal in this text is the debate about the tensions surrounding the curriculum, tensions provoked in an arena of disputes between unequal forces. If, on the one hand, the curriculum is instituted based on policies that respond to conservative and neoliberal demands, whose attempts to silence the difference and control lives; on the other hand, it is the proper place of difference with real possibilities of ruptures. To guide the debate, I use the following question: what affects the curricula thought under the aegis of neoliberal/conservative principles affect the circularity of the existence of difference in the school event? In this movement of analysis, I choose to work with the post-foundational and post-structural perspectives as a methodological instrument, especially with the epistemology of butlerian philosophical thought with the notion of frameworking. Despite attempting at control, curricula thought based on conservative and neoliberal voices are subject to escape. Thus, the desired quality of education, via monocultural knowledge, is hardly to materialize. What the curricula continue to do, therefore, is to try to control the uncontrollable, desire of the neoliberal imagination to ensure its own hegemony. Keywords: Curricular control. The conversation raises the question of the universal understanding of philosophy in order to question about the level of the contemporary's ability to understand philosophy in accordance with its original way of being. The statement of the question is connected with the catchy oddities of the current situation. We are talking about the current desire of the philosophizing community to justify the benefits of philosophy, and its substantive presence in the academic environment through the development of "competence philosophies". The spreading philosophies of "what you want", with a departure in the partial moments of a given problem, communicate a system of certain truths. But is it being introduced into a philosophical state? And do they preserve philosophy itself? Also, today, there are enough proposals to convey philosophical thought in a world separation from institutionalization. But, by all means, a fashionable and famous thinker. Or philosophize along with something attractive. With a scandal, for example. Basically, such offers are in demand. Therefore, thinking “for the money” is actively scattering. I will call this philosophy through subscription. At the same time, the applications offer spicy or hot topics with the prefix: a philosophical meeting, a philosophical view, a philosophical understanding. What do the joint stays of people who associate with the philosophy attached to the vital lead to? The aim of the article is to study the level of a contemporary's ability to understand philosophy in accordance with its original way of being. The main tasks are: 1) assessment of the current situation of actively spreading innovative teaching of philosophy; 2) analysis of the thinking of a person who is in a position where, on the one hand, “competence-based philosophy” and “craft philosophy” are being strengthened, on the other hand, the philosophy of the academy is removed from classical universities as unnecessary - under the conditions of the global market; 3) view of philosophy as an absolute unity.Research methods: The research is based on the metatheoretical method, since it allows one to describe philosophy in an inalienable way, in accordance with its nature. Avoiding methodological confusion, metatheory makes it possible to examine philosophy formally and encourage thinking, testing its power. For reflection, the comparability of the experiences of philosophy in itself and of the involved philosophy is proposed.

This notebook is being cause for reflection throughout the Church in Brazil and should return to the OGM for the possibility of turning it into the document. In this paper, in order to contribute to such studies, we try to reflect the concept of ecclesial subject, autonomy and responsibility, from the philosophical thought, trying to show that the concepts of subject and autonomy underlying the thinking that led to the civilizational paradigm we call modernity. On the other hand, sought to show that the ecclesial institution, molded an aristocratic-feudal countryside, must rethink to the urban world, a world of subjects that strive for autonomy. Keywords: Laity. It Seems that a major impetus to philosophical thought about volitional concepts — the concepts of action, purpose, choice, intention, deliberation, freedom, of the voluntary and the like — has often been a reflection on the discoveries and theories of science. Sometimes philosophy is stimulated by a broad-ranging scientific theory. Thus we have recently seen a flurry of debates about B.F. Skinner's Beyond Freedom and Dignity which challenges the validity of our commonsense notions and forces us to clarify and defend them or accept a drastic revision in our conception of ourselves and of human society. Sometimes, on the other hand, it is not a grand theory which excites our interest but rather a new discovery or the investigation of a particular type of phenomenon which generates some new problems or throws light on old ones.
