The new generation leveler control system need to deal with amounts of data. Directed at the characteristics, this article demonstrates the structure design of its database architecture. From the communication interface, hardware and software environment, functions, technologies, etc., we expounded the implementation of database system, such as real-time database, alarm database, model material databases, historical database, and safety information database and so on. It shows that the database system is a core of new generation leveler control system. We also present specific examples of design and give the detailed method of approach.

This paper proposes multilevel architecture for an intelligent control system for the complex chemical energy technological process of yellow phosphorus production from apatite-nepheline ore processing waste. The research revealed that, when controlling this process, one has to deal with large amounts of multiformat and polymodal information, and control goals differ at different levels not only in effectiveness criteria, but also in the structuredness of the level problems. On this basis, it is proposed that intelligent methods be used for the implementation of information processes and control goals at individual levels and the whole system. The artificial intelligence methods underlying the informational model of a control system offer solutions to problems of analyzing control processes at different hierarchy levels, namely the initial level of sensing devices, the levels of programmable logic controllers, dispatching of control and production processes, enterprise management and strategic planning. Besides, the intelligent control system architecture includes analytical and simulation models of processes occurring in the multistage procedure of ore waste processing by a plant consisting of a granulating machine, a conveyor-type multichambercalcining machine, and an ore thermal furnace. The architecture of information support for the control system comprises a knowledge-based inference block intended for implementing the self-refinement of neural network and simulation models. Fuzzy logic methods are proposed for constructing this block. The paper considers the deployment of control algorithms for a phosphorus production system using the Matlab software environment on the basis of a modern complex system development paradigm known as the model-oriented design concept.

This paper describes a logical model applied as a soft control tool to mobile objects. The model of the logical spatial situation without uncertainty, i.e., according to the law of excluded middle, is considered as the basis. Nonetheless, the motion rules are derived using an approach applied in constructible mathematics and logic. The approach consists in the finitude of variants of control and analyzing all potential traffic scenarios. The constructible object considered in this paper is the situation’s logical model. The constructible approach consists in considering the model of a typical railway station by the example of which the traffic is analyzed. The situation’s logical model is implemented as a condition for potential traffic. This model is described using mathematical logic with the help of logical variables and rules. The control system in this case makes use of permissible versions of logical designs. The control relies on the feasibility of traffic. The system of control rules is developed on the basis of the logical situation’s model and formed without uncertainty. The article provides an analysis of complementary kinds of traffic.

The aim of paper is to investigate an efficient sensorless control method with vector-control technique for the induction motor (IM) drive systems. The proposed technique relies on the indirect rotor-field orientation control scheme (IRFOC). All sensorless control techniques are greatly affected by the observation of the speed estimation procedure. So, an efficacy new algorithm for estimating the rotor speed of the adopted machine is proposed. In addition, a simple effective method to estimate the machine rotor currents is suggested. The adopted rotor-speed observer is based on the concept of IRFOC method and the phase-axis relationships of IM. To ensure the capability of the proposed sensorless speed-control system, a simulation model is developed in the MATLAB/Simulink software environment. The robustness of the new control method is analyzed under parameter uncertainty issue. Furthermore, comprehensive experimental results are obtained. The whole obtained results confirm the validity of the proposed observer for sensorless speed control capability. The given results also verify the effectiveness of the suggested sensorless control system-based IRFOC for speed-control drive systems of IM. Moreover, the results assure that the presented rotor-speed observer is effectively robust via any parameter changes.
