Existence of Javanese culture is still inherent in modern times with beliefs that cannot be abandoned. Tradition nyetaki is an expression of gratitude to God about the birth of a child. Based on the view of Islam, it is called tahnik, which is to chew dates until smooth and then put into the baby's mouth and rub it into the palate so that there are some dates that are swallowed. In addi tion to dates, foods that are commonly used are sweet foods. Tahnik is done by people who are considered experts in religious science or have a high spiritual spirit. In the basics saliva and mouth store various kinds of bacteria. The phenomenon that occurs due to the tradition of tahnik is to strengthen the baby's immunity. The research method is descriptive explorative qualitative. Data and sources are obtained through observation to the community and literacy studies from various valid reference sources. This study examines the local wisdom that is trusted by the people of Java about Islamic immunization. Cultural know-how involves dental peristalsis, oral amylase enzymes, and bacteria in the mouth. Positive bacteria in the tahnik process will move to the baby's stomach so as to stimulate natural immunity. The bacteria contained in the mouth will make the natural immune system, so the body is resistant to these bacteria. The mouth contains an amylase enzyme that can break down glucose. Baby's glucose needs are less than 20 mg/100 mL - 30 mg/100 mL of blood so that they are susceptible to contracting the disease. So, dates or sweet foods that contain carbohydrates break down into simple molecules and speed up the digestive process. The spiritual value of the power of prayer and public trust strengthens the baby's immune system.

Background:: Cancer immunotherapy is a type of cancer treatment which effectively harnesses the natural ability of the immune system to fight against cancer cells. This approach takes into consideration the fact that cancer cells express various types of antigens on their surface. Such tumor antigens can be detected by the immune system. However, cancer cells normally develop resistance to the defensive mechanisms presented by the immune system. Thus, cancer immunotherapy has some challenges in its path but due to its impressive clinical effectiveness, it is considered as the potential and effective mode of treatment for cancer. Methods:: We searched the scientific database using cancer, immunotherapy, and tumor antigens as the keywords. Herein, only peer-reviewed research articles were collected which were useful to our current work. Results:: Cells responsible for incurring natural immunity to the body are engineered in such a way that they become able to efficiently recognize and bind to tumor antigens. Such type of immunotherapy is referred to as active immunotherapy. Another type is passive immunotherapy, which involves the process of modifying the existing natural immune responses against cancer cells. A hybrid type of immunotherapy has also been developed which involves the combinative use of both active and passive immunotherapy. Cancer immunotherapy has so far proven to be an effective treatment for cancer as this therapy primarily aims at attacking cancer cells and not the healthy body cells lying in close vicinity to them. Conclusion:: In the review, we described the significance of immunotherapy in the management of various types of cancer.

Covid-19 has become a world pandemic. In indonesia, surveillance data until october 2020 reported that the average incidence of covid-19 was 3,978 new cases per day in 502 districts from 34 provinces (who, 2020). About 80% of cases with mild symptoms can recover without special treatment, but not all covid-19 patients show signs and symptoms, this is thought to be influenced by the strength of the individual's immune system. Patients who have comorbidities such as diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, pulmonary disease and other chronic diseases will worsen the condition of the immune system. As it is known that the disease caused by the corona virus is a self-limiting disease that will heal itself with a good immune system. Immunity are all mechanisms that the body uses to protect against invading foreign substances or pathogens through an immune response mechanism which is divided into 2 phases : natural immune response (innate immunity) and adaptive immunity. Several ways can be done to improve the imune system. Natural immunity utilizes spices and herbal ingredients which are indonesia's natural resources, as immunomodulators. This is based on several research results and evidence based. Apart from easy manufacturing methods, these ingredients are very easy to find around our environment.

Ageing is a process of unfavorable progressive changes associated with decline in vigour and ending in death. Ageing is the part of life which is unavoidable but the untimely aging can be stopped. The process of ageing involves the coexistence of two opposing factor namely evolution (growth) and involution (atrophy). These processes continue to operate throughout the life but their importance varies in different age groups. As the age advanced, human beings gradually lose some of their attributes, because of functional and structural alteration in almost all organ systems. Ageing in individuals is affected to a greater extent by genetic factors, diet, social conditions and the occurrence of age related disorders. Anti oxidants can speed up the cell division and cell replacement process, which can help to slow the overall effects of ageing and prevent specific age related diseases. It also deactivates the free radicals and prevents their formation and also stimulates the immune system to increase our protection against all diseases. Like anti-oxidant in Ayurveda the Rasayana therapy not only helped attain longer, healthier life but also help cure some of the dreadful diseases. Rasayana aid in increasing natural immunity, enhancing general wellbeing, improving the functioning of all fundamental organs of the body and keep the signs of early ageing. The main purpose of Rasayana therapy is to impede the ageing process and to delay the degenerative process in the body.

Immunity is the state of protection against foreign pathogens or substances(antigens). Host defence mechanisms consist of innate immunity (natural immunity), which mediates the initial protection against infections, and adaptive immunity (specific/acquired immunity), which develops more slowly and provides more specialized and more effective defence against infections. The immune system evolved to protect multicellular organisms against pathogens. The body is protected against pathogens by a variety of effector cells and molecules that together make up the immune system. All the cellular elements of blood, including the red blood cells, platelets and white blood cells of the immune system, ultimately derive from the hematopoietic stem cells of the bone marrow. The cells of the adaptive immune system consist of lymphocytes, antigen-presenting cells and effector cells that eliminate microbes. Strategies of avoidance, and tolerance represent different ways of dealing with pathogens. Anatomic barriers and chemical barriers e.g complement and antimicrobial proteins may be considered as primary forms of avoidance.Macrophages, neutrophils and dendritic cells are important cells that that detect infection. Pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) recognize simple molecules and regular patterns of molecular structures called pathogen associated molecular patterns. Some PRR are transmembrane proteins e.g Toll like receptors (TLRs). Vaccination is a simple, safe, and effective way of protecting people against harmful diseases, before they come into contact with them. Immunization is the process whereby a person is made immune or resistant to an infectious disease, typically by the administration of a vaccine. Inappropriate immune responses can result into hypersensitivity, autoimmune disease or immune deficiency.

Immunity is defined as resistance offered by the host against microbes and other foreign substances that prevent them from illness caused by these offending agents. The immune system is responsible for the identification and elimination of pathogens that invade the body before sickness and prevent the damage caused by them. Immunity to a particular disease is obtained by the presence of specific antibodies against that disease. Antibodies are proteins that the body produces to neutralize or kill pathogens or species carrying diseases. Antibodies are unique to diseases. A healthy immune system is highly essential and to strengthen the immunity, several dietary and lifestyle changes can reinforce the natural defences of the body and help fight injurious pathogens or organisms that cause sickness. Being a vast topic, full details of all mechanisms of the immune responses and immune therapies are beyond the scope of this article. This article aimed to provide the basic information and mechanisms involved in functioning of the immune system and its importance in health and disease. This review article highlights on basics of immunity and substances that can act as natural immunity boosters.

Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic is caused by SARS-CoV2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2). It primarily targets lung epithelial cells of human respiratory system. The original strain of coronavirus was first identified at the end of December 2019 and emerged during an outbreak in Wuhan, China. The SARS-CoV-2 infection is mostly seen in the people with weak immune system. There are different ex-situ approaches to prevent the infection of corona virus viz., use of masks, sanitizing body and surfaces and maintaining social distance. But apart from them, in-situ prevention approaches like inclusion of nutrient rich healthy foods and herbs in daily diet helps to protect the body from inside by strengthening immune system. Thus, to strengthen immune system from inside we need to take immunity boosters, apart from normal healthy diet. These immunity boosters are prepared from leaves, roots, stems, flowers, barks and some other parts of medicinal and spice crops. These contain a mixture of proteins and other organic chemicals and carbohydrates, which include alkaloids, flavoids, glycosides, saponins, and terpenes. Kabasura kudineer, Nilavembu kudineer, Immuplus, Echinacea liquid, Immusarc, Septilin and immunity plus are some of the important immunotonics to strengthen and to protect body from infections and safeguard health. In this context we have to supplement our body with these immunity boosters to fight against not only COVID-19 but also other diseases.

It is the most unreliable truth that anybody can get infected by the COVID-19, and nobody can escape from the danger of getting tainted by the virus. Yet, the line of hope is that anyone and everyone can boost their resistance, thus avoid the risk of getting affected by the illness. The immunity of humans pulls down as they grow older. If their immune system is robust, them falling sick is feeble. If their resistance is weak, them getting ill is sound. Several factors affect the immune system and its ability, including its nourishment. A two-way connection between nutrition, infection and immunity presents. Changes in one part will affect the others part in our body that's the nature's rule. Well defined immune system quality which is present between each life phase may influence the type, generality and the degree of infections. At the same time, low nutrition to the body will decrease the immune function and expose the body to the danger of getting infected by infectious diseases. Different quantity of micronutrients is required for increasing the immunity power of our body. Generally the vitamins A,C,D,E,B2,B6,B12, iron, zinc and selenium. The deficiencies of micronutrients are acknowledged as a global health issue, and also low nutrition makes it prone to establishes the infections in the body.
