<p><strong>A</strong><strong>bstract</strong><strong>. </strong>This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model to improve student learning outcomes. This research is important because the lecture learning model makes learning meaningless so it impacts on low learning outcomes. This research uses quasi experiment using control class and experimental class. Respondents in this study were students of class X SMK 8 Semarang Academic Year 2017/2018. Sample selection using random sampling, class X1 is <em>used</em> as a control class and X2 is an experimental class. The experimental class was given an intervention by learning Teams Games Tournaments (TGT), while the control class used lecture learning. The effectiveness of the model was measured by the student test analysis method. then analyzed by completeness test and average difference test. The findings of this study are the learning outcomes of experimental class students achieving better learning outcomes than classes using the lecture method.</p><p><strong><em>Keywords</em></strong><em>: Learning Model, Teams Games Tournaments (TGT)</em><em>. Background: Service-learning has historically been seen as a high-impact practice that empowers undergraduates to develop essential learning outcomes. Most service-learning discussed within the literature occurs as a required element of a credit-bearing academic course. Purpose: This study explored what happens when service-learning is reimagined to be disconnected from a specific course and credit hours, and available via application to all undergraduates regardless of the liberal arts/science major or year in the college. Methodology/Approach: HyperRESEARCH was used to identify themes and categories from 45 sets of weekly reflections submitted by 36 participants engaged in reimagined service-learning projects across five semesters. Findings/Conclusions: Key findings reveal that not only do undergraduates develop essential learning outcomes as delineated in the existing literature, but in many cases, their understandings, and abilities to execute these skills, are deepened when service-learning is reimagined. Findings also reveal that undergraduates may experience service-learning differently depending upon year in college. Implications: Results from this study suggest that practitioners should investigate ways to reimagine service-learning, with specific emphasis placed on the differential ways college students at various stages in their undergraduate career experience, and learn from, service-learning.

ABSTRACTThis community service program aims to provide assistance to college students in learning process that changes due to the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic. There has been a change in learning that was initially offline or carried out at the campus but because of the pandemic it was directed into online learning of course has weaknesses and shortcomings. The continuity of this program is to understand and prepare for online learning both in terms of IT, immunity, ethics and others in the future so that learning outcomes can still be achieved even though the process is online Keywords: Speaking Ethics, Mastery of IT, enhancing body immunity ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan kepada mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran yang berubah karena dampak Pandemi Covid 19. Terjadinya perubahan pembelajaran yang awalnya luring atau dilakasanakan di kampus tetapi karena pandemi maka di arahkan pada daring yang tentunya memiliki kelemahan dan kekurangan. Keberlanjutan dari program ini adalah agar mamahami dan mempersiapkan diri untuk pembelajaran daring baik dari segi IT, imun tubuh, etika dan lainnya pada masa berikutnya sehingga capaian pembelajaran tetap tercapai walaupun prosenya daring.  Kata Kunci: Etika Berbicara, Penguasaan IT, peningkatan imun Tubuh

Mentorship in the field of service-learning has many variations. The utilization of peace circles has been on the rise as a way of bringing inclusion and cultural awareness when interacting with diverse perspectives in a group setting. Research on the impact of service-learning experiences on college students reflects that participation in these high-impact practices in higher education lead to positive outcomes through engagement in active learning practices that will impact their future careers. The purpose of this study was to investigate the potential factors that impact college students’ own growth and development within mentorship service learning experiences in virtual settings with school-aged students. Using Likert-style retrospective survey questions with open-ended responses, this mixed-methods research explored the impact of participating in mentorship service learning on college students’ development of social-emotional and cultural competence. The findings of the study are presented in a descriptive approach which led to conclusions and recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Mediator Mentors program at Fresno State University to positively impact the growth and development of college students in the areas of social-emotional expertise and cultural competence.
