An object tracking increases loads of enthusiasm for dynamic research in applications such as video surveillance, vehicle navigation, highways, crowded public places, borders, forest and traffic monitoring areas. The system we develop aims to measure and analyze the application of background subtraction method and block matching algorithm to trace object movements through video-based. The making of video surveillance systems “smart” requires fast, reliable and robust algorithms for moving object detection and tracking. This research applies background subtraction method to detect moving object, assisted with block matching algorithm which aims to get good results on objects that have been detected. Performance evaluation is carried out to determine the various parameters. In this paper author design and develop a novel algorithm for moving object tracking in video surveillance also compares and analyse existing algorithms for moving object tracking. Author main aim to design and develop an algorithm for moving object tracking to handle occlusion and complex object shapes.

The key of background subtraction which is widely used in moving object detecting is to set up and update the background model. This paper presents a block background subtraction method based on ViBe, using the spatial correlation and time continuity of the video sequence. Set up the video sequence background model firstly. Then, update the background model through block processing. Finally employ the difference between the current frame and background model to extract moving objects.

In view of the problems existed in moving object detection in video surveillance system, background subtraction method is adopted and combined with Surendra algorithm for background modeling, an algorithm of detecting moving object from video is proposed, and OpenCV programming is adopted in Visual c ++ 6.0 for implementation. Experimental results indicate that the algorithm can accurately detect and identify moving object in video by reading the image sequence of surveillance video, the validity of the algorithm is verified.

Video surveillance is a process of analyzing video sequences. It involves analysis, interpretation of object behaviors, as well as object detection and tracking. Video processing plays an important role in the industry and computer vision such as online monitoring of assembly processes, video surveillance security system, medical treatment, robot navigation and military, etc. Detection and tracking of human objects is one of the important studies in improving the ability of the surveillance system. Moving object segmentation has its own niche as an important topic in computer vision. It has avidly being pursued by researchers. Background subtraction method is generally used for segmenting moving objects. This method may also classify shadows as part of detected moving objects. Therefore, shadow detection and removal is an important step employed after moving object segmentation. However, these methods are adversely affected by changing environmental conditions. They are vulnerable to sudden illumination changes, and shadowing effects. Therefore, in this work we propose a faster, efficient and adaptive background subtraction method, which periodically updates the background frame and gives better results, and a shadow elimination method which removes shadows from the segmented objects with good discriminative power. Introduction: Moving object detection from videos is among the most difficult task in different areas of computer vision applications. Among the traditional object detection methods, researchers conclude that Background Subtraction method carried out better in aspects of execution time and output quality. Mehtod: Visual background extractor is a renowned algorithm in Background Subtraction method for detecting moving object in various applications. In the recent years, lots of work has been carried out to improve the existing Visual Background extractor algorithm. Result: After investigating many state of art techniques and finding out the research gaps, this paper presents an improved background subtraction technique based on morphological operation and 2D median filter for detecting moving object which reduces the noise in the output video and also enhances its accuracy at a very limited additional cost. Experimental results in several benchmark datasets confirmed the superiority of the proposed method over the state-of-the-art object detection methods. Conclusion: In this article, a method has been proposed for moving object detection where the quality of the output object is enhanced and good accuracy is achieved. This method provide with accurate experimental results, which helps in efficient object detection. The proposed technique also deals with Visual Background extractor Algorithm along with the Image Enhancement Procedure like Morphological and 2-D Filtering at a limited additional cost Discussion: This article worked on certain specific field, like noise reduction and image enhancement of output images of the existing ViBe Algorithm. The technique proposed in this article will be beneficial for various computer vision applications like video surveillance, road condition monitoring, airport safety, human activity analysis, monitoring marine border for security purpose etc.

Inpainting is a technique to enhance digital videos. Based on the spatiotemporal domain, we herein propose a video inpainting method to repair the removal objects in the videos. The method consists of an adaptive foreground model, the motion rate estimation of objects, and a repairing scheme. Initially, the adaptive foreground model based on the background subtraction method is developed. The model is used to estimate the motion rate for each moving object in the frame. According to the estimated motion rate, the model specifies an adaptive interval between the forwarding reference frame and backward reference frame to obtain the useful information and to repair the removal objects. The remaining un-repaired areas are filled using an exemplar-based inpainting technique with color variance. The results show that the proposed method can produce visually pleasing results. Additionally, it reduces the inpainting time and provides efficient computing.
