With the development of modern mechanics methods and computer technology, some practical commercial finite element analysis software was introduced to the ultrasonic cleaner design. ANSYS software is a financial structure, fluid, electric field, magnetic field, the sound field analysis in one large general-purpose finite element analysis software can be used in many industrial fields. The basic operation of ANSYS was introduced. The simulation based on the ANSYS was applied in the design of ultrasonic cleaner successfully, which can improve work efficiency and shorten development period of ultrasonic cleaner.

During type test experiment of loading mechanism, there exist a problem of deformation and cracking, in order to solve this problem, movement of cylinder under the action of gas source is analyzed by numerical simulation, based on this, use finite element analysis to execute dynamics simulation analysis, the effect of high-speed collisions when loading mechanism work it bring to cylinder bracket is analyzed, and the reason of cylinder bracket crack is find out. The modify method is put forward, it is proved by experiment that, after modify, the working reliability is significantly improved.

A novel drive joint based on the principle of interaction between electromagnet and permanent magnet is introduced, which may be used in active vibration control. The toque model and the dynamic model of the system are built. The toque model is verified by the results of Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Finally, the dynamic simulation based on the model is carried out.

Femoral locking plates are orthopedic implants used in closed reduction of the fractured femur. These orthopedic implants designed using conventional methods apply finite element analysis to evaluate their performance. These traditional approaches result in failure of implants and need for revision surgery. Designing a patient-specific or a customised implant can make a substantial difference to the expected performance response and reduce the failure or breakage of implant. Therefore, a simulation-based design approach is employed which encompasses medical imaging segmentation, finite element analysis, Taguchi design methodology and topology optimization. The intent is to provide a methodology that will help surgeons to make informed decisions backed by engineering analysis.
