Density of Surabaya city affects the physical and psychological health of the people. Productive activities accompanied by a dense environment mean that people rarely have time to exercise. To increase the awareness and interest of the people of the city of Surabaya to exercise, it is necessary to have a sports facility with a special approach. Biophilic theory, especially the natural shapes and form approach, can be a solution to these problems. The return of nature's essence into the building can provide positive benefits for human physical and physical health. Previous research has discussed the determination of fitness center design criteria with the natural shapes and forms approach in Surabaya. In this follow-up journal, we will discuss the final result or application of the design criteria into an architectural work. The design method used is the force based framework method. The force in the design of this building in addition to the surrounding natural environment is the natural perception of the community which is transformed into architectural forms. It aims to increase interest in training and restoring the user's physical and psychological health without having to go far out of town to look for nature.

Abstract The performance of plumbing systems is directly related to water and energy consumption. Malfunction of components in these systems can cause water waste and discomfort to users. In this research, the performance of 607 plumbing fixtures was investigated in five public buildings focused on sports activities in the city of Joinville, Southern Brazil. The flow rates and leaks in all installed plumbing fixtures were verified. The measured flow rate values were compared to those established by Brazilian standards and by environmental certifications LEED and AQUA. Flow rates of showers with water at 40°±2 °C were measured in summer and winter to compare the performance of showers in different seasons. The flow rates in showers displayed worse performance in winter than in summer. Also, 30.9% of taps showed some type of leak and 77.8% of toilets trickled. Of all plumbing fixtures, 71.7% presented some kind of defect. The results presented in this study indicate the main problems related to the performance of plumbing fixtures installed in public sports facilities in Joinville and can be useful in planning building preventive maintenance and water conservation actions.

The main objective of this study was to investigate the relationship of aggregate sports participation and the overall crime in Hong Kong. Data of sports participation and the number of crimes from the year 2001 to 2015 were used in this study. Poisson regression models in level and in one-lagged period by maximum likelihood were used to explore the relationship between sports participation and crime in Hong Kong. The findings proved that higher sports participation of citizens would lower the overall crime in the city. This linkage also existed for young persons. The results of this study brought practical implications on the future planning of sports policy. The Hong Kong government played an important role in providing sports and recreation opportunities for the citizens. Recently, there was rising discontent towards the political power in the city, especially from the younger generation. It was hopeful that sports activities could be a medium to relief the grievance of young people and build up a stronger social cohesion. School sports might be a ready-made panacea for the current situation. Therefore, it suggested that more school sports opportunities should be provided to the younger generation.

The research that is presented aims to: Provide a system of physical-recreational activities conducive to the inclusion of paraplegic adults from the Asoplegic Association of Guayaquil to the practice of physical sports activities. A descriptive, non-experimental methodology was followed with the use of theoretical and empirical methods and the use of techniques such as the survey, achieving the results of providing a system of physical-recreational activities, composed of 4 blocks (Gymnastic Activities in Wheelchairs, Activities Wheelchair Adapted Sports, Wheelchair Adapted Recreational Activities, Wheelchair Dance Therapy). The assessment made by the evaluating specialists who agreed on the usefulness and benefits of the proposed activity system was very significant, considering it as a timely alternative to facilitate the processes of inclusion of paraplegic adults who are members of the Asoplegic Association.

Tourism industry has a share of 18.2% of GDP of the Republic of Croatia, but seasonality is one of the key problems. The modern tourist should be offered added value such as excursions, sports or musical events, cultural manifestations, etc. The stated values can be achieved with a proper destination management. The organization of a big sports event has a number of positive consequences for the economy of a destination. In addition to the fact that guests and participants of big sports events spend more than an average tourist in a destination does per day, they want to learn about the history and culture and other attractions in a destination they visit or stay. The above mentioned has the effect of getting a positive impression that they will transfer to their families and friends who will also want to visit the destination. Also, the organization of a big sports event in the preseason or postseason contributes to the extension of the tourist season, which is extremely important for the city of Split since tourism is still seasonally oriented despite the fact that it has a high 18.2% of the GDP (in 2016 and 17.2% in 2014).
