The article has a Yaroslavl region transport infrastructure study and evaluation. The authors regarded such transport infrastructure aspects, as the presence and composition of messages between the Yaroslavl region and neighboring regions, studied the availability, quality of roads of federal, regional and local importance, including road considered by category, traffic, etc parameters. The freight and passenger traffic on the railway and road transport volumes are presented as a comparison. The article has also the analysis of the cash rolling stock vehicles. As one of the transport security aspects is studied the road accidents and connected with it death dynamics. For Road Trips highways fitness evaluation had been taken an 11 Yaroslavl region companies pool on a range of issues, including the presence and transport infrastructure level and roadside service on the main tourist routes. In addition, were presented the federal highway M8 Holmogory from Moscow to Yaroslavl (of one or two ways directions) some audit service results. The article contents the research results, based on them, were concluded the main findings about the potentials and restrictions on the motor-car tourism as a most perspective one for the Central Federal District region. In general, the authors concluded the inadequate transport system developing in the Yaroslavl region. It is, of cause, the limiting factor. But, cause the transport system special program existing, the region authority is interesting in this tourism type developing.

On Friday, 3 March 2017, at about 18:19 h, a metro track failed, prompting about 50% of Mexico City’s metro line-C to a halt. The track failure occurred at a peak hour when tens of thousands of commuters were heading to their homes. Given the interdependency among the modes of transportation in the capital city, the incident caused heavy disruption; it is believed that about 45,000 commuters were affected. A systemic safety management system (‘SSMS’) model has been used for the analysis. The results showed that: a) the model demonstrated its potential to the analysis of the transport system interdependency; it has been found that failure propagates vertically and horizontally; b) the model highlighted that failure propagation has to do with a coordination function; c) in relation to the case study, it has been found that the actions taken by the decision-makers during the emergency were less than adequate; d) the commuters traveling patterns should be considered when designing emergency plans; and, e) more generally, there is a need for the creation of a system to manage critical infrastructure protection in the context of Mexico. It is hoped that by conducting such analyses, we may gain a better understanding of the complexity of cities.

Currently, the transport infrastructure plays a decisive role in the development of the city. For the development of the transport system of the territory, it is necessary to develop a whole range of measures to improve both the organization of traffic and transport infrastructure, which implies the creation of parking space, logistics of passenger and cargo transportation and other aspects. Tyumen, being a rapidly developing city and transport hub, objectively suffers from insufficient development of the road transport network. A significant problem is the congestion of the city center, which increases the travel time to the center from residential areas of the city. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the strategic plans for the development of transport infrastructure to assess the potential of the city of Tyumen, which is rapidly approaching the status of a millionaire city, the core of a large agglomeration.

In article the question at the choice of the rolling stock of passenger motor transport in the BRT system which provides movements of buses on specially allocated and often obgorodzheny strips, that is its full isolation on the road from other means of transport is considered. For increase in passenger capacity in the BRT system use three-link buses and trolleybuses. Along with indisputable advantages of three-link buses and trolleybuses also shortcomings - the worst maneuverability and stability of the movement in comparison with two-link are inherent in them. Besides, the efficiency of operation of such cars is provided with a passenger traffic which during the day can change many times. Therefore the road train as a part of two (or three) the buses or trolleybuses working in connection, і which passenger capacity similar to the jointed buses and trolleybuses can become perspective. In rush hours the bus train, and in interpeak the period - each bus separately works (the possible parking of one bus at allocated to the platform). In view of restriction of the maximum length of the bus train at the level of 24.26 m, as buses as making road trains, we will accept the 8th meter buses MAZ 206. Passenger capacity of such bus is 72 passenger, the power of the traction engine - 160 kW. The expediency of use of three-link hook-on road train is proved by the conducted researches that MAZ 206 with a total length up to 26 m and with a passenger capacity up to 220 passengers in the BRT system consists of three same buses. It is shown that the total power of engines is necessary for the movement of such bus train with a speed of 25 m/s has to make 300 kW while for one bus at the movement with the same speed it has to be at the level of 135 kW. It demonstrates about economic feasibility of use of the bus train from three buses working in connection because for their movement in all range of speeds there is enough power of two engines, that is one of buses can be used as the passive trailer that will lead to improvement of fuel profitability of the bus train. It is established that on maneuverability indicators three links the hook-on road train considerably exceeds three links pivotally - the jointed bus. So, the dimensional lane of the hook-on bus train at execution of the most typical maneuvers by it during the work on a city route does not exceed 3.9 and 4.1 m at turns respectively on 900 and 1800 that it is much less, than for three links pivotally the jointed bus 24 m long respectively of 6.8 and 8.2 m. KEYWORDS: THREE-UNIT THE ROAD TRAIN, THE BUS, PIVOTALLY-THE JOINTED BUS, THE BRT SYSTEM, POWER, MANEUVERABILITY, A TRAJECTORY, OVERALL STRIP

The development of the international transport corridor plays a special role in the development of the transport system. Russian special economic zones do not form an integrated network; they can be characterized as separate isolated innovation-oriented elements in the economic space of the low-tech Russian economy. Research in the field of expanding the theoretical apparatus on the above issues has shown that the general understanding of the term “international transport system” includes a set of elements that provide significant international freight and passenger traffic between separate geographical areas, includes rolling stock and stationary devices of all modes of transport working in this direction, as well as a set of technological, organizational and legal conditions for the implementation of these transportation. As part of the study, the analysis of three options for the route of the international transport corridor “North-South” is proposed: transportation of goods by rail, western branch, eastern branch. Based on the results of the study, it is determined that the creation, development and operation of a free economic zone of a port type will create an impetus for the high-quality and efficient port infrastructure that will meet international standards and be one of the factors for attracting freight carriers.

The article considers the problem of heavy cargo transporting as an integral part of functioning of industry in the country. The transportation of such types of cargo is regulated by the legislation related to the national transport infrastructure. There have been considered the ways of transporting heavy sea containers by road transport in the Russian Federation. Definitions of the divisible and indivisible cargo, the maximum mass of the road train have been given, the indicators of the maximum permissible mass of the vehicle and the axle load on the roads of Russia, approved by legislative acts of the Russian Federation, have been presented. The issues of the correct choice of freight vehicles and compliance with the rules for transportation of heavy cargo, in particular compliance with the permissible total weight and axle loads, have been considered. There has been proposed the method for calculating axle loads and the solution to the problem of redistributing axle loads by moving the seat of the towing vehicle, transporting a heavy sea container by train being used as the example. The obtained values make it possible to estimate the possibility of carrying heavy cargo without violating standards approved by the legislation of Russia

Transport plays an important role in the economy of any country. Efficient and developed transport infrastructure of various modes of transport significantly affects the availability of transport services, and consequently, the well-being of citizens. This article presents an analysis of the volume of passengers and cargo transport using rail and road transport in Poland in 2009-2019. These analyses were carried out based on data obtained from the Central Statistical Office. All data concerns Polish entities that provide services in the field of passenger and freight transport in Poland and focuses on such information as the volume of passengers and cargo by individual means of transport, broken down into domestic and international transport. Further, the presented analyses concern the length of the available rail and road routes, tracks, the size of the rolling stock as well as the groups of transported loads.
