Analysis of the known technical solutions for the additional loading of tractor from the trailer has shown that they are ineffective. Their ineffectiveness is the complexity of the design and construction of interfering in hydro-mounting construction of tractor or trailer hitch frame. Also, reasonable reloaded on tractor hydromounting is not provided. In order to avoid these shortcomings towing additional loading device to the trailer with a hydraulic cylinder mounted on the frame of the trailer rotatable carriage was suggested. The tests showed that the maximum additional loading of the tractor from the trailer can not exceed 3900 N, which is not sufficient from the position of improving performance.

The paper discusses the current status of the HLW vitrification technology applied at the radiochemical plant of the Mayak PA. Conceptual and technical solutions proposed to develop the technology of vitrification of various types of liquid HLW at the Mayak PA are presented. Compositions of borosilicate glasses with HLW components are described, temperatures of their melting and easy pouring are determined. Chemical durability parameters obtained for the borosilicate glasses are provided.

AbstractIn this paper, I identify issues that arose in a recent pilot project in which designers contributed to the construction field. The project was led by an overall responsible innovation goal for sustainability impact: contribute to global CO2 reduction. The innovation solution being developed to achieve this goal was a sustainable renovation concept intended for upscaling. In this pilot project, it was applied to a social housing block of 12 apartments. The designers sought to help align technical solutions with the residents’ later use of their homes, because the latter is an important factor in achieving a zero-energy outcome. The paper identifies four issues that arose in the collaboration between design and construction and installation professionals. The issues are goal translation, goal dissipation, the contested service interface and the contested responsiveness to residents. I argue that designers can engage and contribute through design intervention and applying care in the collaboration, in order to support the success of responsible innovation.

The bodies of trucks or trailers are provided with automatic folding shutters to ease the discharge of the transported materials. Typically, these shutters are powered by mechanisms that have active motor groups such as RRTaR or RR-RR-RTaR (i.e. motor dice or triads) and passive motor groups such as RRR, RR-RR-RR etc. If the technological forces are high and the relative speeds between the elements forming the steering coupler are small, the motor groups are formed by rigid bars and hydraulic cylinders. If relatively high gear ratios are required, then pneumatic cylinders may be used. If required relatively high speeds in the driving couplings, then you can use pneumatic cylinders. This paper presents structural and kinematic analysis of a shutter from a trailer used to transport bulk agricultural products, discharge towards the back. For the kinematic analysis of the folding shutter mechanism, computational procedures written in the Matlab syntax are used. The results of the calculations are presented in tabular and diagrams. After the cinematic analysis of the mechanism, it is possible to perform its cinetostatic analysis, i.e. the determination of the reactions from the kinematic couplers, as well as the hydraulic force in the hydraulic cylinder. Results can be used for the dimensional verification of the chosen elements.

Subject of this paper is to propose a possible and notably practically useful training manual for multicrew cooperation training directly suited for use on L-410 airplane type simulator. This paper could be used as study material at LVVC or any other organisation providing MCC training on L 410 aircraft type simulator. Whole paper is divided into three parts: introduction, core and conclusion. Introduction can be understood as a proposition of a problem and determination of paper goals. In its core part, this paper is going to explain the current state of training, legislative issues, technical solutions, analyse possibilities and practical use of this proposed manual. Lastly, there will be evaluation of thistopic in conclusion.

The determination of the coach terminal as passenger logistics hub is described. The factors responsible for successful functioning of this hub are discussed. The location of the coach terminal is one of the important factors. The present coach terminal is located in the heart of the city where land availability is critical. The simulation model of the terminal was developed to complement the design and construction of a new one. The used simulation package VISSIM has visual reference to assist in explaining the complexity of transport node's job and analysis of possible congestions. During the development of the modelling the critical bottlenecks are identified and decisions are taken to reduce the risk of their occurrence, the solution being immediately incorporated into the final design of the coach terminal under development.

The article includes an analysis involving the requirements for the adaptation of rolling stock for use by people with movement dysfunction. The requirements including construction and dimensions have been summarized and detailed conditions necessary to ensure the assumed level of travel comfort for people with reduced mobility with real examples of solutions used in currently operated railway vehicles. The focus was on the requirements set out in Regulation No 1300/2014 regarding technical design and construction solutions for adapting railways to the transport of disabled people, TSI PRM. Based on the collected material, an analysis of the compliance of the actual state with the theoretical one, included in the standard, was carried out. Elements designed and manufactured in a manner consistent with the recommendations contained in the standard, as well as those that require a re-analysis of rolling stock constructors, repair or necessary changes are indicated. The components analyzed included, among others, seating positions, movement zone - including internal and external doors, toilets or platforms enabling access to the interior of the vehicle The opinion of disabled people using rail transport was also included by conducting a survey and performing analysis and then interpretation of the data obtained. Basing on this analysis, solutions that will increase the comfort of travelling for people with disabilities have been proposed.

The paper deals with determination of oxygen permeability of the polyethylene and polypropylene foils applied in mulching and food packaging. The construction of the equipment of measurement of gas permeability through the foils is discussed. The design and construction of the equipment was realized with applying of the Standard STN EN 77 0333. The measurement of permeability of oxygen through the polyethylene Bralen 2-63 with 9% colored concentrate Maxithen HP 533041 – violet foil, Polyten®MLB black&white foil and black polypropylene nonwoven fabric foil were realized by means of the modified method.
