The review examines the problem of psychological health of pedagogues in Russian educational organisations – schools, colleges, universities, boarding schools. The work will raise the issue of the importance of monitoring the current state of pedagogues; such indicators of psychological ill health as emotional burnout, mental maladjustment, depersonalisation are considered. There has been a steady growth and disappointing dynamics of an increase in the number of pedagogues experiencing professional burnout. The options for providing psychological support to pedagogues of schools and universities were considered (individual and group trainings; self-reflection sessions; study of special literature); the result of approbation of the psychological assistance programme was evaluated. Possible prospects for the development of the Medical University of Nizhny Novgorod in the context of the problems of preserving and developing the psychological health of a pedagogue are noted. It has been established that the targeted use of a complex of psychological measures that preserve and develop the health of pedagogic workers not only affects the state of the participants in the educational process, but also guarantees the effectiveness of their activities, thereby determining the success of the education system as a whole.

The article examines the prospects that open up for the implementation of the educational process in higher educational institutions, as well as the problems faced by the modern higher education system in the context of the transition to distance learning caused by the current epidemiological situation in the post-digital world. On the basis of the data from a student survey made during the COVID-19 pandemic, who studied using distance digital technologies, we have analyzed the current state of higher education. Consequently, the authors have concluded that the universities, implementing programs for the digitalization of the educational process and the creation of massive online courses, are actually away from the real social circles of the post-digital society. Given the results, the authors argue that digitalization is not a way to resolve the internal contradictions of higher education. Moreover, digitalization as a goal of higher education somewhat hides the real contradictions of the learning process.

The article provides evidence that the educational system at its current state is not able to adequately perceive the intervention of informational computer technologies and utilize them, as well as clearly differentiate types and risks of the so-called computer addiction. So far, education hasn’t developed a clear view of the role these technologies play in educational process, it only notifies their ambiguity for teaching different subjects. It means that humanity is still in search of the new approaches, being under the pressure of the old paradigms in education. It is especially obvious in teachers’ training practice, equipment of educational institutions, and other factors. The authors believe that contemporary risks in education, connected with intervention of information technologies, can be managed through computer literacy of participants in the educational process, and it might become a sort of a counterbalance for computer addiction.

In the period of globalization new requirements of the level of teachers’ preparation for their pedagogical career have significantly increased. Consequently, it demands higher educational institutions the necessity to draw special attention to enhance the efficiency of educational processes in preparing future teachers. In this article, the mechanism of implementation monitoring processes on improvement of the system of preparation teachers for pedagogical career in the high educational institutions has revealed. In this monitoring the distributional parameters of the corresponding processes according to the direction has taken into consideration and provided prognoses of them on the basis of interrelation and impact between indicators. On this purpose, the algorithmic model of interrelations between indicators of argumentative, procedural and productive directions of a process has developed. This model gives the chance to obtain the predicted information on educational process based on certain evidence, to define necessary organizational and pedagogical measures by comparison with the expected results, corrections, specifications and modernizations of teaching and learning processes.

Significant transformation processes in Ukraine, inspired by globalization, require a rethinking of educational goals, objectives, and educational imperatives. Within the educational process in vocational (vocational-technical) educational institutions, the training system is forced to take into account the global context of actions and consequences in the preparation of a competitive specialist. The purpose of this article is to analyze the current state of development of vocational (vocational-technical) education in Ukraine and the network of institutions of vocational (vocational-technical) education; identifying factors that affect the quality of training of a competitive specialist and controversies that need to be resolved in the training of professionals. To analyze the current state of preparation, a set of theoretical and empirical methods was used, with the help of which a number of problems that inhibit the process of ensuring the quality of training of a competitive specialist were identified. In order to study the current state of preparation, a set of questionnaires was developed and, within the framework of a pedagogical experiment, questionnaires were conducted among entrants, educators, graduates, pedagogical workers, heads of institutions of vocational (vocational-technical) education in the regions of Ukraine and employers, and the results of the questionnaire were analyzed.

Today, it is decisive to determine educational trends for the long-term development of both states and societies. The 21st century proposed fundamentally new approaches to setting educational goals and achieving educational results. An important step towards addressing this issue was the introduction of the “21st Century Skills” concept. One of its elements is “Cultural and civic literacy”. Thus, the international community has made an effort to conduct research in the field of citizenship education. The study aims at forming a comprehensive understanding of the content and assessing the formation of civic literacy by various subjects (in this case, participants in the educational process in the city of Moscow). The selection of research methods and the development of research tools are based on the conceptual provisions in the field of functional literacy. The research novelty is associated with the adoption of innovative international methods by Moscow educational organizations. The study results can be presented in the form of three blocks: a block that determines the level of knowledge and understanding of civic literacy; a block that describes the preconditions and current formation of civic literacy in Moscow educational institutions; a block that represents the self-assessment of civic literacy among participants in the educational process. The study results prove that the respondents demonstrate a fairly high level of proficiency in basic civic terms in the field of knowledge and understanding. This fact correlates with their level of self-esteem. According to the respondents, the necessary conditions for mastering civic literacy are systematic citizenship education at school, the formation of legal culture in families, and the availability of the Internet.

The paper is devoted to the problem of higher education quality improving, and to the necessity of taking into account in this process the educational space subjects: students, teachers and employers. Theoretical and methodological approaches to quality assessment problem have been considered, and system-social approach has been selected, which allow include the satisfaction both of students and teachers with different aspects of high educational institution life into this assessment criteria. Based on such approach a methodology has been developed, and a sociological research on materials of Russian oil and gas high educational institutions, training professionals for the Russian economy’s most significant sector, has been carried out. As a result, the relationships of education quality and satisfaction both of students and educators with the educational process as a whole and its individual elements have been revealed. The assessment of high educational institutions’ graduates made by their employers, as well as recommendations on quality improving in some training directions, aimed at implementation of practiceoriented approach to training, have been presented. A comparison of the situation both in different high educational institutions and between students studying on technical and managerial specialties has been carried out. Particular attention has been paid to the development based on this research’s results of regional oil and gas higher educational institution model in the conditions of higher education modernization, taking into account the interaction of all stakeholders (real economy enterprises, government structures, civil society). Also an oil and gas higher educational institution development realization mechanism has been proposed, considering all the activities of the educational institution (the education, research and innovation, sociocultural ones) with a system approach, allowing it to become successful in the international market of educational services in the oil and gas industry
