AbstractIn summing up, a number of conclusions can be drawn. We have tried on the one hand to establish the various de facto social groups implied in the formulae of address, reference and salutation ascertaining the group affiliation of the persons involved. We have also tried to bring out the meaning of various terms and establish a triple system of ranking. The meaning attached to these terms, we may point out, is specifically interactional, and the proof of its validity lies only in its consistency. We have demonstrated this throughout our presentation of the data as well as the conclusions. Our conclusions mainly indicate a three-fold system of ranking. In the social sphere the brāhmanas successfully maintain their hostile equality with the Buddha. But in the religious and political fields, they are not as successful. In the religious field the Buddhist order more than holds its own and claims several distinguished brāhmanas within its fold. Politically too, the Buddha is less encumbered than the brāhmanas. Unlike them, he is not servile to the king. Despite their actual humility in the king's presence, in their mode of address the brāhmanas recognize no superior in any system of ranking, but at the most only equals. They and the Buddhists have an equal hold on the gahapatis, who represent the secular population, the prizes in the religious struggle. Having analysed the social groupings, we may further comment on them and see if we can relate our "inferred" social ranking of the groups to what is already stated about them in the texts. We may

A single-industry town, or monotown, is a socio-economic system that possesses specific goals and functions as vectors of its development. In this connection, relatively new social requirements appear along with the traditional evolutionary factors. These new requirements involve conditions for the formation of human capital assets, the level of sociocultural infrastructure, the quality of urban communities, and the degree of development of communications. Therefore, the list of strategic criteria for the development of single-industry towns should include indicators of the quality of the social sphere and the quality of life of the population. The research develops evaluation approaches based on identification of the concept and definition of the structural components of the urban social sphere. The paper proposes methods for forecasting the level of the social infrastructure of a single-industry city. The study features the case of Shakhty, a large mining community in the Rostov region. The research defines the necessity for monitoring the dynamics of the development of the social sphere in single-industry towns, formulates groups of criteria for effectiveness management, summarizes the principles of their scaling, and provides recommendations for evaluation of the socio-economic development level. An analysis of the dynamics of the social sphere development in a single-industry town should become an adequate non-ideological integral social and economic criterion for the effectiveness and efficiency of municipal management.

In the context of all countries are moving towards a dynamic and developed economy, it would be impossible not to mention the "labor factor". Obviously, this is an influential factor because the higher quality of labor resources will result in a more conveinent and easier economic development process and vice versa. However, the social mobilization of labor resources, especially high-quality S&T human resources, has become a tough reality. This phenomenon has become more and more popular and complicated within organizations and countries. There are many manifestations of the social mobility phenomenon of high quality S&T human resources, but in this article, the authors focus on two social mobility flows which are social mobility with migration, also known as "brain drain" and social mobility without migration – "internal brain drain". The authors conducted a survey on the current status of social mobility of high-quality S&T human resources in two national universities of Vietnam: Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City in order to recognize the highlights and trends of this phenomenon. From that, the authors set out a number of policy suggestions to minimize the negative impacts from social mobility and to improve the efficiency of using high-quality S&T human resources in Vietnam universities today.

This chapter considers anatomo-politics through an examination of Eric Garcia's biopunk novel The Repossession Mambo (2009) and Miguel Sapochnik's film Repo Men (2010). The two texts illuminate different aspects of biocapitalistic consumption and biopolitical existence, describing a complex system of circulating biocapital, and the social life of biocommodities — artiforgs (artificial organs). Together and against each other, they grasp Foucault's anatomo-politics, and understand what Baudrillard means when he suggests that consumption has emerged as a form of control. Just as R.U.R. linked industrial production to overproduction, these texts link consumerism to biocapitalistic overconsumption through a cluster of interconnected, contagious forms that form an assemblage of contradictions: the decaying urban landscape and vigorous property development, pharmaceutical therapies and drug addiction, and cancerous organs and the artiforgs that replace them.
