The monograph presents the author's material corresponding to the idea that the implementation of the requirements of activity, competence and acmeological approaches significantly contributes to the provision of practice-oriented orientation of education. The paper reveals the potential of educational-cognitive and educational-professional activity in the formation of personal competencies of students in modern higher school. The didactic concept of practice-oriented education as a system of students ' activity, the integrity of which is provided by the personal significance of the purpose of education, its value orientation, subordination to reflective processes, personal aspirations to achieve the "peaks" of education, is presented. It is recommended to scientific and pedagogical workers of higher education, undergraduates, postgraduates, doctoral students and applicants, teachers of universities and institutions of secondary vocational education.

The purpose of this paper is to unpack the meanings and implications of mobility through the experiences of a group of Vietnamese women who decided to do doctorates in Australia. Drawing on the Deleuzian concepts of rhizome and becoming, our analysis of interview data suggests that mobility is made of multiple connections and is in constant movement, extending often reductive “push-pull” discussions of academic mobility. Each aspect shaping mobility connects to another that is multiscalar and multitemporal, where family, education ideologies, gender norms, economic globalization, neoliberalization within higher education, and the histories and biographies of mobile people come together. Power relations are immanent within structures associated with these connections and the women and mobility come together to create aspirations for educational, professional, and personal becoming. The paper offers a more nuanced understanding of international academic mobility rather than relying on economic perspectives and invites innovative approaches in supporting international doctoral students.

Considered the experience of federal educational and methodological associations in the system of secondary vocational education for enlarged groups of professions, specialties created in 2015 by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation The main objects of their activity are federal state educational standards, sample programs, quality assurance and development of the content of secondary vocational education, professional improvement of the activities of scientific and pedagogical workers. They showed the formation of a new project team. It is important to collect all railway specialties in one group to ensure the unity of approaches in the development of the content of federal state educational standards of secondary vocational education of secondary vocational education, exemplary educational programs and examination of their content, as well as to improve the quality of educational content and continuity with higher education. The corresponding specialties of higher education are included in one group 23.00.00 “Engineering and technology of ground transport”. Federal educational and methodological associations in the system of secondary vocational education provide expert services in the field of their activities. For this, an Expert Council has been created. The composition of the Expert Council is formed from the number of teachers of educational institutions of open source education. In total, during the work of the Expert Council, more than 130 examinations of educational publications on road and rail transport have been carried out.

The relevance of the young professional choice study is related to the young people social integration which has the key value for the social and professional structure reproduction and economic growth of society. Problems of professional choice create risks for the successful integration of young people into education, labor and employment. The purpose of the paper is to determine the peculiarities of primary and secondary professional choice of young people, determined by the motives of choosing a future profession that are most common among young people, on the basis of the empirical data analysis. The research methodology is based on the concept of professional self- determination and the author's approach to the distinction between secondary and repeated professional choice.The research method reflects key indicators: the motivation of primary and secondary professional choice, preferences of higher education in the framework of the chosen profession, etc. The empirical basis of the research is the results of the author’s sociological survey of young people. On the example of student youth, author reveals a hierarchy of professional choice motives, characterizes the ratio of internal and external motives of such a choice. The key factors of young preference of higher education in the framework of the chosen profession are revealed. The secondary and repeated professional choice implementation at the vocational training stage of young people is analyzed. The repeated professional choice connection with the personal significance reassessment of the profession and motives associated with the change in the education profile, interaction in the new sphere of professional activity is substantiated. The research results can be in demand for the development of professional self-determination sociological concept and some branches of sociology; in the practice of regulating the interaction of the education system and the labor market.

Статья посвящена проблеме формирования и развития исследовательских компетенций, которые, по мнению авторов, являются необходимым условием успешной профессиональной деятельности педагога СПО. Цель статьи — выявление дефицита исследовательских компетенций у педагогов профессионального обучения, а также определение направления развития научно-исследовательской деятельности (НИД) в сфере СПО. Для достижения поставленной цели было проведено анкетирование с помощью онлайн-опроса, разработанного на базе инструментов GoogleForms, и применены методы статистической обработки данных исследования. В статье представлены структура и виды научно-исследовательской деятельности педагога СПО, приведены результаты эмпирического исследования, позволившие оценить степень сформированности профессиональных компетенций педагогических работников и их готовность к осуществлению НИД. Авторы предлагают практические рекомендации по восполнению дефицита исследовательских компетенций у педагогов профессионального обучения. The article is devoted to the problem of formation and development of research competencies, which, according to the authors, are necessary for the successful professional activity of a teacher of secondary vocational education. The purpose of the article is to identify the lack of research competencies among teachers of vocational training and determine the direction of development of research activities (RA) in the field of secondary vocational education. In order to achieve this goal, a survey was conducted using an online survey developed based on GoogleForms tools, and methods of statistical processing of research data were applied. The article presents the structure and types of research activities of a teacher of secondary vocational education, the results of an empirical study that allowed us to assess the degree of formation of professional competencies of teachers and their readiness to implement the RA. The authors offer practical recommendations for filling the deficit of research competencies in teachers of vocational training.
