Infographics have been proved as one of the most efficient visual tools to convey messages in a variety of applications and contexts. From road signage to data visualization and education, infographic designers manage to give a visual explanation for less or more complex concepts through a decreased use of detail, visual elements and text. Infographics can be designed in more than one types but static and animated types are the most frequently used. Whether the two types mentioned are equally effective in achieving a learning outcome, is still a subject of research. Studies that have compared static and animated infographics give different findings, preventing a secure conclusion for both of them. In addition to the above infographics have been used as visual rhetorical figures for creating meaning that persuade and lead to conclusions, perceptions, and emotions that could, in some cases, have a behavioral impact.The prementioned use of infographics as a means of knowledge transfer has been widely used in recent years in the transmission of information to social groups that may have little or no familiarity with the innovation of ICT and the processing of complex technological advancements. Technological developments and achievements such as Smart Cities, 5G, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, etc. will change our lives drastically soon. For that reason, organizations, companies and research centers are trying to communicate the imminent changes with citizens - potential consumers - and to inform them of the upcoming digital transition that many describe as the 4th Industrial Revolution, in a simple and brief way. This paper seeks to identify both the positive effects of infographics and the dangers of such simplification and homogenization through paradigms, especially regarding the cultural characteristics of different sites and communities.

The rapid pace of technological developments played a key role in the previous industrial revolutions. However, the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) and its embedded technology diffusion progress is expected to grow exponentially in terms of technical change and socioeconomic impact. Therefore, coping with such transformation require a holistic approach that encompasses innovative and sustainable system solutions and not just technological ones. In this article, we propose a framework that can facilitate the interaction between technological and social innovation to continuously come up with proactive, and hence timely, sustainable strategies. These strategies can leverage economic rewards, enrich society at large, and protect the environment. The new forthcoming opportunities that will be generated through the next industrial wave are gigantic at all levels. However, the readiness for such revolutionary conversion require coupling the forces of technological innovation and social innovation under the sustainability umbrella.

Abstract This paper examines the right to freedom of thought in the European Convention on Human Rights against the background of technological developments in neuroscience and algorithmic processes. Article 9 echr provides an absolute right to freedom of thought when the integrity of our inner life or forum internum is at stake. In all other cases, where thoughts have been manifested in some way in the forum externum, the right to freedom of thought is treated as a qualified right. While Article 9 echr is a core focus of this paper, we argue that freedom of thought is further supported by Articles 8, 10 and 11 echr. This complex of rights carves out breathing space for the individual’s personal development and therefore supports the enjoyment of freedom of thought in its fullest sense. Charged with ‘maintaining and promoting the ideals and values of a democratic society’ as well as ensuring that individual human rights are given ‘practical and effective protection’, this paper predicts that the ECtHR will make greater use of the right to freedom of thought in the face of the emerging challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

This chapter examines four emerging areas of technological innovation in which digital technologies are becoming embedded into the physical world. The digitization of everyday objects includes consumer Internet of things and connected objects in smart cities. The Internet of self encompasses cyberphysical systems entangled with the body, such as wearable technologies, implantable chips, biometric identification devices, and digital medical monitoring and delivery systems. The industrial Internet of things, sometimes called the “fourth industrial revolution,” involves restructurings of industries and labor around cyber-physical systems. Finally, emergent embedded systems include those embedded objects that are born digital, such as robotics, 3D printing, and arguably augmented reality systems. Understanding these heterogeneous technical architectures, and the technological affordances and characteristics they all share, is necessary for understanding emerging governance debates.

Introduction: The imbalance between technological development and ideological strengthening has resulted in the fading of the Pancasila ideological values of millennials. Technology that accompanies everyday life seems to be the main character in human life. Yet if humans themselves do not use technology wisely, technology can be a threat to both individuals and the life of the nation and state. If technology is increasingly out of control, threats to the Pancasila ideology are very likely to occur, such as in the G 30S PKI incident. Therefore, it is necessary to take action both from the government and the community as individuals to safeguard the development of technology to be used wisely. That way, we can prevent the threat to the Pancasila ideology together. Writing this article aims to analyze how the role and influence of the Pancasila ideology on the millennial generation in the 4.0 industrial revolution and to find solutions so that the values of Pancasila remain attached to the next generation of the Indonesian nation. Method: Writing This article uses a qualitative method by using literature reviews from the results of related research journals that have been published online through websites and other online media. Results: Thirteen journals and one book have met the criteria for the inclusion of a predetermined review. Research is based on the stigma of society regarding technological developments in the Industrial revolution 4.0. Therefore, the government is expected to be more severe in implementing human capital management. Conclusion: By procuring human capital management, it will be possible that Human Resources (HR) in Indonesia will be able to carry out the ideals of a golden Indonesian generation with Pancasila values inherent in the hearts of the people and the nation's future generations.

Indonesia menjadi salah satu dari berbagai negara yang telah dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan teknologi dan iptek yang semakin canggih, sehingga dunia kini telah memasuki era industri 4.0. Generasi milenial adalah salah satu kelompok yang dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan teknologi yang serba instan, bahkan peran penting generasi milenial sudah mulai surut tergantikan oleh kemajuan teknologi. Menghadapi tantangan tersebut diperlukan solusi yang solutif yaitu mengimplementasikan model pemuridan kontekstual sebagai panggilan pelayanan terhadap generasi milenial di era industri 4.0, sehingga membentuk generasi milenial supaya beridentitas Kristen dan bertumbuh menjadi dewasa dalam iman. Pendekatan yang dilakukan adalah dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang melibatkan studi pustaka. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa model pemuridan kontekstual layak dijadikan pedoman dalam mengarahkan para generasi milenial di era indutri 4.0 agar mampu bertahan (survive) dalam perkembangan zaman yang semakin canggih.Kata kunci : Pemuridan, Kontekstual, Panggilan Pelayanan, Generasi Milenial, Revolusi Industri 4.0ABSTRACT - The current global globalization can not be dammed anymore its existence in the country of Indonesia. Indonesia has become one of a variety of countries that have been influenced by increasingly sophisticated technological and technological developments, so that the world has now entered the industrial era 4.0. Millennials have become one of those groups influenced by the development of instantaneous technology, even the important role of millennials has begun to subside replaced by technological advances. Facing these challenges requires a solution that is to implement a model of contextual discipleship as a service call to millennials in the industrial era 4.0, thus forming millennial generations so that Christian identity and growing into adulthood in the faith. The approach taken is a qualitative approach that involves the study of literature. The improvement of language skills in the higher education environment is expected to be able to help students get to know themselves, their culture, and the culture of others, so that they can form polite and polite language characters. The era of the industrial revolution 5.0 which first appeared in Japan in 2015, brought a new civilization in the educational environment, which made humans the center of innovation by deepening the integration of technology in improving the quality of life, sustainable social responsibility. The vision of society 5.0 demands a transformation in learning, especially in terms of the needs of students, the preparation and organization of teaching materials, and the pattern of mix in learning. This study describes the improvement of Indonesian language skills in shaping the character of students in the Industrial Revolution era 5.0, which is viewed from the needs of students. Lecturers as agents of change in forming smart, skilled, innovative and creative young people need to make changes in preparing lecture materials based on current technological developments.

Indonesia has a great opportunity to use technological developments in the current 4th industrial revolution. The opportunity is based on the fact that from the total population of Indonesia, more than half of them are active internet users. The largest group of internet users in Indonesia is at the age of students, these groups of students are in the middle to college student level. To occupy the need for technology-based learning, it is necessary to modify and have some innovations to various learning tools in learning activities. This qualitative descriptive research will discuss the use of technology-based learning media with Quizizz as an application in English learning lecturing process. This study involved students of the 1st level of accounting study program who had passed English Class at the Universitas Islam Kadiri-Kediri (UNISKA). In general, the results of the study indicate that English lecturing process using the Quizizz is a fun and effective activity so that it is expected to continue to be used in further lecturing activities.

The flow of globalization has no longer stopped entering Indonesian territory accompanied by increasingly sophisticated technological developments, the world is now entering the industrial revolution era 4.0. Facing these challenges, universities are required to change, including in producing quality bachelor candidates for future generations. The target of these changes is students in universities, because future job competency needs are cognitive abilities, physical abilities, content skills, process skills, social skills, system skills, complicated problem solving skills, resource management skills and technical skills. Therefore, an innovative lecture is needed so that students do not feel bored and are able to master the science and technology received at college with stable emotional intelligence. Innovative lectures are the delivery of lecture materials using learning models so that students are not bored because the majority of STKIP students, especially economic education, work. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Research that intends to understand the phenomenon of what is experienced by research subjects students who contract subjects of microeconomic theory, the Indonesian economy and the introduction of economics A and B.

From past to present, Istanbul has witnessed many empires and historical events. This accumulation has made Istanbul one of the most important cities in Turkey. The architecture and historic potential of the city dates back to centuries ago. Palace architecture is the most important cultural inventories of the city. Over time, technological developments and the industrial revolution brought the “western influence” to Turkey. This effect is observed on planning character and on the planting design. The main material of the work is Topkapı Palace, Beylerbeyi Palace and Dolmabahçe Palace. In this context, this paper consist of three stages. Literature studies have been carried out in the first stage. “Western effect” on the palaces has been investigated after the second step consisting of the field study and mapping. As result of the examinations, western influence was studied in three stages as general planning character, structural material and plant material. As a result of the study, results were obtained for each title. Suggestions were made for rehabilitation and palace gardens planning.
