This article is aimed at dealing with the situation of frequent incidents of agricultural products quality and safety and the regulatory model which is only concerned about the post-supervision in China, defining the regulatory model of quality and safety of agricultural products, describing and analyzing the present mode of agricultural products quality and safety supervision by using the loop model, and identifying the drawback that the target of supervision is wrong and the defects of current regulatory which is mainly for regulation after security incidents but ignore the risk control before incidents in the existing agricultural products quality and safety supervision mode. Accordingly, I want to improve the supervision mode, propose appropriately scientific measures to combine the supervision mode and with status and build a more perfect mode that match the present situation of quality and safety of agricultural products.

As is known that, one of the challenges in ensuring the quality and safety of agricultural products in China is how to organize plenty of scattered small farmers and integrate them into the modern agricultural products supply chain system. In this paper, in order to promote the tight integration of agricultural products supply chain, based on multi-agent system, a computer simulation model of agricultural products supply chain is proposed. Through a series of simulation experiments, the evolution of the organizational structure of the agricultural products supply chain, its impact on the quality and safety of agricultural products under different government regulations are explored and discussed in detail. It follows from these simulation results that the more long-term-contract farmers and sellers, the more conducive to the improvement of the quality and safety of agricultural products, and the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are also provided.

The Center for Disease Control estimates 128,000 people in the U.S. are hospitalized annually due to food borne illnesses. This has created a demand for food safety testing targeting the detection of pathogenic mold and bacteria on agricultural products. This risk extends to medicalCannabisand is of particular concern with inhaled, vaporized and even concentratedCannabisproducts. As a result, third party microbial testing has become a regulatory requirement in the medical and recreationalCannabismarkets, yet knowledge of theCannabismicrobiome is limited. Here we describe the first next generation sequencing survey of the fungal communities found in dispensary basedCannabisflowers by ITS2 sequencing, and demonstrate the sensitive detection of several toxigenicPenicilliumandAspergillusspecies, includingP. citrinum and P. paxilli, that were not detected by one or more culture-based methods currently in use for safety testing.

Australia has the ideal conditions for growing and processing table olives. In a climate where the majority of table olives eaten by Australians are imported, real opportunities exist for a domestic table olive industry. Attention to quality and safety will ensure that Australian table olive producers are in a position to tackle and make inroads into the international export market. The aim of this manual is to provide olive growers and processors with internationally based guidelines for ensuring the quality and safety of processed table olives. This manual covers all aspects essential for the production of safe, nutritious and marketable table olives including site selection, recommended varieties, pest and disease control, primary and secondary processing, and quality and safety testing.

Traceable system, which is as an effective way to control the quality and safety of agricultural products receives increasingly attention globally. Using the poultry as the research object, the paper builds a safety production management and quality trace system in order to achieve the goal of quality trace. This paper designs the process to fulfill the main function, discusses the key techniques and develops the safety production management and quality trace system. The system has several functions-producer management, production alert, bar code print, sending messages and quality trace for consumers. The results indicate that this system can increase the level of production management, enhance the awareness of agricultural production for the consumers, which builds solid base for poultry full process trace.
