Tower crane are widely used in construction and installation in our country, especially in high-rise building, tower crane is indispensable construction machinery. But the tower crane accident happen high frequency. This essay based on the accident tree analysis methods, combined with tower crane accident type which establish accident tree model, and then resolve the minimal segmental sets, analysis the accident cause factor, According to the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis of fault tree analysis, we can put forward some prevention ways and control measures to the tower crane accident in those aspects of unsafe actions of the human beings, insecure status of objects and the defects in safety management.

With the expansion and modernization of cities, the intensity and density of urban underground pipelines are dramatically increasing, and the surrounding environment of the underground pipelines is more complex. This paper analyzed the environmental factors of the pipelines, and divided the environmental factors into soil environment, external force and natural disaster. By using the Accident Tree Analysis researched the basic events that cause the underground pipeline accidents, and the results shows that the most important basic events are the human constructions, without protective measures, and the second important basic events are corrosion failure, no timely detection and treatment of the environment risks, such as underground cavity, encroachment. The evolution mechanism of underground pipeline accident was analyzed. According to the analysis results, the soil surrounding the underground pipelines may be evolved into unstable-state under the influence of environmental inducements, finally the underground pipelines may be damaged and the accidents will happen without any protective measures.

Aiming at security problem of metal structure of overhead traveling crane, the accident tree is established based on Accident Tree Analysis to further study. The solution of minimizing cut sets and least path sets are obtained by accident tree calculating. Finally several possible measures to prevent structural faults are obtained through final results of the calculation analysis.

Abstract: Construction of tunnels, as one of the main methods to solve physical traffic barriers, However, It vulnerable to the threat of fire during the process of tunnel operation period. In response to such situation, this article explores the smoke distribution of extra-long double-tube tunnel and its impact on evacuation in the event of a fire. This paper take the Jieling tunnel as an example, and applies Accident Tree Analysis (ATA) method combined with Fires Dynamics Simulator (FDS)simulation software to study the changes of harmful factors such as tunnel smoke. According to the research, when a fire occurs in an extra-long double-tube tunnel, It is concluded that people are supposed to be guided to leave via the nearest cross-passages as soon as possible, In the end analysis the roles that air curtains could play in the control of smoke. It is recommended to open the air curtain so that in such condition people away from the cross-passages have enough time to escape.
