Objective: Artificial intelligence (AI) seems to be bridging the gap between the acquisition of data and its meaningful interpretation. These approaches, have shown outstanding capabilities, outperforming most classification and regression methods to date and the ability to automatically learn the most suitable data representation for the task at hand and present it for better correlation. This article tries to sensitize the practising radiation oncologists to understand where the potential role of AI lies and what further can be achieved with it. Methods and materials: Contemporary literature was searched and the available literature was sorted and an attempt at writing a comprehensive non-systematic review was made. Results: The article addresses various areas in oncology, especially in the field of radiation oncology, where the work based on AI has been done. Whether it’s the screening modalities, or diagnosis or the prognostic assays, AI has come with more accurately defining results and survival of patients. Various steps and protocols in radiation oncology are now using AI-based methods, like in the steps of planning, segmentation and delivery of radiation. Benefit of AI across all the platforms of health sector may lead to a more refined and personalized medicine in near future. Conclusion: AI with the use of machine learning and artificial neural networks has come up with faster and more accurate solutions for the problems faced by oncologist. The uses of AI,are likely to get increased exponentially . However, concerns regarding demographic discrepancies in relation to patients, disease and their natural history and reports of manipulation of AI, the ultimate responsibility will rest on the treating physicians.

Background: Technology has become a fundamental part of human living. The evolution of technology has been advantageous to science development, including dentistry. One of the latest technology that draw many attention is Artificial Intelligence (AI). Purpose: The aim of this review is to explain the use of AI in many disciplines of dental specialties and its benefit. Reviews: The application of Artificial Intelligence may be beneficial for all dental specialties, varying from pediatric dentist to oral surgeon. In dental clinic management, AI may assist in medical record as well as other paperwork. AI would also give a valuable contribution in important dental procedures, such as diagnosis and clinical decision making. It helps the dentist deliver the best treatment for the patients. Conclusion: The latest development of Artificial Intelligence is beneficial for dental practitioner in the near future. It is considered as a breakthrough of the 21st century to support the diagnostic procedure and decision making in clinical practice. The use of AI can be applied in most of dental specialties.

Impacts The growing profile of private-sector app providers in the NHS will intensify the debate over privatising the service. Opacity in AI algorithms makes it difficult to question or recognise faults with the technology. The United Kingdom is likely to lag behind the United States and China on AI healthcare adoption.

Abstract Despite the tremendous progress made in recent years in assembling the human genome, tandemly repeated DNA elements remain poorly characterized. These sequences account for the vast majority of methylated sites in the human genome and their methylated state is necessary for this repetitive DNA to function properly and to maintain genome integrity. Furthermore, recent advances highlight the emerging role of these sequences in regulating the functions of the human genome and its variability during evolution, among individuals, or in disease susceptibility. In addition, a number of inherited rare diseases are directly linked to the alteration of some of these repetitive DNA sequences, either through changes in the organization or size of the tandem repeat arrays or through mutations in genes encoding chromatin modifiers involved in the epigenetic regulation of these elements. Although largely overlooked so far in the functional annotation of the human genome, satellite elements play key roles in its architectural and topological organization. This includes functions as boundary elements delimitating functional domains or assembly of repressive nuclear compartments, with local or distal impact on gene expression. Thus, the consideration of satellite repeats organization and their associated epigenetic landmarks, including DNA methylation (DNAme), will become unavoidable in the near future to fully decipher human phenotypes and associated diseases.

The scientific problem of economics “Managing the quality of human life” is formulated on the basis of artificial intelligence, algebra of logic and logical-probabilistic calculus. Managing the quality of human life is represented by managing the processes of his treatment, training and decision making. Events in these processes and the corresponding logical variables relate to the behavior of a person, other persons and infrastructure. The processes of the quality of human life are modeled, analyzed and managed with the participation of the person himself. Scenarios and structural, logical and probabilistic models of managing the quality of human life are given. Special software for quality management is described. The relationship of human quality of life and the digital economy is examined. We consider the role of public opinion in the management of the “bottom” based on the synthesis of many studies on the management of the economics and the state. The bottom management is also feedback from the top management.

The treatment of ulcerative colitis (UC) has changed over the last decade. It is extremely important to optimize the therapies which are available nowadays and commonly used in daily clinical practice, as well as to stimulate the search for more powerful drugs for the induction and maintenance of sustained and durable remission, thus preventing further complications. Therefore, it is mandatory to identify the patients' prognostic variables associated with an aggressive clinical course and to test the most potent therapies accordingly.To date, the conventional therapeutic approach based on corticosteroids, salicylates (sulfasalazine, 5-aminosalicylic acid) or immunosuppressive agents is commonly used as a first step to induce and to maintain remission. However, in recent years, knowledge of new pathogenetic mechanisms of ulcerative colitis have allowed us to find new therapeutic targets leading to the development of new treatments that directly target proinflammatory mediators, such as TNF-alpha, cytokines, membrane migration agents, cellular therapies.The aim of this review is to provide the most significant data regarding the therapeutic role of drugs in UC and to give an overview of biological and experimental drugs that will become available in the near future. In particular, we will analyse the role of these drugs in the treatment of acute flare and maintenance of UC, as well as its importance in mucosal healing and in treating patients at a high risk of relapse.

Potential Role of Cytokines in Children with Acute Appendicitis and Acute Mesenteric Lymphadenitis Although, AAP and AML have different etiological factors, clinical symptoms are very much similar but treatment tactics in both the disease differ a lot. In case of AML, treatment is more conservative and does not require hospitalization while in case of AAP immediate hospitalization and maybe further surgery can be mandatory. With the identification of group of cytokines serum inflammatory mediators IL-8, IL-10, IL-12[p70], IL-17, TNF-a and MCP-1, it is believed early and proper diagnosis of AAP in the near future. Research of cytokines-serum inflammatory mediators has opened new opportunities for an early detection and differentiation of these two diseases in children.
