Selenium derivatives of pentavalent organophosphorus compounds 9, 10, 11 (Ṙ = 2,2,6,6- tetramethyl-1-oxyl-4-piperidyl), 12 and 13 were prepared in 79-99%yields via the reaction of the corresponding trivalent phosphorus compounds 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 with blackselenium in benzene at room temperature in 20 hours.
