Research entitled "The Effect of Charismatic Leadership, Organizational Communication and Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance (Case Study on the Al-Quran Waqf Board at the Jakarta Head Office)" mission to know the influence of Charismatic Leadership, Organizational Communication and Job Satisfaction. on Employee Performance. This study's subjects were 61 employees who work at the Al-Qur'an Waqf Board at the Jakarta Head Office. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS program version 23. Results show a positive and significant influence on the Organizational Communication Variables and Job Satisfaction Variables on the Performance of Employees who work at the Al-Qur'an Waqf Board at the Jakarta Head Office. However, there is an insignificant influence on the performance of the Al-Qur'an Waqf Board employees at the Jakarta Head Office. It is recommended that companies communicate vertically, especially downward communication, so that superiors communicate more frequently with subordinates and the company can set strategies in the form of a wage scale so that no employee feels disadvantaged, either new employees or old employees.

The success of Universities to attract the prospective students undoubtedly depends on the college’s Image. When it has good image, the university can be assumed to have attracted any prospective student. Therefore, the most important thing is whether the university image is felt by the students as they expected. How to relate the recommendation preference with other parties is required. In this case the prospective students should be dragged into the university image.. This research tries to get accurate data on the students’ evaluation towards the university image. This research uses 150 students of STIE Perbanas Surabaya as the respondents. These students were of the Batch 2009 -2010. These 150 students were taken by accidental sampling. The analysis used in this study was Struktural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS (Partial Least Square) program version 1.0. The result shows that college image has significant effect on the recommendation preference with positive direction. It also shows that when there is a good experience with STIE Perbanas Surabaya (university) the students tend to recommend other prospective students and make them confident with this college. This study aims to determine the effect of work ethic and discipline on performance that is intervening by the organizational commitment of Educational Laboratory Staff (ELS) at Padang State Polytechnic. This study was motivated by the undisciplined, the lack of responsibility and work ethic of ELS towards the regulation relating to functional positions as ELS at Padang State Polytechnic, so that the work time and performance of ELS at Padang State Polytechnic is wasted. Research method with a quantitative approach with path analysis method. Data collection techniques with questionnaires, observation and interviews. The respondents of this study were 40 of ELS at Padang State Polytechnic. The sampling method uses a total sampling method where in the entire population in this study is used as the research sample. Hypothesis testing is calculated by IBM Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) program version 21.0. The results of this study found that work ethic has significant effect on organizational commitment, work discipline has significant effect on organizational commitment, organizational commitment has significant effect on performance, work ethic has significant effect on performance, work discipline does not have significant effect on performance, indirectly, work ethic through organizational commitment have a significant effect on performance and indirectly work discipline through organizational commitment has a significant effect on performance of ELS at Padang State Polytechnic.

The research highlighted the importance of kinesiology and biomechanical analysis of movement in nowadays sports performance. Our case study followed a biomechanical structure of movement of forearm flexion and extension regarding angle, angular velocity, angular acceleration, tangential velocity, centripetal acceleration, resultant acceleration. As a research method, the Kinovea program, version 0.9.3., is used for biomechanical analysis using some specific kinesiological parameters of movement. The biomechanical movement results highlighted the specific forearm flexion and extension, showing the entire movement from a specific angle and speed.

AbstractUsing interviews with former militants and previously unpublished documents, this article traces the genesis and internal dynamics of the Ejército Revolucionario del Pueblo (People's Revolutionary Army, ERP) in El Salvador during the early years of its existence (1970–6). This period was marked by the inability of the ERP to maintain internal coherence or any consensus on revolutionary strategy, which led to a series of splits and internal fights over control of the organisation. The evidence marshalled in this case study sheds new light on the origins of the armed Salvadorean Left and thus contributes to a wider understanding of the processes of formation and internal dynamics of armed left-wing groups that emerged from the 1960s onwards in Latin America.

Abstract Culture shapes our basic sensory experience of the world. This is particularly striking in the study of religion and psychosis, where we and others have shown that cultural context determines both the structure and content of hallucination-like events. The cultural shaping of hallucinations may provide a rich case-study for linking cultural learning with emerging prediction-based models of perception.

Abstract Hoerl and McCormack demonstrate that although animals possess a sophisticated temporal updating system, there is no evidence that they also possess a temporal reasoning system. This important case study is directly related to the broader claim that although animals are manifestly capable of first-order (perceptually-based) relational reasoning, they lack the capacity for higher-order, role-based relational reasoning. We argue this distinction applies to all domains of cognition.

Abstract Sociocultural developmental psychology can drive new directions in gadgetry science. We use autobiographical memory, a compound capacity incorporating episodic memory, as a case study. Autobiographical memory emerges late in development, supported by interactions with parents. Intervention research highlights the causal influence of these interactions, whereas cross-cultural research demonstrates culturally determined diversity. Different patterns of inheritance are discussed.

Modern polishing, precision machining and microindentation techniques allow the processing and mechanical characterization of ceramics at nanometric scales and within entirely plastic deformation regimes. The mechanical response of most ceramics to such highly constrained contact is not predictable from macroscopic properties and the microstructural deformation patterns have proven difficult to characterize by the application of any individual technique. In this study, TEM techniques of contrast analysis and CBED are combined with stereographic analysis to construct a three-dimensional microstructure deformation map of the surface of a perfectly plastic microindentation on macroscopically brittle aluminum nitride. The bright field image in Figure 1 shows a lg Vickers microindentation contained within a single AlN grain far from any boundaries. High densities of dislocations are evident, particularly near facet edges but are not individually resolvable. The prominent bend contours also indicate the severity of plastic deformation. Figure 2 is a selected area diffraction pattern covering the entire indentation area.
