The rapid competition of the banking business requires the company to improve the quality of service by improving employee performance. Therefore, companies need to pay attention to factors that can affect employee performance. The main factors that can affect employee performance are continuous development and improvement of individual factors including talent and knowledge. This research aims to test the influence of human resources development, talent management and knowledge management on the performance of permanent employees working in the field of services and marketing at Bank DKI KCU Balaikota with a sample number of 50 respondents. The sampling techniques in this study used saturated samples and data processing using SPSS 21. The results of this study show that human resources development variables partially affect the performance of employees of Bank DKI KCU Balaikota. Talent management variables have no effect on the performance of Bank DKI KCU Balaikota employees and knowledge management variables also partially have no effect on the performance of employees of Bank DKI KCU Balaikota.

Abstract The concept of knowledge management is required to implicate the management of human resources, natural resources, and information technology to raise the consciousness of agricultural performers of the importance of knowledge-based concepts and strategies. The problem is how to increase knowledge of human resources sustainably to improve performance and competitiveness and create a decision-making process as the first step to implement agricultural management in a more focused and measurable. Knowledge management in Sriharjo Village has begun to be developed but has not been implemented and managed optimally as a knowledge asset. This research used a qualitative approach to identify knowledge gaps and a SECI model approach to determine the implementation and knowledge management strategy. This research aims to implement a knowledge management system strategy based on water and land resources in Sriharjo Village. A Collecting data with questionnaires and interviews with respondents and taking samples of respondents in the purposive sampling method. Knowledge will disappear if only stored in a tacit form, but sharing knowledge and implementing knowledge management through the transformation of tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge can increase understanding, a consciousness of managers and users, and minimize gaps. The application of KM is necessary to share knowledge with each member of the organization, such as organize meetings, discussions, socialization, using internet media, counseling, and training to improve the performance and sustainability of the organization.

Land and irrigation are the basic resources in agriculture. The role and importance of these resources and their contribution towards productivity, in the context of the country’s increasing population, can hardly be exaggerated. Pakistani agriculture is set in a very distinctive situation of an increasing population on the one hand and diminishing resources on the other. The population of Pakistan was reported to be 131.63 million in 1996 and is projected to be 207 million in 2013 [Pakistan (1996) and WSIP (1990)]. The agriculture sector has to face the difficult task of doubling the existing food production by the turn of this century. The situation demands horizontal and vertical growth in the productivity, either by bringing more land under cultivation, or by increasing the cropping intensity of the existing land resources. This can also be accomplished by bringing more land under cultivation from the cultivable uncultivated area (a large proportion of which exists on medium and large farms under waterlogged or saline conditions). In this context, it becomes important to identify the nature of the relationship that exists between farm size and unculturable wastelands and the kinds of changes the green revolution/SCARPs projects introduced to this relationship.

Amid the arid characteristics and limited soil and land resources in the karst area to support the agriculture sector, the settlers in it strive and establish Omah Alas settlement as part of the adaptation and livelihood. Nevertheless, the study on the spatial distribution of Omah Alas as a unique type of settlement where every single house is scattered in a distance and located in the field is very few. This study specifically examines the spatial distribution of Omah Alas in Karst of Gunung Sewu and the factors behind it. Specifically, this study takes place at the Kemadang and Banjarejo Village, Tanjungsari District, and targets the farmers for the population and using purposive sampling aims those who spend their daily life in their field. The data are obtained using field survey, interview, and observation for the primary data and Peta Rupa Bumi Indonesia (RBI) for the secondary data. Those data are analyzed using nearest neighborhood analysis and kernel density. The results show how the village setting influences the accumulation of Omah Alas while the Omah Alas spatial distribution is random due to the irregularity of landform in the study area. Land use and land ownership also affect spatial distribution.
