In recent years, with the rapid development of world economy, people's living standards and cultural quality improved significantly, However, the consumption of resources is also more and more , since the scarcity of non-renewable resources and the pollution of the environment increasingly aggravated, all of countries have enacted strict environmental protection law to define the environmental protection obligations of the enterprise. to achieve the purpose of environment protection and sustainable development, building a green supply chain management system is very necessary and important. Green supply chain is to realize the economic sustainable development and an important means of environmental protection a win-win situation. This article focuses on the IT technology and modern information technology in the application of the green supply chain management, such as realizing green production, green logistics.

Many organizations are developing their competencies in logistics and green supply chain management (GSCM) in order to maintain competitiveness. When an organization decides to implement GSCM, the administrators always encounter internal and external risk items or difficulties which they know even they dont know. This study therefore proposes an analytic hierarchy model to help the administrators understand the critical risk factors influence the GSCM system initiation, and an aggregative risk degree is indicated which risk grade they are in. Successful influences can help the enterprise under their competitive advantages to appropriate allocation of resources, to further improve the efficiency of resource utilization, and provide enterprises to choose business strategy of the green supply chain management has reached the goal of corporate operating performance and brand management.

Considering the implications of EU environmental laws such as REACH (registration, evaluation, authorization, and restriction of chemicals) and EuP (directive on eco-design of energy-using products) as well as RoHS (restrictions of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment) Directive, they have been acquired to advance GSCM (green supply chain management) more and more. The aim of this article is to introduce the construction of GSCM system that improves collaborative relationships between an EEE manufacturer and its suppliers. The study is conducted in three steps. Firstly, the four elements, which are necessities to form collaborative relationships between an EEE manufacturer and its suppliers, are described. Secondly, the condition and construction of GSCM system including the four elements is proposed. Finally, we presented the method that the GSCM system is constructed as a practicable tool in the initial stage by a case study held in Shimadzu Corporation.

In today’s highly competitive market, organized supply chain management strategy is required by any manufacturing organization to ensure success in both a quantitative and qualitative manner. In order to obtain green manufacturing or a Green Supply Chain Management system, the suppliers should play an important role. Green manufacturing has an impact on inventory also. This paper describes the supplier selection model using a hybrid AHP-TOPSIS technique related to a pump manufacturing industry that intends to enhance Green Purchasing of inventory items. Different criteria that have a good impact on inventory and the environment are considered for supplier selection. First, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used to determine the weight of each criterion, and then the TOPSIS algorithm is applied to optimally select the supplier. In this work, the ranking of suppliers has effectively chosen the selection of an appropriate supplier maintaining a green supply chain management (SCM) system.
