Abstract: In Because of the lack of rains and scarcity of land reservoir water, proper irrigation methods are critical in the field of agriculture. The continuous extraction of water from the earth is lowering the water level, causing a lot of land to slowly come into the unirrigated zones. Another important reason for this is because of unplanned water use, which wastes a significant amount of water. This automatic plant irrigation system is used for this purpose. Solar energy is used to power the system via photovoltaic cells. As a result, there is no need to rely on erratic commercial power. In this digital age, we demand that everything around us be automated, reducing human effort. Electronic circuits are becoming more prevalent, making life easier and simpler in today's world. Energy and water scarcity are two major issues that everyone is dealing with these days. As a result, energy and water conservation are required. The goal is to create a solar-powered prototype that will automatically irrigate the field. Consider how convenient it will be to be able to focus on your next task while your field is being irrigated automatically and at a low cost. No worries about underirrigation or over-irrigation, water waste or expensive electricity, or your busy schedule. <p class="jbls">Presence of phytoplankton displays water quality and useablity by aquatic life. Agaie-Lapai Dam located in Niger State (latitude 9⁰ 39N and longitude 6⁰33E) was constructed for irrigation purpose and also to serves as source of livelihood to fishermen living in surroundings. The objective of the present research was conducted to assess the distribution of phytoplankton and physic-chemical assessment of Agaie-Lapai Dam. Reservoir Water.  Samples were collected fortnightly and analyzed for phytoplankton and physico-chemical parameters. The dissolved oxygen ranged from 3.8 – 5.15mg/l and temperature from 24.6 – 29.0<sup>0</sup>C.  A total of 14 species of 5 taxonomic groups were recorded. Bacillariophyceae was the most abundant group (44%) followed by Chlorophyceae (26%) while the lowest was Dinophyceae (8%). Phytoplankton abundances in the following descending order: Bacillariophyceae&gt;Cyanophyceae&gt;Chlorophyceae&gt;Chrysophyceae&gt;Dinophyceae.The spatial analysis revealed that phytoplankton was not equally distributed in the water that enabled it to function as productive water body. The observed physico-chemical parameters fell within thus it was within the tolerable limits. It is expected that the identified species will enhance fish productivity. </p>

Physico-chemical characteristics of Parichha dam reservoir of Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh have been studied. The water temperature varied between 23.0 to 37.00C. The transparency, pH, chlorides and total hardness were in the range of 100 to 145 cm, 7.8 to 9.2, 42.0 to 59.17 mg/l and 100-197 mg/l respectively. The total alkalinity, dissolved oxygen and total dissolved solids ranged between 193 to 389, 5.2 to 8.6 and 90 to 310 mg/l respectively. The study revealed that the reservoir water is suitable for fisheries.

Silver halide grains (AgX, X=Cl,Br,I) are commonly recognized as important entities in photographic applications. Depending on the preparation specifications one can grow cubic, octahedral, tabular a.o. morphologies, each with its own physical and chemical characteristics. In the present study crystallographic defects introduced by the mixing of 5-20% iodide in a growing AgBr tabular grain are investigated. X-ray diffractometry reveals the existence of a homogeneous Ag(Br1-xIx) region, expected to be formed around the AgBr kernel. In fig. 1 a two-beam BF image, taken at T≈100 K to diminish radiation damage, of a triangular tabular grain is presented, clearly showing defect contrast fringes along four of the six directions; the remaining two sides show similar contrast under relevant diffraction conditions. The width of the central defect free region corresponds with the pure AgBr kernel grown before the mixing with I. The thickness of a given grain lies between 0.15 and 0.3 μm: as indicated in fig. 2 triangular (resp. hexagonal) grains exhibit an uneven (resp. even) number of twin interfaces (i.e., between + and - twin variants) parallel with the (111) surfaces. The thickness of the grains and the existence of the twin variants was confirmed from CTEM images of perpendicular cuts.

<p>Humans have utilized landscape for  produces a diverse character of the wider area of the watershed. Agroforestry is a land management system in addressing the problems that arise due to changes in land use of soil and water conservation. The aim of the study was to analyze plant diversity in agroforestry practices that have services in the Krueng watershed landscape in Aceh watershed. Develop strategies in the Krueng Aceh DAS agroforestry service. This research was conducted in the upper, middle and downstream of the Krueng Aceh watershed, with a rapid method of Agro-Biodiversity Appraisal and SWOT. The results showed that the composition of the vegetation structure found in the study sites tended to vary with the diversity index of agroforestry that was currently in the upstream and middle of the Krueng Aceh watershed. Based on SWOT analysis, internal scores are 2.45 and external scores are 3.21. Agroforestry practices in the upper stream of Krueng Aceh watershed were dominated by <em>Aleurites moluccana</em>, <em>Areca cathecu</em>, and  <em>Averrhoa bilimbi</em> L  species with the highest INP in the upper stream of Krueng Aceh watershed. Vegetation at the middle stream of Krueng Aceh watershed dominated by <em>Areca cathecu,</em> <em>Lansium domesticum</em> and Musa<em> paradisiaca</em>.  </p>

The perception of a basic education of the importance of agroecological agricultural systems for human and environmental health is fundamental for changes in consumption habits, the conservation of local biodiversity and long-term social transformation. We analyzed, by utilizing a questionnaire consisting of open and closed questions, the perceptions about agroecological and conventional agricultural production systems in 360 final students of basic education residing in nine Functional Planning Regions of southern Brazil. We used classification categories for answers within thematic axes, expressed in percentages and analyzed by means of Chi-square and Kruskal-Wallis tests. In general, students recognize agroecological systems as healthier for their families and for soil and water conservation, largely because they do not use agrochemicals. However, they demonstrated difficulties when arguing their importance for the conservation of biodiversity, ecosystems and for ensuring the food security of populations. Television was the main source of information related to agroecology, mainly for students residing in rural areas, thus pointing out shortcomings in basic education regarding the approach of the theme in schools. Our results show the need to build a complex network of knowledge and discussions on agroecological agricultural systems in basic education, involving changes in student perceptions, behaviors and sustainable choices.
