In land seismic data acquisition systems, as seismic exploration goes towards to cover large area, a multi-channel structure is needed. In such systems, synchronization is very important, which has great influence on data acquisition and transmission. In this paper, a clock synchronization scheme for seismic exploration is proposed. In the scheme, LVDS serial transmission is used so that the whole system clocks can be made to have the same frequency through clock data recovery technique. Moreover, to compensate the effect caused by transmission delay, an effective algorithm based on PLL phase locked and FPGA logic is proposed in this scheme. The test results show that this scheme meets the system clock synchronization requirements well with the error precision less than 1ns, which fully demonstrates the feasibility and reliability of the scheme. The scheme proposed here can be used in related systems which require clock synchronization.

There are number of winding machines in the market based on either the Random, Precision, or Step Precision winding system. Filtration application requires a uniform lay of yarn or its performance may be affected, hence, for the aforesaid purpose, the precision system would be more apt. Recent trends show an increased use of electronics in all applications, textiles being no exception. The aim of the present work was to develop a filter cartridge winder (laboratory model) based on the precision winding system, controlled electronically. The novelty of this machine lies in the fact that it makes use of a chain to reciprocate the guide mounted on it, unlike the majority of commercial filter winders, which make use of scroll cams to traverse the yarn. Filter winders are specialized winders that produce cartridges in standard sizes of 10”, 20”, 30″ and up to 70”. Thus a cartridge winder is quite different from the usual winding machines not only in terms of its traverse length and feed material but also because of the core tube which has to be perforated just as one required for a dyeing process.

Through analyzing the air and pulverized coal mixture flow characteristics of coal-fired boiler in power plant, it is put forward that measuring pulverized coal flow parameters is based on energy conservation theory and arrangement rule of measuring point location is for improving measurement precision. System for measuring temperature and velocity and concentration of air and pulverized coal mixture flow is developed, and some functions of on-line measuring air-pulverized coal mixture parameters are achieved. Adopting those efficient measuring methods are able to improve boiler operation’s safety and efficiency.
