IntroductionBreast feeding has been considered important due to its short-term and long-term benefits on infant and maternal health. Regarding the long-term benefits, the influence of exclusive breastfeeding on cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) during childhood and adolescence has been studied, although with controversial conclusions. This study protocol aims to provide a clear and standardised procedure for systematically reviewing the relationship between breast feeding, in terms of duration and exclusivity, and CRF in children and adolescents.Methods and analysisThis systematic review and meta-analysis protocol is reported in accordance with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Protocols. A literature search will be conducted in MEDLINE, EMBASE, Web of Science and Cochrane Library. Observational studies regarding the association between breast feeding and CRF in children and adolescents written in English or Spanish will be included. A Critical Appraisal Checklist for Analytical Cross Sectional Studies and The Newcastle-Ottawa Quality Assessment Scale for longitudinal studies will be used for quality assessment of included studies. Standardised mean differences of CRF by exclusive breastfeeding categories will be calculated as the primary outcome. Subgroup analyses and meta-regression will be performed based on the sources of heterogeneity.Ethics and disseminationThis evidence-based systematic review will summarise the relevant information on the association of exclusive breast feeding and CRF in children and adolescents. The results will be disseminated by publication in a peer-reviewed journal. Given that the data used for this systematic review will be exclusively extracted from published studies, ethical approval will not be required.PROSPERO registration numberCRD42018082642.

Branding is extremely important as it has long-term implications for all organizations. Concerns about branding have been initially raised in the field of tangible products and are now shifting towards the service sector. The arguments are: (1) The intangible nature of the service makes consumers rely more on branding to support quality assessment and reduce the risk of buying decisions; (2) Many types of services need to rely on brand reputation to attract customers such as healthcare, consulting, education. Higher education is a special type of service with its own characteristics: highly intangible contents, the affects on human minds, difficulties with assessing the quality, emphasis on prestige, the need to have specific conditions to use. The above characteristics make the brand of a training/education institution become very important when future learners are making their choice.

Purpose. Instead of original abutments, compatible abutments are often selected for financial reasons. The present study aimed to evaluate mechanical outcomes, microleakage, and marginal accuracy at the implant-abutment interface of original versus nonoriginal implant abutments. Study Selection. Search strategy encompassed literature from 1967 up to March 2017 to identify relevant studies meeting the inclusion criteria. The following electronic databases were consulted: PubMed database of the U.S. National Library of Medicine, Embase (Excerpta Medica dataBASE), and the Grey Literature Database (New York Academy of Medicine Grey Literature Report). Quality assessment of the full-text articles selected was performed. Abutments were classified in original (produced by the same implant manufacturer), nonoriginal certified (produced by a third-party milling center, certified by implant companies), and nonoriginal compatible (produced by a third-party milling center for similar connections). Results. A total of 16 articles fulfilled inclusion criteria and quality assessment and were selected for the qualitative analysis. All of the included studies were in vitro research with high or moderate risk of bias and reported data from 653 implant abutments. Original and nonoriginal certified abutments showed better results in terms of mechanical outcomes, microleakage, and marginal accuracy compared to nonoriginal compatible abutments. Conclusions. Following the clear warnings coming from the present systematic review, clinical suggestions regarding the effect of a nonoriginal abutment can be drawn. However, in vivo, long-term, randomized controlled trials are needed to provide definitive clinical conclusion about the long-term clinical outcomes of original and nonoriginal abutments.

The European Commission and the EEA agreed to reinforce efforts to improve knowledge on implementation of air quality legislation through a joint pilot project. The Air Implementation Pilot run from March 2012 to June 2013 and aimed at better understanding the challenges cities faced in implementing air quality policy. Twelve European cities were selected and invited to join the project. One of the focus of the Pilot project was to assess the use of models for air quality assessment and management, share experiences, and identify needs for further guidance. The results of the analysis of modelling practices are presented in this work. More than 20 different models have been used for air quality assessment and management in these cities. The main purposes for which cities applied models are air quality assessment, quantification of source contribution and long term planning. The cities have found models helpful and the outputs have been used in urban air quality assessment and management, including the evaluation of strategies to reduce PM ambient levels. However, the cities found difficulties in the application of models as for instance the quality and availability of input data or the validation and uncertainty estimation of the model results.
