Comparative adjectives of Kangean Dialect of Madurese Language (KDML) are the basic adjectives that has A+D+(-an) stucture or lebbi. This study explored the function of comparative adjectives in KDML and its impact for the Kangean community. The theories used to explore and determine the comparative adjective function are descriptive and pragmatic theories. The research is a qualitative research. The method used in this research is the participatory observation method. The data were obtained from interviews with the dialect speakers by voice recording and field note-taking. Besides, researchers used the introspectiveve method (reflective-introspection method). The data that has been collected were transcribed into written form of orthographic transcription, then translated and classified according to its function. The method applied for analyzing the data are equivalent and distributional method. Meanwhile, the methods used for displaying the results of data analysis are informal and formal steps. The results showed that in KDML, there are several functions of comparative adjectives, namely to motivate, praise, admonish, command, insinuate, advise, criticize and accuse. Meanwhile, the impact of adjective utterances, people become more optimistic, comfortable, easy to appreciate, entertained, strong, cautious, deterred, and humble. Adjektiva komparatif bahasa Madura dialek Kangean (BMDK) merupakan adjektiva dasar yang memiliki struktur A+D+(-an) atau lebbi. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi fungsi adjektiva komparatif dalam BMDK dan dampaknya bagi komunitas Kangean. Teori yang digunakan untuk menggali dan menentukan fungsi adjektiva komparatif adalah teori deskriptif dan pragmatik. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode observasi partisipatif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan penutur dialek Kangean melalui rekaman dan catatan lapangan. Selain itu, peneliti menggunakan metode introspektif (metode reflektif-introspekturis). Data yang sudah terkumpul ditranskrip ke dalam bentuk tulisan dengan transkripsi ortografis, kemudian diterjemahkan dan diklasifikasikan sesuai fungsinya. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data adalah metode ekuivalen dan metode agih dan metode yang digunakan untuk menampilkan hasil analisis data adalah langkah-langkah formal dan nonformal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam BMDK terdapat beberapa fungsi adjektiva komparatif yakni untuk memotivasi, memuji, menegur, memerintah, menyindir, menasihati, mencela dan menuduh. Sedangkan dampaknya adalah masyarakat lebih optimis, peka, mudah menghargai, terhibur, kuat, berhati-hati, jera, dan rendah diri.

This study aims to determine the strategy and reservation effort to increase occupancy rates at the Grand Orchid Hotel Yogyakarta. This research was conducted at the Grand Orchid Hotel in Yogyakarta.The type of data collected in this study is qualitative, namely the strategy and reservation effort to increase occupancy rates at the Grand Orchid Hotel Yogyakarta. The data analysis technique used is the direct observation method, direct interview. The results of the research obtained are that reservations have a very important role to increase occupancy rates and there are things that support to increase occupancy rates are complete room facilities, strategic hotel location, intensity of promotion, good employee service

AbstractThe growing of character values has an important role to build the development of the learners potencyin order to behuman who are faithful and devoting to Almighty God, gracious, competitive, honorable, having good moral, polite and be able to interact to society. Through education given, learners is expected to be able toimprove independently, use and review knowledge, internalize and personalize the character values and be graciousso these can be implemented in their everyday behavior.This study aims to describe the planning of the main character values implementation in the IPS learning conducted by IPS teachers in SMP Negeri 3 Kelua, describe the executing of the main character values implementation in the IPS learning conducted by IPS teachers in SMP Negeri 3 Kelua, describe the assessment of the main character values implementationin the IPS learning conducted by IPS teachers in SMP Negeri 3 Kelua.This research method uses observation method, interview, and documentation bya qualitative research approach. The research is held in SMP Negeri 3 Kelua. The data analysis is by data reduction, display data and Verification.The results of this study and discussion illustrate, This research suggests that  the results of research can be used as additional repertoire of the application of character values about the analysis of character values implementation in IPS learning. Melalui pendidikan diharapkan peserta didik mampu secara mandiri meningkatkan dan menggunakan pengetahuannya, mengkaji dan menginternalisasi serta mempersonalisasi nilai-nilai karakter dan akhlak mulia sehingga terwujud dalam perilaku sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan,  penilaian implementasi nilai karakter utama dalam pembelajaran IPS yang dilakukan oleh guru IPS di SMP Negeri 3 Kelua. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 3 Kelua. Analisis data dengan reduksi data, data display dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan ini, menggambarkan bahwa: Perencanaan implementasi pendidikan nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMPN 3 Kelua dengan menyiapkan Silabus dan RPP terlebih dahulu, Pelaksanaan implementasi pendidikan nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMPN 3 Kelua dengan cara tugas kelompok dengan presentase dan diskusi, Penilaian implementasi pendidikan nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMPN 3 Kelua dengan menyiapkan lebih dahulu lembaran penilaian untuk peserta didik. Penelitian ini menyarankan hasil penelitian bisa dijadikan sebagai tambahan khasanah penerapan nilai karakter tentang analisis implementasi nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran IPS. Bagi guru bisa meningkatkan kreatifitasnya merancang dan merevisi rencana proses pembelajaran dengan penerapan nilai karakter sesuai kondisi sekolah dan materi pelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan teknik discovery dengan media gambar untuk membangkitkan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn kelas VII di SMPN 19 Mataram. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Metode pengumpulan data adalah metode observasi dokumentasi dan angket dengan metode analisis data korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian adalah berdasarkan analisis data yaitu: Hasil analisis data yang di peroleh dalam adalah 0,574, dengan taraf signifikan 5%, maka diperoleh nilai 0,300. Jadi nilai r perhitungan lebih besar dibandingkan dengan nilai r tabel (0,574>0,300). Jadi hipotesis (Ha) adalah, “Adanya Pengaruh Penggunaan Teknik Discovery Dengan Media Gambar Membangkitkan Minat Belajar Siswa Kelas VII SMPN 19 Mataram Pada Bidang Studi PPKn Tahun Pelajaran 2017-2018”. Diterima. The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of using discovery techniques with image media to arouse students' interest in learning in the seventh grade PPKn subjects at SMP 19 Mataram. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research, with an experimental approach. Data collection method is documentation and questionnaire observation method with product moment correlation data analysis method. The results of the study are based on data analysis, namely: The results of the analysis of the data obtained in is 0.574, with a significant level of 5%, then the value of 0.300 is obtained. So the r value of the calculation is greater than the r table value (0.574> 0.300). So the hypothesis (Ha) is, "The Influence of Using Discovery Techniques With Image Media Generates Student Interest in Class VII SMPN 19 Mataram In The Field of KDP Studies Lesson 2017-2018". Be accepted.

Bawaean Island is known for its endemic Bawa deer and other vertebrate species of mammals, avians and reptiles. However, little is known about the invertebrates, especially the Odonata (dragonflies) group. The aim of this study was to examine the variety of dragonflies on the Bawaean Island. The observation method was employed for data collection while the Shannon-Weinner Diversity Index was used for data analysis. A total of 23 dragonflies’ species consisting of four families were collected throughout the study. These include Coegnagrionidae (6 species), Libellulidae (13 species), Platycnemididae (2 species) and Aeshnidae (1 species). Ischnura senegalensis is the most dominant species. The diversity index (absolute H index) shows a moderate level of diversity in Bawean Island, with a value of 1,007.

<em>This study aims to improve the students' responsibilities in following learning activities in class XI IPS2 by implementing the group guidance model. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS2 SMA Negeri 1 Wirosari Academic Year 2018/2019. The sample was 12 students who have a problem with low student responsibility in following learning activities in class XI IPS2. The data collection method in this study used the observation method to reveal data about increasing students' responsibilities during group guidance activities and students' learning activities. The data analysis used descriptive analysis. The results showed that the students' responsibilities in following learning activities in class XI IPS2 by implementing the group guidance model increased very significantly. This could be shown from the result of the initial condition of the students' responsibilities in following learning activities class XI IPS2 by 0%. In cycle one there was an increase in students' responsibilities by 46%.</em>

Hikikomori is one of the most common social problems in Japan. This research's object is the anime series NHK ni Youkoso !, with 24 episodes, which premiered from July to December 2006. The author uses the observation method of note-taking techniques to collect data, and the data analysis is written descriptively. The results of this study contained 11 forms of Hikikomori behaviour in the anime that the author studied, namely: hikikomori perpetrators confined themselves for more than six months, refused to interact with other people, refused to go to school, refused to leave the room, experienced hallucinations, experienced insomnia, professional setbacks, have thoughts of persecution, have feelings of depression, desire death and suicidal thoughts, and are addicted to alcohol. Meanwhile, the factors causing hikikomori behaviour are amae and the inability to accept intervention from others.

This research aims to examine the speech act functions found on Instagram @punapibali and describe the types of speech acts used by the informant and news writer. Thus, this study was conducted using the qualitative descriptive method and by using the pragmatics fundamentals proposed by Wijana (1996) and the speech act function theory of Searle (1979) as the basis for examining the speech act functions used by the informant and news writer according to its type. The data were collected through the observation method accompanied by an act of scrutinizing speeches and sentences of the informant and news writer @punapibali. The oral data were collected from the conversations use to know the intonation and tone of the speech delivered. The data analysis results are presented descriptively. The results of data analysis showed there are 40 types of speech acts used in the caption of Instagram @punapibali. The expressive function is manifested in the act of asking for an apology, thanking someone, and congratulating someone. The directive function includes the act of asking, suggesting, advising, and urging. The commissive function includes expressing abilities and promising. The assertive function includes notifying, affirming, and stating. The declarative function is manifested in the act of declaration.
