The use of archimetaphor as an evaluative device of persuasion in the genre of journalistic commentaryThe present study explores the cognitive use of archimetaphor belonging to the evaluative devices of persuasion in emotional argumentation. The corpus consists of forty editorials taken from the Internet French newspapers and magazines. The subject matter of the gathered texts includes two thematic groups of reforms concerning the higher education system and the special retirement plan for public sector employees. Thanks to the archimetaphor the addresser may highlight or hide chosen aspects of the described problem in order to activate vital values concerning our life and existence. Therefore, the concept of “conflict” described in the analysed textes is conceptualised by means of four natural forces (elements) such as fire, air (wind), water and earth (soil) which leads both to the mechanism of naturalisation and axiological polarisation of the presented reality. The mechanism itself stems from two opposing relations: identification and differentiation, allowing the grouping of presented facts to the class of US (protagonists) and THEM (antagonists). In consequence, such axiological persuasion aims at influencing the addressees’ will and decisions and allows for nearly absolute acceptance of the opinions presented by the addresser.

Brazil's higher education system is characterized by a relatively small public sector, focused on research-intensive universities, and a huge private sector, which has grown continually since the 1970s due to burgeoning demand. The private sector is now dominated by for-profit institutions which, by definition, seek immediate financial gain rather than the long-term public good. In this article, we discuss current trends with respect to for-profit institutions, giving special attention to the recent creation of mega-establishments through a series of mergers involving both national and international investors. We close by warning of some of the negative implications potentially associated with the country’s dependence on for-profit higher education.

Smart Educational Learning (SEL) has recently opened its ways in various changes in scientific discoveries, informatics, globalization, astronautics production, robotics, and artificial intelligence in the Higher Education System. In such an educational system, managing resources to increase education quality with an effective interactive environment has been considered a significant challenging factor for the Students and Teachers. Hence, in this paper, the internet of things assisted Interactive system (IoT-IS) for Smart Learning is used to measure the teachers’ and students’ performance analysis in the SEL platform. The psychometric processes with standards for effective teaching using smart educational learning tools have been discussed based on the higher education system requirements. Furthermore, an active learning strategy with an attention scoring method promotes students’ performance assessment in the higher education system using the interactive system. Facial expression detection and analysis are used and applied in online classroom videos in the SEL. Based on this detection and analysis, the attention of the students is observed. The experimental results show that the method enhances the student performance ratio of 98.5%, an accuracy ratio of 95.3%, an efficiency ratio of 96.7%, a reliability ratio of 93.2%, and a probability ratio of 94.5% compared to other existing methods.

The writer believes that higher education is facing a big leap with the increasing size of the intranet in education, and the only way - in the writer's opinion - to stay in the field of higher education is to keep up with this change by dismantling the traditional system of higher education. The book also discusses the apparent imbalance in the American higher education system - in the opinion of writer Ryan Craig - and what education should be compared to what it is now, comparing the book between the major universities that have endowments and those who do not have a standstill and compete in the field of higher education and seeks to be Similar to Harvard and elite universities. He believes that the American education system should establish a two-tier system: Harvard and its counterparts benefit from elite students, and a cheaper system harnesses the Internet and technology to benefit the rest of the students. So that they can get paid for what they pay instead of paying huge tuition fees going to support a university that does not benefit them and buildings that do not enhance their learning. In the opinion of the writer that the motivation to address this type of education is the widespread increase in the spread of the Internet and the huge costs required by education in its traditional form, which necessitates finding a solution to these problems and changes in the market of higher education.

After first surveying the development of academic studies of Islam within the modern Turkish higher education system, this essay provides an inventory of material that has been translated from Western languages into Turkish. It is inevitable that orientalist studies will have a place of tremendous importance in this analysis. However, approaches to the Qur'an and its exegesis which have been developed under the influence of the Western scientific and cultural world encompass a larger range of literature that includes not only the orientalist studies themselves but also the criticisms directed against these studies. Particular attention is paid to the work of Fazlur Rahman and Arab scholars influenced by Western methods, and an assessment of the various issues related to the critique of orientalist works is provided.
