Beta-hemolytic Streptococcus group G, a rare human pathogen, has long been implicated in human disease as causing pharyngitis, puerperal sepsis, empyema, and even septicemia. We are reporting a rare, life-threatening, acute illness, primary peritonitis, due to this organism, whose etiological source probably was a family dog. Case Report R.K., a 2-year-old girl, was admitted with the complaints of anorexia, vomiting of three days' duration, and severe abdominal distension of one day's duration. The symptoms started following a burn injury over the face and lips three days prior to admission. Past history was noncontributory. Physical examination revealed an ill child of average size, fully conscious.

Background: Sturge-Weber syndrome is a rare congenital neuro- oculo- cutaneous disorder. Objective: To report a very rare unusual case of bilateral manifestation of Sturge Weber syndrome. Case: We report an unusual case of a 17-year-old female with advanced stage of bilateral glaucoma associated with facial nevus extending to the other half of the face as well and bilateral intracranial calcification. ABSTRACT The trichoepithelioma is a benign cutaneous neoplasm which is derived from hair follicles. It is common in the face, but there are only three reports of the solitary occurrence on the nose. It is often not recognized because of its rarity, controversial classification, origin and biological potential. The objective of this paper is to present a case of solitary trichoepithelioma on the nose, histopathological examination and treatment. It should be considered as a differential diagnosis of a solitary lesion of nose which is confused with basal cell carcinoma. The confirmation by histopathological examination is essential. Eczema herpeticum is a chronic dermatosis with erosive and ulcerative lesions of the skin in children of a predominantly young age. The clinical case presented in this article shows the severe course of herpesvirus infection combined with atopic dermatitis in a 5-month infant. A rash in the form of vesicles and pustules throughout the body with a predominant localisation on the skin of the face, the scalp, neck, and chest was found in the course of the examination of the child. Influence of infections on the course of allergic processes is an ambiguous and complicated issue. It has been proved that an infection can contribute to the development of allergies and exacerbate the course of already existing allergic inflammation. In recent years, an increasing number of studies have shown the preventive effect of infection on the development of allergic pathology in children, especially during the first years of life.

ABSTRACT We report on a patient who presented with pain and swelling to the left maxillary region of the face. A biopsy of the area was performed and subsequently diagnosed as maxillary carcinosarcoma (CCS). After reviewing the pathology results and the size of the tumor, it was decided that a radical dissection, followed by radiation therapy was the best option.
